Great salads, pizza, and drink selection. This place isn’t for you if you want a greesy meat lovers pizza. The prices tend to be more on the expensive side but you are paying for a quality pizza. Good outdoor seating.

We love the Murray Scholls Pizzicato. We probably come here too often. But we love the location, the food, the drinks and especially the staff. Ben — the manager — is awesome, and we always feel lucky if we land in Jacqui’s area. She is the best! Wednesday’s can’t be beat… half price pitchers and bottles of wine? Love. Best Pizzicato in the Portland area!

This pizza parlor deserves a stellar review. We came in on a pleasant afternoon looking for some delicious pizza, and that’s exactly what we got. The pizza was made to perfection, but the service we got is what makes this review 5 stars. The computer systems were down, but the man who served us, who I believe to be the manager (tattoos, muscles, dark hair) did all he could to make sure we were taken care of promptly. He took our order manually, and did his best to assure we were comfortable and that our food was made to our specifications. He even offered us cups of ice for our drinks, though we didn’t need them. He said «bless you» when I sneezed from all the way across the room, and maintained a most cheerful attitude despite the inconvenience with the computers. 5 stars without a doubt. If you want perfect pizza and service that will make your day, head to this Pizzicato.

I love this place! The staff is always so friendly when I go for pick up. However most of the time I get delivery! Best pizza in town! The BBQ chicken I’d my favorite.

First of all, I am from Chicago, pretty much the Pizza Center of the World for all intents and purposes. The way Portland cares about being green is *almost* as much as Chicagoans care about pizza. So I write this strictly for my fellow Chi town transplants and immigrants, who I know are constantly searching for REAL pie out here in crunchy local organic land.
Pizzicato is the ONLY pizza I’ve found in Portland that comes anywhere close to a true Chicago level of excellence. Frankly, there is no higher praise for pizza than this. Amazing flavor, just the right amount of olive oil, perfect «bite». This has got it all. Go now and thank me later.
You do rock Pizzicato but pleeease extend your delivery area to the west! I’m literally 10 minutes away and I promise to buy it alllll the time; 185^th is not as far as it sounds! ;). Love you guys!

Good pizza and tasty salads. Delivery is a perk but it is a little on the spendy side.

For as expensive as this pizza is their service is horrible. Per their website it said there was a delivery option. When I called I was told «we don’t really do that». I then said okay, I’ll put in an order for pick-​up and was told «they don’t do that either». I’ve done that multiple times and told the girl so, to which she said «they are really busy and if I called back in 5 mins they might be able to help me.» This was at 3:30 for an order I wanted to pick up at 5:30! Will never go there again or recommend them to anyone ever!

Pizza, appetizers, salads, and panini round out the menu. Probably the best pizza I’ve had since moving here. All pizzas, unless otherwise noted, are topped with mozzarella, parmesan & fresh herbs; gluten-​free crust available too. The crust isn’t too thick and not too thin, it’s just about right. Prices range from $ 10 to $ 27.50 depending on size and toppings. Any and all pizzas can be half & half what ever toppings you want. I’ve had the Di Pollo: chicken breast, wild mushrooms, roasted garlic & fontina on a garlic/​olive oil base; the Sausage Combo: fennel sausage, mushrooms, black olives & smoked mozzarella; the Squisita: lamb sausage, artichoke hearts, feta & fontina on a house-​made pesto base.
Salads are tossed to order. Priced from $ 5.00 to $ 12.75, depending on the size. Ones to try are the Cesar, yes, you had better LOVE garlic; the Arugula Pear: candied walnuts, mixed greens, gorgonzola, slices of Bartlett pear & balsamic dressing; the Chinese Chop: mix of cabbages, lettuces & veggies with crispy wonton noodles, peanuts & spicy Asian dressing. You can add chicken or shrimp for a little extra $$$
The Panini’s come with chips or one of the salads. Roast turkey, meatball, fresh mozzarella, grinders, clubs, pretty standard choices, all on ciabatta bread. Reasonably priced too, at $ 8.25. If you sign up for their mailing list you get 15% off your first order, as well as one great coupon per month. They also do catering and take care of everything from plates and napkins to delivery and set up with 24 hours notice. Reasonable prices there too.
Guess you could say I’m now a Pizzacato fanatic!

Nothing to write home about?! Pizzicato is great! Pizzas are awesome, salads are so fresh (the Chinese Chop and Spinachio are excellent), and the spinach artichoke dip is to die for (although the portions are small, still worth it)! Highly recommend Pizzicato. You won’t find a better pizza in PDX.

