Fair for the price. Accomodating staff but the room did not have a fridge. When I informed the front desk, the gentleman was pleasant and simply took one from the room next door. 10 minutes later I had to go back to the front desk to ask for an iron and ironing board. I didnt even bother to mention to him that there wasnt a pen or pad in the room so I could leave housekeeping a note(about the lack of iron) For being in the middle of nowhere there were constantly people milling around the front and rear enterances. Overall it felt a little shady, but the staff was attentive to our requests.

When you are just looking for a place to sleep, Super 8s can be a fine place to do that. But they are so uneven in their quality, and it annoys me, when I run into one that is as dumpy as the Beaver Falls Super 8 was. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that I am not getting the Ritz, not even Double Tree when I chose to stay at a Super 8. We arrived late, were getting up early, we just needed two queen/double beds and a non smoking room for the 4 of us. THAT, was about all we got. Hallways smelled of smoke. Bathroom floor was sticky in a not very welcoming way. The pillows sucked. Went down to ask for one more, but was told they didn’t have any extra pillows. Could they get one from one of the MANY empty rooms they had that night? Nope. They would need those pillows in case the room sold. Seriously, already midnight, and you think you are going to sell out the 20 – 25 other rooms you have empty? FAIL! ANDTHETRAINS! I just wanted 7 hours of sleep, nice quiet sleep. But they don’t tell you about the train tracks 150 feet from the back of the hotel, tracks that have trains running on them all night long. Woke me up three times. Thankfully, I fall back asleep easily enough. ***Get a room on the front side of the hotel if you need to stay here.*** Beds slept well enough, room smelled nice. It was an adequate room to sleep in for a night, which is what we were after to save some money for a night when we wanted to be in a nicer place. Breakfast was what you would expect at a Super 8, and we were good with that. Really bugs me that Super 8s are so uneven in their quality. I have stayed at some that are worth so much more than the $ 50 a night they charged. This one, at $ 80 bucks a night, isn’t worth it, and I imagine if you looked, you could find better for a the same or even a better nightly rate in the area.

Your probably wondering what the heck I was doing in Beaver Falls PA, well I will tell you, I was relocating to NJ from CA and this was my last stop before I arrived in Jersey. And we were all very very very tired. Super 8 Hotels are great they accept pets for a small fee which was good for us since I had my dog making the drive and was on a tight budget. However this Super was an exception to the rule so missy dog had to sleep in the cargo van but rest assured folks she was fine, it was still cool enough out at night and we all had our turn to check on her which after the 3rd wake up of the cargo light, she was not happy at all in her old age! Our rooms were clean and smelled fine, front desk staff was friendly. Free breakfast of waffles, OJ, Milk, apple juice, Coffee Tea, toast, oatmeal, cereal the usual. There is a Irish Pub across the vast parking lot, we were the only ones in it that night but the beer was ice cold and tasted so good after driving straight through 4 states that day, the burgers was hearty and the wings were tasty the bar tender was really sweet and the chef was friendly no complaints! So if you need to rest your head for the night before continuing on your journey, stop here it was money well spent.

This is a good hotel if you just really just need a place to sleep and want to save money. The room was clean. The beds were a bit hard but not too bad. They only provide one thin pillow per person which is not cool for me. The rooms are a nice size. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They gave me extra towels and an extra pillow on request. The continental breakfast is limited to cereal, English muffins, and small pastry. Overall the value was good and we will use it again when visiting the area.
