We are a traditional ceramic shop that offers a variety of options. We have clay for those that want to get their hands really dirty and create something from scratch. We also have greenware for those that want to clean their own pieces and get just a bit dirty. For those that want to come in and just paint till their hearts content we also have bisque.

We also offer firing, paints, brushes and other supplies for those that work at home.

And for those that are just looking for a unique gift that can be personalized we offer a option for special orders.

History

Established in 1992.

Jan Plymale started Jan’s Ceramic Creations on 185^th in Aloha in 1992. Since the beginning she has touched many lives by bringing the love of art to all situations. She has helped schools by the encouragement and support art programs. She has touched little ones by providing art classes at many day cares and day care centers in the area. But most of all Jan’s Ceramic Creations as been there. Been there for our customers to help them in any way she can. She has tried and continues to strive to provide a business that puts relationships before the bottom line.

Business Owner

Janice Plymale has been in the ceramic industry since early 1970’s. She has attended many of the Duncan, Mayco, Hobby Colorabia, and Olivia colors teacher’s certifications. She is a certified Judge and Master Judge for the International Ceramic Association. She is a member of the Oregon Ceramic Association and has help many offices. Currently she is the treasurer and competition chairman for the Oregon Ceramic Associations Ceramic Show.
