When I was drowning, she threw me a rope. Now one year later, she is still holding that rope… encouraging and uplifting me every session. I had a few therapists before I finally found my way to Linda. She is very different than any other therapist I have ever seen. Linda is highly knowledgable about psych meds. She actually called my psych doctor and discussed my case and the best medical treatment for me! She went to doctor’s office on her off day to meet my nurse practitioner! She has went above and beyond the call of duty for me everytime… we rarely meet medical professionals like her anymore. She is a breath of fresh air. With that being said, she is no soft touch. I have fell apart crying on her couch many times. But once the crying is over, she insists on an action plan. Small steps that I can take daily, weekly, and monthly to get healthier. In my opinion, she has a 2-step approach to mental health 1st step. The right meds(if necessary) 2nd step. Behaviors-making small changes in your behavior to achieve the desired result. I have had my share of ups and downs even since I have been seeing Linda. But I can say this, every time I sit on her couch I walk away feelings encouraged and I have a list of steps to take in order to return to sanity. She is ALWAYS in my corner fighting for me… she’s a true blessing.
