Have been there twice. First time was OK, not good, just OK, should have known better not to go again. Anyway, gave it a try. Service was horrible. Manicure was horrible. Hand massage after mani was non existent, my 5 year old could do much better. Will never go again, nor will I recommend to anyone to go there. On the bright side, don’t have to bring your own files and place looks clean. Although I saw girl pouring water out of the dish she used for manicure did not even rinse. Put it back on the self

The staff is very friendly, the services are professional and they took their time, paid attention to detail. They had a menu of some drinks and a menu of services. I have been there at least 3 times and the service had been consistent. My nails look great and the pedis always last a long time. I have been to a few nail places over the years, I appreciate they were attentive and did not start talking to colleagues and tuning out during the massage part of my pedi. Had males two of the 3 times I’ve been there, they did a good job.

Sent my 16 year old daughter in for acrylics for homecoming. We won’t be going back. She left there with cuts on two of her fingers, there were polish spots on several of her fingers, the cleanup around the nails was minimal, and they charged her more than they originally told her it would be. It may be a nice place but the experience level of the staff there leaves much to be desired. It’s unfortunate because they are close to home and I love to be able to local businesses.

Burned my cuticles FOUR times!
My girlfriend had a gift card to use so I joined along with her. Brand new everything within the salon and so I immediately assumed the best. $ 40 «deluxe» pedicure was meh and by the time my acrylic nails were done I knew I would never go back. I’ve been burned before when I was in my early 20’s simply because I didn’t know right from wrong as far as a good manicure goes. Today the lady burned me FOUR times. Finally got time for the nails to dry and I showed her where all of the glue had burned my skin and she insisted it was just powder that could be removed with some oil. She applied the oil then sprayed it off with alcohol! I had to grab the spray bottle to make her stop and tell her that I had just showed her how burned my fingers were. Not ok. Just lack of experience that’s all. Never going back.

3.5 stars. Being new to the area and BADLY needing a pedicure, I took a chance as a walk-​in. After waiting less than 5 minutes one of the ladies — she never told me her name nor did she ask mine — had my feet soaking in a swirling bath of warm water. She handed me a laminated menu of services and their prices as well as a menu of complimentary beverages. I told her exactly what I wanted: no cuticle cutting, pushing back only, and that I needed an acrylic fill on the split nail of my big toe due to permanent damage as a child. It wasn’t a problem and she said the hot stone manicure would be $ 27 and the fill an extra $ 3. She was very gentle and kept checking in with me along the way to make sure she wasn’t hurting me in any way. I did enjoy the foot scrub and hot stone treatment with massage. I also liked the fact that a new, out-​of-​the-​package personal pedicure tool kit was used on each customer. No more «sharing.» The price for it must have been included since there wasn’t an additional fee.
Overall, the pedicure was great. I tried making conversation but got minimal response, so after a few minutes I gave up. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the world’s greatest conversationalist and maybe it was because English seemed to be everyone’s second language. It really doesn’t matter but it was a little awkward sitting there for over an hour without conversation. There was music playing and a TV with no sound to watch. She noticed that my nails needed to be done but didn’t press me to make an appointment. I told her I would check my schedule and call for an appointment if I decided to come back. I have no complaints really except that there wasn’t much interaction with customers. One BIG positive is that the woman who did my pedicure was honest. I accidently gave her $ 20 too much and was in my car backing out of the parking lot when she came running out with my money. I was very appreciative of that. Another plus is that it’s less than 4 minutes from home. Maybe I will be back for that manicure after all.

Amazing! Call ahead, they’re busy! They take their time with awesome attention to detail! The hot stone pedicure was a fabulous treat! My toes have rarely looked so good!!! I’ll be back for sure!

Atmosphere is great. Everything is brand new and feels very clean! There are a ton of manicure and pedicure stations, so my friends and I didn’t have to wait long for a walk-​in appointment. Maybe 10 minutes. I was excited for some pampering, and enjoyed a complimentary mimosa during my wait.
The actual experience was not so great. The technician doing my manicure told me my nails were very delicate and then proceeded to be rough with them. The type of nail file was very hard and tore up the skin near some of my nails — still sore a few days later. She also cut my cuticles back too far and they bled. Not a very relaxing experience. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Went yesterday for the first time and really liked my experience there. Everyone was very friendly and they took their time with the services– I had the hot stone pedicure with sugar scrub for $ 27 (good deal). My technician was Tammy and she was very good. She also did a shellac manicure $ 25 and took the time to perfectly get all the cuticles and was so kind and friendly. I for sure will be back and I will recommend this place to others.

