I would definitely recommend this place for massages. I had Amanda and she did a wonderful job on me. My muscles are always hurting me and i she did magic and i am not feeling any pain! She is very knowledgeable and can transform your aching body into a pain free mode!

My wife and i both decided to try this out. Her therapist was not good, and she ended up having back pain for a week. I liked mine (Juan) so decided to give the monthly membership a shot. He alone definitely gets a 5 star for his service and expertise.
Then i decided to cancel my membership as I was not able to take the time out for it due to other commitments. They canceled it and I was told I still had one credit for a one hour massage for the last payment that went through. Due to some personal events, I was occupied for a few months and forgot about it. When i called back they told me that the credit was expired and there is nothing they can do about it. They checked with the ‘manager’ and left me a voicemail to state the same thing. If you can send text messages and emails to members about their appointments, how hard is it to send one for an expiring credit as a reminder? Come on now. That is just basic customer service and that too for something i had already paid $ 50 for.
Very disappointed, will not be going back to any Hand & Stone.

All of these 5 stars go to my massage therapist and esthetician Kurt… I have been seeing him for months now! He takes care of me not only with my aches and pains but also my skin… Thank you Kurt for being such a bad ass!!!:)

Kurt was my therapist for my facials and he is amazing. Totally recommend him. The staff is friendly and accommodate your schedule and make you feel welcome and pampered.
I moved from Peru 4 years ago and same outstanding quality treatment can be obtain at a much less expense that’s why it’s difficult for me to understand American fees been so high but well the countries’ income is different but also the expenses.
Overall amazing spa and Kurt is the one to pick for an outstanding and detailed treatment.

I have been coming here for a while and absolutely LOVE it! Their monthly membership package makes me get my much needed self-​care time in and as a nurse that can sometimes be tough to do. Today I had Kurt, whom I’ve had before, and he was phenomenal. I needed a relaxation massage and he has mad massage skills in that department. Thank you SO much! Truly a life saver that will let me get through my week in a better frame of mind. His technique was very consistent which I really appreciate. A massage is so much nicer when the same things are done to both sides of the body and he was right on par. All the massage therapists I’ve experienced at the Bee Cave location have been wonderful but today I needed someone like Kurt and he came through for me. Thanks again and see you next time! Xxxooo

Juan is my therapist, & he does a great job. I have severe pain from an old accident, & he always helps me feel better & manage it. I also gave my husband a couples massage on Valentine’s Day, & he LOVED it. His therapist found some issues that had been bothering him & relieved a lot of his lower back & sciatic pain. Excellent service & very reasonably priced for members especially.

Let me start by saying that I use to have a membership at a different massage franchise for abt 2yrs. When I came into this location I was thinking the typical thoughts: get me in and out, cold rooms, so/​so therapist BUT what I received was a friendly, look-​you-​in-​your-​eye welcome followed by a refreshing cup of apple/​cinnamon water. Then I met Amanda H, let’s just say JELLO!!! She is wonderful! She also shares helpful tips to keep you tension free between massage treatments. I already have my next appointment booked!

Great location in the Bee Cave galleria area, parking was super easy. The staff was very professional. The waiting area was very soothing.
I had the 1hr massage + an add on scalp massage (+15min) but somehow managed only to get a 50min massage. Tell me how that math works out? I get that there’s a quick consult and changing time, but I’m not wearing 10 layers of clothing. It shouldn’t take anyone that long to get undressed. I felt a little ripped off. Yes on their site it says «Services include 50 minute hands-​on service and time allotted for dressing and consultation» so technically not an hour massage. Eh, whatever.
The massage therapists technique was wonderful! however really inconsistent. Which in the end was unfortunately distracting.
In the end I was neither impressed or upset so this is a solid 3 star.

This place does a great job. Very professional. Very welcoming. From reception all the way through the massage area, the place is well decorated and has a very upscale feel. Easy to rate the Hand and Stone of Bee Cave a 5. This is a high quality establishment and offers great value at $ 50 for an hour massage.
I gauge a good massage experience on a combination of it feeling a) high end while at the same time b) almost clinical in terms of the process. Hand and Stone captures those two requirements. Very much like you’d feel getting Physical Therapy from a 5 Star Hotel physician…
Now as to my masseuse… I give her 10 stars. Amanda is as good as it gets, if you like a strong massage. She literally had my knots rolling around as she worked them out. She was graceful and rough all at the same time. She is amazing. It is VERY obvious she is EDUCATED in the area of massage. You really need to experience it to believe it. She is so good about asking you if you want more or less pressure. She also knew exactly where my tension was without me saying a word.
If I had the financial ability, I’d hire her exclusively!
So there you have it. Go try it out. I am pretty critical when it comes to reviews. I tend not to post negative reviews because I hate to be negative. But when someone does something exceptional, like the Business and the Masseuse in this instance, they deserve to be recognized for those actions and rewarded by increased business.