Such an amazingly tasty pizza!!! Our family orders delivery from pizzacato consistently along with some of their great salads… Service is friendly all the time and their food is yummy in my tummy!!! My kids love it too :)

Decent pizza. Nothing to write home about though. I prefer Pizza Schmizza or Mod Pizza.

Usually love this place but our pizza delivery arrived cold and the crust was dried out and hard.

Probably one of the better Pizzicato’s around. We’ve been to a few and have been impressed with the consistency of the Murray/​Scholls location. The crust is usually cooked perfectly, they have the right amount of toppings, and we’ve never gotten a cold pizza as we have at the Cornell location.
The bad side. They don’t deliver past Bull Mountain Rd. We live right off Bull Mountain and were told Sorry, No. It literally takes four minutes from our house to the location so we don’t mind picking it up but sometimes on a Friday night after fighting traffic, you’d like to have the option to have a pizza delivered.
No delivery = three stars. I was told by an employee if more people complained/​asked for expanded delivery they might actually look into it. If they make that happen, I’d have no problem giving them five stars.

Based on a first time delivery, it was hands down the best in the area. Decently priced. I expect pay $ 25 – 30 for a quality pizza. XL size is 18″. Delivery came in the window of time we were told-​45 mins. They don’t deliver until after 5pm.

I LOVE the pizza here. I am a thin crust kind of girl so it was perfect. They had many great traditional and non-​traditional selections. I thought it was reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of pizza. I was not a fan of the clam chowder though… but then I’m pretty picky about clam chowder.

Just got a home delivery… on time and hot.
Very tasty pizzas and kale salad. Everything was fresh on our salad and the pizzas were thick with mushrooms and garlic, placed on a layer of olive oil. Nice.
So why only 3 stars? I’ve just had better pizza and to give them anymore wouldn’t jive with the food scale in my head. So, all is good here.
P. S. place your leftover pizza in a skillet (cast iron if you have one) on simmer. Now wait for the bottoms to turn crispy. Best leftover pizza ever. Enjoy.

Ive tried the Cesar salad (MUST love garlic if you order it) it was delicious! The arugula salad is amazing & must try — the flavors dance around in your mouth! I’ve had the veggie pizza as well as pepperoni and love them both.
The meals were scrumptious, & our server Jessica was AMAZING. We had a wonderful time & we will definitely be back soon!

I am downgrading the number of stars to three because of my recent experience here.
We ordered 2 large pizzas whose names we’re not in English, not that I have a problem with that but come on now, and a large Caesars.
As an example one of the pizzas had lamb sausage on it, and I swear out of the 8 pieces cut out of the pizza, there were 10 little chunks of lamb sausage the size of my half my thumb. «Where’s The Lamb?»
The all the vegetable pizza we had was really rather mediocre and I frankly found the artichoke hearts to be a on the tough and chewy side.
We also don’t think we got a large Caesar because it was in the same size box that had previously contained a medium sized Caesar, and it’s not like it was crammed full.
Another typical experience at this restaurant, two uninspiring pizzas at $ 25 bucks apiece and the salad adding another $ 10+ to the total. And the saddest part of all this was the best choice in the area to please the five of our dietary needs.

Three words for this place: Garlic. Caesar. Salad.
The lunch special is wonderful and delicious for the price.

Yay! I’m a fan.
This place does not get five stars from me because I have had pizza «as good as it gets» and this is close, but not quite as good.
LOCATION: Murray Hill Shopping Center is a horrible place to find parking and get in and out of. Park in the 24 Hour Fitness Parking lot (yes, the irony is not lost on me) and your life will be much easier. However, the restaurant is pretty big for the area and also for other Pizzicatos. Outdoor seating next to the parking lot and plentiful indoor seating with great AC.
SERVICE: We always have friendly service. We had a salad that was missing two toppings and, since we live 15 minutes away and usually get take-​out, this was a problem. They did not even question it and gave us our next salad free, which they were sure to put amble toppings on. I should have taken a picture. Very nice and greatly appreciated. Pizzas do take some time
PIZZA: Pepperoni Supreme and Puttanesca are our go tos. Their seasonal specials always look interesting but we never venture. Their pizza does not get five stars because I think the crust needs to be a little thicker and the prices are just a little too high and it takes just a little too long.
SALADS: HUGE! A large salad feeds at least four people. I really like their balsamic vinaigrette, it’s really tangy.
BREADSTICKS: SO GOOD but overpriced. Three with some marinara for $ 4.25. Just barely worth it.
Note: If you like gourmet pizza, this is the place for you. If you are a Papa Murphy or Godfather’s only type of pizza eater, this may not be your cup of tea.
They serve slices until 5pm.
