The girls are lazy, lack customer service and are just rude. The guys Do an alright job except when they clean the white board where they slide the subs, all the crumbs and stuff go back in the veggies! Wipe it off to the floor!!! I saw this both times iv gone.

On Wednesday June 26 my boyfriend and I decided to spend his lunch break at Subway on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway, to start off the visit we approached a nameless male employee(no name tag), we could barely hear him in the busy location and told him our order. He started by toasting my boyfriends sandwich without the cheese on it, after my boyfriend let the next employee know there was no cheese, they proceeded to put cheese on the bread and toast it again. After we finally get our sandwiches(there is no spinach) my boyfriend realized he could not eat the rock hard bread and asked the employee if he could have another sandwich, he said«fine». Nameless employee proceeds to make the incorrect sandwich and announces this to the rest of the staff who all proceed to laugh. I then approached the staff and asked for all 3 their names and the manager’s phone number. The employee says hold on and returns with the manager. My boyfriend and I are waiting at our table while the manager cleans up a spill on the ground and then pushes the overflowing garbage with her hand to put the napkins from the spill in. My boyfriend approaches her and asks if she is the manager. She says yes, and he asks if she knows what is going on. She then says«yeah, we made you three sandwiches and it still isn’t right». My boyfriend is shocked by her reaction but proceeds to tell her what was going on, while he is telling her, she is wiping down dirty tables with her hands(that she just pushed the garbage down with) and pushing in chairs. I tell my boyfriend from our table to ask for the district manager’s name because she obviously does not care. She proceeds to tell us that she, Jen Coleman, is the district manager. She then asks us to go outside the store to discuss our«complaint», we did not raise our voices once mind you. We then go outside and she tells us that we are attacking her, we explain to her that we are extremely frustrated at how we are being treated by her staff and how she obviously does not care. She tells us «there was a spill on the ground, do you want people to fall», I responded with«why are you in the back when there is a spill, full lobby, overflowing garbage and angry customers», she tells me «inventory». I ask her for her boss’ contact information, she tells me that she can’t give that out, I offer her the suggestion to take down our information and have her boss contact us, I also request for her to return our money. She tells me «if I didn’t care I wouldn’t give you your money back». I have never experienced such outrageous«service». I hope for the sake of the Subways she«runs» that something is done about Jen Coleman.

I’m not saying this is the best restaurant I’ve been to but it is definitely the best Subway I’ve been to. Freshest bread an ingredients, not too crowded and the staff was super friendly.

I don’t normally review fast food places, but this Subway is by far the best I’ve been to in the Portland area and I thought it deserved a little recognition… it’s always clean inside, the employees are friendly and they make great sandwiches. Unlike many Subway locations they consistently portion out the right amount of ingredients and spread them out evenly on your sandwich. I can’t believe how many other locations can’t even manage to get that right. Their bread is almost always perfectly baked, and the one time it wasn’t they were considerate enough to warn me so I could pick another variety. I actually go out of my way to go here because it’s that much better than other locations. It’s obvious that the employees actually care about customer satisfaction and it’s what keeps me coming back when I need a quick bite to eat.
