Renting High end designer wedding accessories to the brides who would not budge on quality (wedding belts, sashes, veils, hair accessories, jewelry, lace boleros and jackets, mink stoles, etc).
Designers: Monique L’Huillier, Toni Federici, Homa Bridal, Erica Koesler, Haute Bride, Maria Elena, Paris, Tia Mazza, Chanel, — are just to name a few).
Standard practice: 80 percent of the item’s retail price is required as security deposit. Upon safe return of accessory, the refund is issued. With very little exception, you end up paying around 30 percent of the item’s retail price to enjoy the high end designer item (s) on Your One and Only Very Special Day :-)!
1. I do not charge sales tax
2. You do not have to worry about waiting weeks for the bridal store to fill the order
3. You do not have to think about reselling your accessories after you are done with them (you have more important things, like your DH and honeymoon to enjoy ;-)
4. You get a lifetime to enjoy your pictures ;-)
History
Established in 2009.
Marrying young and broke in 1995, I remember the feeling of not being able to afford the wedding of my dreams. Having to sacrifice on quality, I had to stick to specific budget. The wedding dress, the veil, the tiara.
I would only wear them for one day, yet anything of decent quality would require months of hard work and saving, saving, saving.
I shopped around. There were gorgeous Swarowski decorated veils and tiaras, yet anything that would satisfy my high end taste, would be soo out of my reach financially.
Now, 15 years later, I look back at my wedding pictures and sooo wish that I could have and would have rented the items of my dreams (instead of buying some low quality immitation out right ;-)
By the way, after thinking that I would hold on to my things for the rest of my life, I got tired of shuffling them around for 15 years, and ended up donating them.
I hope to save brides money NOW and regrets down the line LATER.
