Dartmouth-​Hitchcock (D-​H) is a nonprofit academic health system that serves a patient population of 1.9 million in New England. Across the D-​H system, we annually have more than 1.7 million outpatient visits, perform nearly 20,000 surgeries, discharge more than 25,000 patients, and care for 31,000 emergency visits in our Lebanon emergency department. Our physicians and researchers collaborate with Geisel School of Medicine scientists and faculty and other leading healthcare organizations to develop new treatments at the cutting edge of medical practice bringing the latest medical discoveries to the patient.
