This store is incredible. We took the metro from downtown and it was easy to find. The line on Monday morning was not that long. It is 50% off most things in the store. They had so many shoes and even new releases of the LeBron, Kobe, Kyrie and Durant for BHM. The kid’s stuff was really good (shoes and drapey tops for kids!). They had a lot of sports stuff (Oregon, Seahawks) and the women’s selection was good for outerwear. I would definitely come back. Also, the store employees are really nice and helpful.

This store was so awesome! I was like a kid in a candy store. And left after doing some damage. 7 pairs of shoes, and more than enough athletic gear! Everything is 50% off AND tax free? Just drop me off and come back for me at closing time. Oh wait, that IS what happened.
I don’t know how fast I’ll wear out my shoes, but I couldn’t stop! After I finished browsing the women’s section, I started trying on kid size Jordans. So awesome. I think I spent 2 hours in the shoes area alone.
I’ll never look at Nike’s the same again. I can only shop here. Forever.
Only bad note, I didn’t know you couldn’t take photos, so i snapped a photo at the end of my experience, and got scolded at by an employee and had to delete the photo :(

A definitely must-​go spot if you can get a pass! I was lucky enough to know a friend who works at the Nike HQ in Portland and he was able to get me a pass. Nike Employee Store has a variety of different styles and items compare to the full line and outlet store. Thank god I was able to find some stuff I like. YOU CAN NOT BEAT 50% without TAX! Also, sometimes when you’re here, you might be able to run into some NBA/​NFL players. Since I came a day before the Warriors would play the Blazers, I actually ran into some of the Warriors players and I got a picture with them which is pretty awesome. My heart was literally beating…

Conclusion: I would definitely come back here! Friendly associates and you have a high chance to meet some NBA players.

It’s the Nike employee store. It’s guest only so you’re going to have to know someone working for the company as your name needs to be on the list. Don’t forget your ID and plan on standing in line while trying to get in the building. Product is great quality and is all new releases for Nike. Remember to try things on as you don’t get to exchange things only buy and return. Staff is as about as knowledgable as any Nike staff could possibly be. Forever trying to get in.

They’ve changed their policy on exchanges. You’d have to forfeit your cash transaction for a gift card; then you are allowed to re-​enter the store; if you don’t find your size, too bad now you can use the residual balance at a regular store.
It’s just too busy for them to go to the back and exchange for the right size.

I love it! Even though the women’s selection wasn’t huge, I still got some pretty cool stuff. I wish I didn’t have to bug my friend for a pass to get in but it’s really generous of Nike to even give passes out to their friends.
If you ever get the chance to go, definitely take it!

Definitely a must-​go if you get a pass! During the holidays, the store opens an HOUR earlier — FYI! Thank goodness I came at 9 right when they started letting people in.
GO EARLY. They don’t restock throughout the day so all the good sizes sell out fast.
They carry some new-​er items, but definitely not everything you would see in a regular Nike store. However, if you’re lucky, you’ll find oreo flyknit racers for $ 70 like I did.
Men’s selection is definitely way better than women’s. They have more shoes and clothing. Women’s — mostly tights, running long sleeves, a few hoodies, sports bras, and a few shorts.
They do not have Jordan’s and if they do, the 50% only applies to employees and not guests.
NO refunds/​exchanges. Make sure you try everything on!
Grab whatever you THINK you may WANT and then decide later. I made the mistake of putting some stuff back, regretting it, and then my size was gone. Oh well.
It’s definitely not as CRAZY as everyone makes it out to be, but for someone who doesn’t own a lot of Nike gear, it’s pretty decent.
Think Nike Factory Store but a little bit better!

«Private store» for employees and their relatives, but honestly, after all that exclusivity and allusiveness, this place is 3 stars at best. Was pretty unhappy with the selection in the store, although they did have good prices (~50% off) retail price on everything they sold, the selection was mediocre.
I was really hoping to pick up some nice shoes or even some casual wear, but I feel like the selection here was pretty limited and random. Note that there are some max limits on how many of each item you can purchase, I think we ran into the limit of 3 pairs of each shoe when we came, because we had many people trying to pick up a bunch of shoes to stock up and couldn’t get enough for everyone.
*Protip* Buy multiple sizes of things if you aren’t positive what size you or your relatives are, you need a pass to get in the store and purchase things, but you can return things whenever you want without a pass.

I of course have to write a review to the closest thing to heaven on Earth… and that is the Nike Employee Store. There are Nike fanatics everywhere you go because it’s such a universal brand, but the Nike game is so serious here, it amazes me. All Nike enthusiasts should direct their way to Beaverton immediately.
Pretty much the ONLY downfall here is that you need to have a connection to get in, which is especially harder for non-​native Oregonians. All you need is a serious hookup from someone who works at any Nike store to call in and put your name on the list, and being from Cali, all of the connections we knew required a 72 hour notice to be on the list apparently. Luckily we had a family connection who was local and got us on the list the night before.
The store opens at 10:30am and there was a long line to get in even before that time. They have a good system because once you get inside, you show them your ID and you get a guest pass (one per couple) and that is your golden ticket. Mind you, this is NOT an outlet. There aren’t products here that no one wanted or outdated Nike hand me downs… everything here is in season. 50% off retail. No tax. Of course I went nuts!
Once you get in, be sure to grab a cart even if you don’t think you’re going to buy a lot because you will end up putting a lot of stuff in there you didn’t think you needed. I have tiny feet (6 in women) and they were stocked with my size in basically everything. Men’s shoes were a little more difficult to find smaller sizes and their section was much larger and cheaper than the women’s. Their clothes section is also stocked full of dri-​fits, tech fleece, football jerseys, etc.
The line is ridiculous and was probably a 45 minute wait. 3 hours, 16 pairs of shoes, and 3 full bags of clothes later, my siblings and I maxed out our cards, which was super easy to do. One last thing, s/​o to our cashier for making the paying process such a breeze! It’s one guest pass for 2 people, and since there was 3 of us we could only have 2 transactions, but she made it so simple for us to each pay for our own items and also had everything shipped back to California for us! (FYI– for shipping you pay out of state taxes). Nonetheless, awesome experience. I’ll be back forsure.