I had an absolutely fabulous massage on Christmas Eve… just what was needed to help with the craziness of the holiday season. Thanks Hand & Stone for helping me relax, restore, and refresh!

I had the best massage of my life today! I am apprehensive about massage places that have memberships, and I have been to places that do the same exact thing each time, like a paint by numbers type of thing. I actually had one of those massages last time I went to H&S.
However, today was amazing! I had an extremely talented therapist, Lynnly. When she first came out I thought, «She is a middle aged woman. She’s not going to be aggressive enough to really give me the sports massage I signed up for.» However, she was amazing! She found all the muscles that were bothering me and worked them out. She had a very good knowledge base of the connections between muscle groups and spent a lot of time making certain she was making a positive change!
I highly recommend Lynnly and Hand and Stone!

I was so pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this spa! I’ve worked for 5 star destination spa resorts for 30 years and wasn’t really expecting much — but can honestly say that the ambiance, the staff and the services were as good as if not better than any of the spas where I’ve worked. Very professional, friendly, warm, welcoming and very gifted massage therapists. I’ve had 2 massages (Laura and Kurt) and 2 facial treatments (both with Maddy) so far and will keep going back. I took advantage of the first time client deal and got a massage and facial. I was pleased with both the esthetician and the massage therapist. They were both thorough, skilled, and friendly.
While I have a regular esthetician that I visit, I wouldn’t mind returning to Melissa. I also would return for another massage from Laura.
Nice staff and yummy strawberry, basil water in the lobby. I felt relaxed in their rooms too, even though there wasn’t a lounge area besides the front lobby area.

I love this place! Jeremy gives a good, deep tissue massage. He is very intuitive. I am very happy with the warm reception I receive.

The customer service is excellent. I have yet to have a service I didn’t like! LOVE THIS business! Great addition to this area!

Okay I have hit all over the map on the reviews of this place, where we have a membership. The first visit was «okay.» I asked for a guy with strong hands — we ended up in the couple’s room, which I liked. My wife ended up with the guy and I had waif girl — I kept saying, «Harder…» no really, «harder!» ha. It was okay but we bought a membership thereafter. My next visit was with Philip. He bent and twisted me in ways that were unnatural, ways that I could only have achieved by some horrible accident — but it was good and I liked him.
So now our third visit is where it gets interesting. I made an appointment for my wife and me. The couple’s room was booked so I took back-​to-​back visits — 5 — 6 and 6 — 7. The night before my wife received a confirmation phone call. I anticipated this all day, left work early, drug my wife out early to ensure we got to Bee Cave on time. 4:45 we arrive. They cannot find our appointment. The manager tells me it was canceled. By whom I ask? «By you according to our notes.» Well it went south from there. They had already booked someone else into my appointment — that person was not there. She could get us in from 6 — 7 and 7 — 8. My two hour night was now a 3 hour night. I was pissed and walked out. I returned and begrudgingly took the appointments. In the hour we had to waste — we drank beer from a local establishment and I decided to get our two appointments out of the way and then I would cancel the membership… oh, they already said they would comp the appointment, so I was taking my free appointment and then canceling.
My wife decided I should go first. Jason was my therapist — it was good. It relaxed me and by the time I finished I was more calm. So I go out to pay for my wife’s appointment only to find that they gave us both appointments. The manager, Brittany apologized again and then stated, «I should have bumped the other person, especially since you were already here.» I was completely disarmed. The owner then came over, introduced himself, apologized and helped us out more. I was completely disarmed — pissy bad mood over.
Now, days later I came home to find a handwritten letter from the person who actually canceled my appointment further explaining and apologizing. I feel bad that I even got upset with them but tremendously glad that I never yelled or demanded anything from them. I was angry and had simply decided that I would go elsewhere but they stepped up, did the right thing without me having to pitch a fit, which completely changed my attitude. Had I jumped up and down, yelled and acted ugly and then they did those things — it simply would have felt like I had pressured them into good customer service — instead they did it on there own which makes it feel genuine.
I appreciate these people…
