Looks like this place has a «cult» following. You either love or hate it. Me personally, I hated it. The reasons: 1. The FOOD: Greasy, bland and sub-par. I way go on a limb and say even a Domino’s or Pizza Hut pie is more flavorful than the Veggie Pizza I ate here. 2. Ambiance: Straight from the 80s. Dull, dirty and run down. I quiver to image what the hygiene standards would be in the kitchen. The customer facing ovens are dirty and covered in a layer of grease. 3. Service: Nothing to talk about. Was ignored for a good two minutes before someone bothered to ask what I wanted. Despite two guys standing right behind the main counter. 4. Location: A true hole in the wall. If you blink, you will miss it. Well, others have complained about the cash only practice. I don’t want to harp on the same. BUT, clearly the owners are trying to make a quick buck. By strategically placing an ATM right by the payment counter. With a hefty ATM withdrawal fee. Stay away from this place if you are looking for a satisfying piece of pie.

Our family eats here(and I do all the time at lunch for work). Simple Greek pizza /subs — but these guys do them EXCELLENT. Friendly guys behind counter, always quick to cook your order. Meatball sub is my personal favorite, toasted with just the right amount of delicious sauce.

Steve’s has great pizza! Hey, don’t stop at the pizza because these guys have a serious menu available. I’ve had several dishes here and they have never failed me. Remember, they are cash only, my only downside for them. Come On Steve’s… get a card reader!

The pizza is very good and at a great price. Service was fast and very friendly. Pizzas are only available in large or small. Wish they had a medium size available. Liked the Greek style crust and the toppings under the cheese was a nice change.

We are from CT and have had some of the best pizza ever. Steve’s is really good. They put the toppings under the cheese which we hardly ever see in CT. It is cash only but again being in CT we have a lot of places that have cash only,. So it is no sweat off our backs. We will go here again if we are in the area. It is really good.

Cash only?! The pizza is very disappointing. I love greek crust pizza, but this was horrible. The pizza was very undercooked and doughy. Ingredients were your basic pre-cooked and delivered in a big bag from the food distributor. The pizza place is very very tired. I’m sure this place was great once, but it needs some love. I am sure that being across from the homeless shelter has not helped their enthusiasm for making pizza.

The service was friendly and the service was fast. Cash only? They have an atm conveniently located by the front register. Nice! Just add a fee of $ 2.75. Okay, I’m pissed now. Hope this is the best pizza EVER! Nope… frozen dough… Yuck! Would have been better off getting a frozen pizza and sticking it in the oven. Will never go back.

Grew up on Steve’s, the best part of my new job is that it is right around the corner. Best crust in the world. Toppings under the cheese is the best!

I’ve been eating at Steve’s literally since I was 4 years old. I’m 25 now. This place makes some of my favorite pizza ever! The eggplant parm subs are also amazing. Definitely one of the best pizza/sub places in the area.

Food is very average and they have a very ignorant staff. They also don’t accept credit cards but they coincidentally have an atm so you have no choice but to pay a fee to take out cash. Thumbs down.

My friend and I are here for the week and are trying out pizza places in the local area. We stopped by here after seeing it driving down the road. We were going to just get slices, but they only had two and those were kept under a pizza box cover on top of the stove for who knows how long so we ordered a large pepperoni instead. Cook time was fast, 10 mins, enough time for me to run to the ATM since they don’t take debit. What I didn’t know(and now do thanks to the reviews on Unilocal) is that the pizza here is of the Greek Style. I’ve never had greek pizza before, but I can say I’m not a fan. The crust is very buttery, and flakey, like a croissant, and the pizza is greasy and oily. The flavor was typical; not bad, but not really impressive. If a greasy, flakey, buttery pizza sounds good to you then I can recommend this, but if you’re more a fan of the New York style pizza then I recommend that you go somewhere else.

