Sad to say, Music Time the record store, no longer has a store front. It used to be my favorite hidden gem for all things collectible, rare and«must have». The owner is definitely a hidden gem himself. I used to spend my lunch breaks driving in from Portland just to see what new he had procured and also to simply shoot the breeze with the owner. Music Time was just like my favorite bar or coffee shop. They treated all of their customers like one of their«regulars» and just like my fave bar, always knew just what I liked; often times setting aside titles for my arrival. I used to think it was all just for me, but come to find, they did that for everyone :) Truly offered a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for vinyl collectors like myself. This weekend, I spotted Music Time at a record show and once again, had my faith restored in the power of excellent customer service and premium quality. It turns out, they occasionally appear at local shows here in the NW and the owner is still just as phenomenal. Music Time, my favorite record store and finest purveyor of high quality rare titles. Come back!

Place rating: 5 Portland, OR
This place is a hidden gem for the vinyl lover. Some of the records are a little pricey, but a lot of them are hard to find here in Oregon. The best thing about the shop is the proprietor! The older gentleman that is usually there whenever I go is very knowledge about all the product they carry and delightful to chat with. The $ 2.00 bin is full of useful product especially for those trying to build their crates. If your in Beaverton, hit it up!
