Simbco provides consulting, design, and development services to businesses of all sizes, as well as agency support. For clients without in-​house development teams, we do offer the full suite of Agency services including Design, Development, Optimization and Socialization of Software. Our expertise includes web and print design, business branding, web for desktop and mobile, native mobile (app-​store availability of iOS, Android, Amazon, and Microsoft), and social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, Yelp).

For those who don’t necessarily «speak geek», here’s what Simb & Company will do for you in plain english: we will design, build, and launch your website that works on desktop and mobile devices, we will set up your e-​commerce site to sell your products online, we will unify your branding across all of your social media sites and tailor your site’s keywords to help your site show up in online search results, or we will build a custom app for you! Bottom line is — if you can dream it, we can build it!

History

Established in 2011.

After spending 4 years leading the web development projects for a local agency, Simeon Bateman (our founder) took a full time job as the Director of IT for a local Portland business in 2003. After a couple of years in that leadership role he found he missed the challenges associated with creating applications to solve small business needs. In an effort to satisfy that yearning, as well as to keep current with new development practices, he began taking on small development projects outside of his full time job. The projects Simeon took on reminded him of how much he enjoyed writing software to help businesses solve problems with software. In an effort to help more companies, Simeon became a Certified Adobe Flex Instructor in 2006 and started teaching classes and consulting on the Adobe Flash Platform. In mid 2008 Simeon left his full time job to pursue building his company full time. In 2011 SimB & Company became the official DBA and is the name that goes on our official documentation.

As Founder of SimB & Company, Simeon has made a career solving his client’s problems as his own. He has been dedicated to providing small to medium-​sized businesses and agencies with amazing solutions for their web/​app design and development needs for more than a decade. Simeon is committed to sharing the information he has learned to encourage effective development techniques and strengthen the developer community as a whole.