The greatest store in the world! The problem is that it is extremely hard to get into. I have been here 3 times in my life and pretty much maxed out my bank account each time. It is the size of a grocery store and has Nike, Hurley, and Converse items. Everything is semi 50% off retail and all the items are current brand new items.(Example is Hurley is only 40% off for some reason) Some items like Jordan Retro can only be purchased at a discount if you are family or an employee.
So, to get in you needed to be a vendor or athlete invited, Family of an employee, or an Employee. It is much harder than the Adidas employee store that is fairly easy to access.
So, my advice is to just start trying to date someone at Nike and have your first date here.

If you love Nike, you’ll absolutely love this place.
Everything you see at the nike store at 50% off and no tax to boot.
You’ll see their full range of products — golf, tech pack, jordans, converse, kids, the list goes on.
Only bad thing about this place is that it’s extremely difficult to get in (you need some serious hookups) especially for us non Oregonians.
Don’t bother going if you’re not on their list — they won’t let you get in (it’s a waste of time).
Remember to stay calm and think twice before you put something in your cart (you’ll probably end up spending more than you intended).

I didn’t realize how many Nike fanatics there are out there.
This place is probably heaven for them. People are begging, offering cash and their first born for a chance to come here.
All the latest and greatest new releases of shoes, shirts, shorts and other athletic gear with the latest in clothing technology and designs signed off by celebrities that were just released are here!
This is top shelf Nike. Unlike most people I can’t see or don’t care enough about the difference between top shelf and the wells of Nike sold at outlets or national department stores. From a practical point I can’t understand the need to wait in lines and trying to get the prized passes to come here.
To be fair, everything here is 50% off retail (most likely everything). They have a large selection of shoes (about ¹⁄₃ the store), and lots of athletic gear with the swoosh logo prominently displayed. If you really love Nike and want across the board discount and latest merchandise this store is it.
The people who have a million excuses or reasons to justify coming here: shopping for disadvantaged children, visitors from out of town, my bf, i’ll die if i don’t come here — please consider other avenues for buying Nike.

This place is a wonderland of amazingness. If you are lucky enough to know someone who works here or work here yourself, you get 50% off the latest gear. I feel so hip when I show up to the gym with the latest gear (I am usually a nike idiot), but I get people asking me «are those the new… (fill in the blank). YES!!! Yes they are.
The employees in the company store are super helpful, and the place itself is huge. I shit you not I think we spent 3 hours inside, first running around like children not knowing what to do with ourselves, and then grabbing everything we could like it was free. My hubs said he literally felt like he was robbing store… and when I saw his shopping cart, I said, no dear, they are actually robbing you… lol.

I waited and waited for that golden ticket. And damn if I wasn’t disappointed in every way once I went. I’m going out on a very un-​Portlandian limb here to say «What’s the big deal?»
Granted, we went the week before school started, but the line always seems to be wrapped around the building on a weekend morning. The place was a mad house. The selection of women’s clothes was just fine, the selection of training shoes was disappointing. The line literally took almost an hour and wrapped all the way around the store. And the sheer amount of money parents were dropping on their privileged children was disconcerting. Not. Worth. It.
You’ll find me at the outlet on MLK, where the store is fairly quiet, you can get some decent service, and the shoe selection is better.
Blasphemy, I know. But whatever.

The only thing that is super annoying is that when they have a huge day like the Oregon day, Cougar day or even a club sport day — you can be there for 3 hours looking for things … but never find anything in your size.
I hate that 3 times a year I can go in, but get cheated out of it because there are certain people (we all know who they are) who come in and buy all the size 7 or 8s in a shoe size and then sell them somewhere else. How annoying. Takes the fun out of going to the employee store. I rather just not.

Converse) I could be wrong but, they do have
plenty of that product line.
Customer service is well staffed,
helpful and very knowledgeable
of product line. Check out was a breeze,
cashier was very sweet and pleasant.

Honestly, it’s 50% off of the newest Nike shoes, apparel, and accessories… what’s not to love?!
Depending on the day and season, the selection might be hit or miss (ie. sizes and colors) and the store is usually always busy… but if you know what you’ve come to purchase, dealing with the crowds can be manageable.
They’ve recently changed the rules so that only employees and family members of employees are eligible for discounts on Jordan’s, but other than that, you can have your fill of Air Maxes, Roshes, KD’s, etc…
Plus, the customer service is always top notch. Love this store!

50% off retail. No sales tax. Are you kidding? I’m so there. After discovering that you need a guest pass in order to enter the building, I knew I had to act fast trying to get hooked up with someone affiliated with Nike.
More specifically, you have to know someone who is employed by Nike Co. so they can list you as a guest at the Nike Employee Store. They do check your ID as well.
You better believe Chel miraculously made it happen!
Seven pairs of shoes+three workout tanks+five tees+three shorts=two hours. Not bad at all!
I’m coming back next year again!