Love Steve’s pizza, best Greek salad dressing I’ve ever had anywhere — we always get extra dressing, it’s amazing. Their pizza is delicious too. Haven’t tried much else, so I can’t comment on the subs and such — but get a salad, you won’t regret it. This is mainly a take out pizza place. They do have seating, but you’ll be more comfortable at home.

The best salad you will ever have is the Grilled Chicken Salad with«house dressing». I have no idea how they make the homemade dressing, but I would like to buy a 5 gallon bucket please.

I love pizza. Let me say that again: I LOVEPIZZA. And I love Steve’s! I didn’t know that my pizza preference was a certain«style» of pizza. There’s thin crust… there’s thick crust… and then there’s Greek pizza [and other categories of pizza that do not matter at the moment]! Oh goodness, so delicious. Let me explain. I grew up in Central MA where my favorite pizza place was Uncle Sam’s(very similar to Steve’s, minus the placement of toppings). Then I moved to Texas for a year… and let me tell you, I could not find a good pizza place anywhere near me!!! — Note, I’m not a huge fan of the chain pizza places. And then my S.O. introduced me to Steve’s. Oh delicious Steve’s. The only very insignificant thing I dislike about Steve’s is how they place their toppings [under the cheese] – only because I love pepperoni pizza and prefer the pepperoni to be a bit crispy! No matter, their crust, sauce, and cheese are just to die for. Their chicken parm subs are also pretty good. I have not tried anything else. Oh and the guys behind the counter are so nice! Not in the super-friendly always smiling kind of nice, which comes off kind of fake. They are just down to earth kind of guys and always consistent! We call in our order, hop in the car, and by the time we arrive it’s DONE. FYI. If you like right out the oven, piping hot pizza… I recommend eating inside instead of picking it up. I didn’t think their pizza could get any better until my S.O. and I decided to eat there instead of taking it home. [Salivating]

Steve’s in Bedford offers up simply THEBEST greek-style pizza you can find! And I don’t mean greek-flavored pizza with feta cheese and olives. I’m talking about the buttery, thick crust, mild sauce and magical blend of not-just-mozzarella cheese. Reminds me of Connecticut style pizza when I was a kid. This is real, great Greek pizza. And there is nothing else quite like it. Also they make THEBEST meatball subs and INCREDIBLE grilled chicken salads with DELICIOUS homemade Greek dressing. The prices are totally affordable and the service is great — they have a «place order» line and a «pick up order» line so you get your food fast, hot and friendly. I had been a regular here for many years and the quality and consistency is what keeps me coming back. There literally is not one thing on the menu that disappoints. TRYIT.

Ohhhhh how I love Steve’s. I guess I’m a fan of «Greek» pizza, cause I hate nearby papa Gino’s. Greasy, cheesy yummmy!!! I love their crust its crispy and has a great flavor. The Greek salads are pretty basic they come with a big hunk of feta cheese and a side of Syrian bread, really good gyros and their chicken kabobs sandwiches are also excellent. Only thing I don’t like about Steve’s is that it is a cash only establishment. Really friendly service. but it is a takeout place only.

Good pizza with Greek crust. Nice low price. Quick service. Mostly a take out business. Ambiance leaves a little to be desired.

This is mt first time here. My opinion: I sure will come here again. :) As said by another Unilocaler this is for sure a hidden jewel. Customer service was good. Food was great and the place(to sit & eat) is OK. It would be nice to have the place little more clean, but there is nothing to worry about. I had a chicken kabob sandwich on a sub and it is good. The kabob is really good but the bread can do better. You can also chose a Pita Bread. The price is very reasonable and the portions are very generous. A large chicken kabob sandwich was $ 6 and I could not complete the whole thing. Their Baklava was also very good. A large full square(two halves) is $ 2.50 and I think that is a steal for that taste and portion. I do not know why this restaurant is rated under«$$» menu. I would for sure put this in a «$» menu. I am leaving this place with a 4-star, since this is the only visit I had so far. I will update about the place after a couple of more visists which I am sure hoping to do.
