We’ve been coming here for Dim Sum for a few years now and has always been impressed with how much dim sum you can get for a fraction of the price compared to anywhere else. The food is really good. The environment looks like a hole in the wall, but we’re judging on the food. It great for those that live on the west side of town. They have almost everything there and if you don’t see it, you can order it :)

Basically, I am an easy going guy. And this is my first time to complain a restaurant. But here is a hilarious story that i would share with people. I do mention that I am a person who has never ever forget to give tip when I go to any restaurants. And I tip them at least 15% of total price no matter how they are nice or not, + tip them more depends on thier service quality. I had dinner at this place with my wife and my two kids. After the dinner, I was taking care of my kids getting out the restaurant. Then the two ladies came to my table, stared at my table and started speaking their language each other. And I asked them«what are you talking about?» She pointed at my table and answered with unkind“TIP!!”. I guess she thought I am not going to tip. But I was like WTF. Because I was already thought about the tip and she directly asked me tip(she didn’t even kind to me while she was talking. She was demanding to me for tip). However, my wife and I were still taking care of my kids and standing by the table. If eventually I did not tip to them then they can swear at my back of my head. I can’t easily understand of their attitude. I really wonder what kind of service it is. We spent about $ 60 for crappy service. Thank you for your nesty service.

all dishes seem to taste the same. The portion is getting really small even after they keep increasing the price! There are much better restaurants around to even bother to step foot in this dump.

The restaurant is in a dingy strip mall next to Nike. Seems a little dirty on the inside, or maybe just old? We were seated right next to the bathroom which was odd. Still wanted to give the food a chance. The dim sum appeared hot and fresh, however the flavors weren’t amazing and the shrimp was not de-veined. I don’t think I’ll go back.

Tried it again after three years and the service was very bad. We asked for water three times and they kept delegating the request to other people and basically was just ignored.

Great choice for dim sum! I would rate it higher, but the building, décor & parking lot leave ALOT to be desired. But we have never had bad service or bad food. It’s a come as you are place for a quick tasty meal.

Absolutely BEST dim sum in town! Great live sea food with reasonable price. Most time I order roast duck or pork to go because this is the only place to get in the west side of Portland. The food always fresh and tasty, and not Salty as other places. It’s very nice to see they expand the parking lot recently. So there should be plenty parking spaces for weekend dim sum rush hour. I’m a Chinese and I’m picky Chinese food eater, but this restaurant never let me disappoint.

We’ve gone into China Town several times and have always got a decent meal in there, however the last time we went into there we were treated extremely rude and will never step foot in there again. Again, we’ve been seated in there tons of time and that was the first time the waitress told us we were to «big» to sit in a booth, seriously who insults a customer like that before they are even seated???

Loved their dim sum. Lots to pick from and was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised as when you first go in it really looks like a hole in the wall. It’s worth the trip! I definitely keep going back and was willing to drive from the other side of town. Nothing on the East side compares to the dim sum at China Town. Give it a shot, it’s cheap and worth every penny(even more).

Foods better than the service but not by much. It’s probably because we came at 3pm but some of the dim sum seemed like it may have been sitting out a little longer than it should. Watch what you get. I would recommend jin wah in the morning for din sum, here if you’re desperate. The roast pork and duck looks amazing will have to try if i return. They didn’t refill our waters once!

First off Unilocal needs to offer less than one star as an option. Since there currently isn’t, 1 star it is. The only thing that could be worse than the money and time I already wasted here would be not trying to stop others from doing the same. Here goes short and sweet… First red flag– From the outside it screams get back in your car and leave, but you convince yourself, maybe this is one of those«hole in wall gems». It is most definitely not that! Second flag– The place was almost empty, and the poor folks that were there looked as if they just saw a puppy drown(or not the face of someone that just had a great meal) Third flag– We ordered 4 items off the dim sum menu. The first two were dumped off at our table within 1 minute. Luke warm, cold in the middle, bland and dry. Dim sum should be pretty quick but not that quick. The second two arrived shortly after and just as disappointing. The steam buns were strangely sweet and gluey. I can’t speak to the flavor of the pork shew my because the appearance and odor didn’t allow me to actually take a bite. In short, if any of your«friends» recommend this place. Don’t go, and find new friends.

Look what I found in my food. Maybe a hair net makes for good sanitation and return customers. I think I’m going to throw up night, hence the short review. Unremarkable Chinese food, except for the big long black hair that greets you on the plate. Barf.

I’ve passed by this place many times and did not give it a second look because the store front really makes it look like a hole in the wall… but not in the good way. I only came here because a friend recommended this place to me and it ended up actually being pretty good here! Food: The food is pretty authentic here! There are also your typical Americanize Chinese dishes like orange chicken but there are other dishes that Chinese people actually consider Chinese food! Amazing! The dishes all had pretty good portions for the price and it also tasted pretty good. The only thing I would recommend against: DONOTORDERTHEDIMSUMITEMS. Those were NOT good. Ambiance: There’s a ton of Asians here. That’s a good sign, it means the food is authentic and good! Since there were a lot of Asians here, that also means the restaurant is pretty loud. You feel like your in Hong Kong in this restaurant. Service: The wait staff ladies are pretty nice here. No complaints. They even offered us free soup(although she forgot to bring it to us, at least she offered!) Price: All the dishes were straddling the $ 10 range. Depends on what you order. Seafood is obviously more expensive and chicken will be cheaper. The price is pretty reasonable here. Overall: I’m glad my friend recommended this hole in the wall! I’m happy with this find! I will definitely come back for more! But I’ll just avoid the dim sum next time.

The dim sum is pretty decent at this restaurant. I love how they use pork lard on their egg tarts in sum, it offers a semi porky flavor. Over all this place is pretty decent being the only dim sum place in Beaverton.

This is a pretty great place if you want good dim sum. They serve it all day(so there’s no «shortage» of dim sum after a particular time), it is quick, convenient, and fresh.

Foods here are great and affordable. There’s this lady that recommended us a dish, and it’s so good. She’s so nice. Love the way that they serve dim sum all day!

This is a great place if you are with a large group and starving. The food comes out right away upon seating. Good dim sum with a good variety. You can order items as well as grab from the carts that go around. Good pricing and friendly service. There’s parking outside too. I recommend the bell pepper with shrimp and the shrimp noodle with sauce.

I’ve only been here twice for dimsum and both times its tasted okay. Not the best dimsum but definitely much more convenient for me than driving 30+ min to the east side for other options. They don’t have as big of a selection as most places but it’s good enough because they have the most popular items.