I went here my first time for a fill and my nails came out amazing the service was great love how clean it is and everyone is very friendly. I went back the next day for a shellac pedi and once again great experience. I found my new nail salon!

Very cute place ! Clean and well decorated. Offers a nice variety of complimentary beverages. The staff is very sweet! They have a really good selection of colors.

People should cut this place some slack! This salon recently opened, and it is one of the most beautiful ones that I’ve been to. A few reviews say the prices were quoted wrong though they do have a menu with the prices online, (if you could look up their number to call in, then also look at the menu, simple. Also, it’s a fairly new business with newer employees learning techniques and services daily, so although it may be a few bucks off, they are trying their best to learn everything, no need to give a bad rating to a small business.
I also would like to include that the place offers so many colors, and endless designs to ask for. They have a cute little princess chair for children and snacks and drinks are available without charge upon request! Give this salon a chance to settle in and they will not disappoint!

I had a similar experience where the price quoted over the phone was wrong. They charged my children as though they were adults. I was also cut on the toe cuticle which bled everywhere.

NEW, CLEAN and friendly staff. They did a great job on my nails and it’s been over two weeks and they still look good! I will going back for sure! They have nice touch by giving you a beverage while getting your nails done. NICE PLACE AND GREAT WORK!!!

I work in the area and gave them a call to do a price check on a shellac polish change, they quoted me $ 15 which is typical from place to place. I showed up to get my nails done, the girl sat me down with no greeting. I very sweetly proceeded to ask her what brand of shellac they use, she looked at mea somewhat annoyed and said «i don’t know». My response was «could you please find out for me?» she walked to the back, grabbed a polish and placed it in front of me. didnt say a word. Made me a little uncomfortable. Then when she sat down she said «i know you just called but its actually $ 20 today since you already have polish on» :/​i think this is bad business practice. No pricing posted. Changing a quote. having a bad attitude when you are a new business makes clients feel very uncomfortable. I would have given this company a 1 star but i gave it a 2 because its beautiful on the inside.

They do a great job! This is the second time I’ve been there and both times I’ve really enjoyed it! Complimentary beverage is really nice but most importantly my nails are simply beautiful and lasted the 3 – 4 weeks since my last visit.
It’s beautiful inside, close to home, & not too expensive! They’re a bit busy but that’s expected with a new opening and offering a discount.

Progress Nails is great! They have somewhere around 300 different colors of shellac to choose from (candy store!!!) I have received shellac manicures and a pedicure here. The hot rock massage during the pedicure is amazing! The staff is friendly and listens carefully in order to give you awesome service. All of the prices for their services are clearly listed on an easy-​to-​read sign on an interior wall. They also offer complimentary beverages including margaritas and champagne (excellent!)!!! This is also a brand new salon so it’s beautiful, clean, and bright inside. Also conveniently located at Progress Ridge near Murrayhill. No appointments necessary, so stop in!!!

Sad to right this review as I had high hopes for this shinny new salon walking distance from my house. I went in for a gel manicure 3 days ago and most of my nails are already chipped. The girl was very nice and I will say the complimentary drink options is a nice touch however my gel polish was applied way too thin (I went for red and with two coats you can still see through it) and one of my cuticles was cut so that it bled. The water for soaking my fingers was cold not even semi warm. With the grand opening 20% off discount (it went down from 30% off to 20% off at some point) I paid $ 24 with tip and it just wasn’t even worth that much. I will definitely continue going to my favorite salon just slightly farther away (Scholls and 125^th)

I’ve only been one time (they just opened) but I loved the quality of their work and the comfort of their spa. My pedi and shellac mani were top notch — they even helped me pick colors (I’m terrible at it) that I adore! Super friendly, great chairs, great color selection. I’m not easy to please when it comes to nail salons so this is up there with my faves!
