I have found that the older I get, the more complicated my taxes get. I’ve been doing mine online for years now with TurboTax but I just never know if I am making an error or missing out on part of your return. This year I decided to go to a professional. Not many CPAs in the Beckley area have websites, and out of the ones that do, Mr. Shepherd’s was the most professional. I contacted his office and spoke with him over the phone to «interview» him to see if I felt comfortable having him manage my taxes. He was straight-​forward and knowledgeable and won me over. Two weeks later we sat down for a meeting in his office and he answered every question I had. Less than two weeks after that he had completed my (out-​of-​state) return and federal return. I am very happy overall and look forward to working with him again.
