I’ve been here twice for goalie pad repair. The first time things were fine and the repairs were really well done. It’s been almost two years and the things they fixed then have stayed fixed. However this time the woman at the counter was brusque 10% of the time and downright rude the remaining 90%. You don’t have time to do a repair, fine, I get it. But I wasn’t given the chance to ask if or when that might change. Instead I was completely written off in favor of other customers after being told that«duct tape works great for that». Then, despite waiting around in the hopes of getting a word in, I couldn’t even get her to look at me again. I’m sorry I don’t want to duct tape equipment that cost almost as much as my rent when it was new. I honestly don’t know if I would come back here I felt so completely blown off.

Great local hockey shop. We’ve been going here for years. Great service. The only place we will ever get our skates sharpened.

Saw this ad and distinctive name and had to smile… Back in the day Homer was the BEST in skate craft! His sharpenings were just so much betta… My first good pair of hockey skates were Planets and he fitted ’em and sewed on floating tendon guard. Old school enuf for ya?

I’ve come here to repair my hockey skates a couple of times and to get them sharpened. These people really know what they’re doing. The best sharpenings I’ve had are from here. If you need work on skates, I highly recommend this place.
