Um hello. This is my favorite Chinese take out EVER. If I cant eat Chinese here(because they have kind of odd hours) then its just no Chinese food that day guys. ITSJUSTTHATGOOD. Its been around for years… since I was like in the 6th grade. I know this because my childhood friends and I used to eat their sweet and sour chicken back in 1996 on Friday nights at slumber parties. BOOMBABY! My favorites are the sweet and sour chicken(still), the egg rolls(to die!), vegetable lo mein and/or fried rice(hold the celery and green pepper please) and my hubby loves their beef lo mein. They are super accommodating with their orders and are very knowledgeable about what comes in which dish when you talk to the employees on the phone, which is nice. They never have to run and ask a question, they just always know! Fresh Wok is carry out or delivery only. They«bring the wok to your door» Don’t forget the hot mustard and duck sauce! YUMMO! …i’m getting hungry!

I’ve been ordering the chicken fried rice from Fresh Wok for over 10 years. The lunch special pick-up price is crazy cheap and the CFR is crazy good. Honestly, I’ve never ordered anything else from Fresh Wok. Egg roll and a huge box of CFR, it’s the best go-to meal around for under $ 5. The guys running the place have never been exceptionally nice, but that’s OK as long as the food is good. I mean, it’s not a sit down restaurant, it’s a Chinese take-out. I personally don’t need a smile when the food is this good and this cheap. I also like to watch the guys cooking the food right behind the counter. Nothing like a good Chinese take-out, wok-fueled assembly line. Trust in the chicken fried rice!!!

Fresh Wok is amazing. They have the best hot and sour soup and their Orange beef is delicious. Food is always delivered on time with huge portions to feed a family. Best Chinese restaurant in town.

Been going to this place for many years. It’s great if you want a good, quick, relatively-inexpensive take-out or delivery item. Some of their items are good, some not so good. Biggest complaint is that they tend to skimp on spices. So food doesn’t have as much flavor as at other Chinese places. But it’s good, fresh, and good portions. Their chicken and pork products are good. Beef tends to be fatty. Sweet & sour chicken is excellent! Large pieces of lean, white meat chicken, and huge portion. Their chicken fried rice pick-up special is awesome! $ 4 for a HUGE portion of fresh-made chicken fried rice. Also love their cho-cho beef(beef on a stick). They marinate it perfectly. Wonderful appetizer. Shrimp with lobster sauce is good; moo goo gain pain is good; moo-shu anything is good. LOVE their chicken chow mein and their lo mein. Cashew chicken: stay away from. Almost all cashews and celery with very little dark meat chicken, and no flavor. Their soups are usually good. Sometimes they’re off and have little flavor. Egg rolls are terrible. In general, if you’re looking for good, fresh food at a good price that might not be as flavorful as at other places, but it still good, this is your place. Have been there for about 20 years already, so that’s saying something.

Love the chicken friend rice special for $ 3.95! It’s an amazing deal, other prices are pretty fair too, the chicken sticks are great! The sodas are cheaper than other Chinese places. Great place for take out!

For the third time in a row our take out order was wrong !!! Glad I checked it this last time. And then one of the guys argues with me. We enjoy the food when it is right but cannot afford to keep driving back to get the right order !! Not worth the aggravation and $$ Suggestion to people working there READ the order before packing the bags. Will NOT be back !!!

I have to say that I was happy with how prompt they were to bring my food but then I had their sesame chicken and I asked for it to be spicy and it wasn’t. Then the chicken didn’t even taste like chicken. It tasted like bread that was fried. It was mushy in the inside. Not much chicken in it. Also the egg roll was awful. I should of stuck to my gut and ordered from Euless Wok. They are so much better.

Please find attached pictures for the proof. The delivery took 1 hour and 20 minutes. That’s okay if the food is worth 1 hour and 20 minutes of cooking. However, I found burned marks on the plastic(yes, the takeout box) container. Even worse, in the middle of eating my fried rice, I found small string of metal. It’s curly and elastic, yes, it is A PIECEOFMETALKITCHENSPONGE. I almost puked and dumped out the rest of the my fried rice. I am never ordering from this place again and hope they learn their lessons and keep their place and cooking wares clean.

The best Asian take-out /delivery that i’ve found in the area! Having said that — it’s still a far cry from Asian food you get in NYC /Wash. DC, but for Mid Cities, TX — it’s been consistently decent quality food the times I have been there. HUGE portions … a plus, and fairly low prices have made this my go to when I’m in the mood for Chinese. Combo fried rice and wings are pretty good! The comments about excessive breading are accurate(on the Sweet n Sour chicken /pork) … So i’d steer away from those. Quick and fast when you order it to go, and pretty good delivery time the few times i’ve ordered delivery. It’s worth a try if you’re craving some decent Chinese.

Every dish is made fresh, served to go only and did I mention hot? You can stand and watch them cook it infront of you. The prices are very good, because with every dish they will serve you enough for two, no matter how big of an eater you are, you will not be hungry after a meal from here. They do deliver but I never had experience with that. I live 20 miles away, but I will come here often.

Large portions with lots of batter on everything. Sesame Chicken has 6 pieces, each the size of baseballs that are impossible to cut into smaller pieces due to all the batter. Egg drop soup would be amazing IFNOTFORALLTHECORNINIT! Best part of my $ 18 meal was the fortune cookie!

Ordered a shrimp dish and Orange Beef and both were delicious. Online ordering was very convenient and user friendly. We were disappointed that we couldn’t swap out the white or brown rice for fried rice for an additional charge. The delivery time was a little long(one hour) so be sure to order before you are actually hungry. The portion sizes were really big, enough for two meals. The delivery menu states that there is free delivery and I am 0.6 miles away, so walking distance. Yet, I was charged a $ 3 delivery charge. Regardless of the additional charge, we were satisfied enough with the overall experience and will order from them in the future.

Growing up in the mid-cities, this was my go-to place for fast, good, and cheap Chinese food. It isn’t the most gourmet or unique establishment, of course, but sometimes you want some plain ol’ MSG-filled-perfect-for-leftovers fried rice, lo mein, and sweet and sour chicken! Fresh Wok has a colossal menu with all your favorites. I’m intrigued by some of their more unusual soups, like crab meat & corn chowder or chicken velvet… hmmm. My family would always put together a huge order of the most popular items; fried rice, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, and something Szechuan! You should try to be a little more adventurous than we are and really give their menu a good read-through. One time, I called Fresh Wok to ask about how they made their fried rice. Most soy sauce has wheat in it(tamari does not), and although I assumed Fresh Wok’s fried rice wouldn’t be gluten free, I wanted to double check just in case. I called and inquired, «Does your soy sauce have wheat in it?» They said, «Meat?! No!» I reply, «haha, no, no. Not meat. Wheat! Like… bread.» Then they answered, «No ma’am, our soy sauce does not have bread in it!» It wasn’t the most fruitful discussion, but I thought it was pretty funny. For now, I’m steering clear of the fried rice and will just stick with the steamed! Fresh Wok’s staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. Plus, they deliver! OR, you can pick-up your food yourself. This isn’t a sit down restaurant, it’s made for you to enjoy at home. Fresh Wok will put together your order incredibly fast, so leave after you hang up the phone(unless its crazy-busy and they tell you to wait 15 minutes). The best part is, you aren’t going to spend much and you’re going to looooove your food. I totally recommend it!

It was hot. It was food. The staff was friendly. was it the best I have had? no. No indeed it was not. Seemed heavy on the salt, really heavy on the salt.
