I would give a negative star but it won’t let me write a review without one. This restaurant is by far one of the most appalling establishments I have been too. While waiting for my order at the counter I could hear the owner belittling his employees. These employees couldn’t be older than high school students. My food was mediocre but WILLNOT return due to the negative atmosphere the owner has obviously created.

I have to say I am very upset with the service and inconsistent pizza at Tonys. We have ordered several times due to the limited food choices in Beecher, and sometimes the pizza is fantastic, and at other times the pizza was burnt. Also, the menu advertises wrong open hours and the staff is somewhat unfriendly and defiantly is not eager to please their customers. I would advise everyone to pass on Tonys and to get McDonalds instead. Not worth the gamble, the price, or the unhappy taste buds

When I got the pizza home it was burnt, the crust was horrible, and I woke up sick in the middle of the night. THEONLYREASONTHEYAREGETTINGBUSINESSISBECAUSETHEY’RETHEONLYPIZZERIAINBEECHER. One time I went there, I ordered a cheeseburger, when I got home and bit into it, part of the meat was still pink. So, I decided to give them a second chance and ordered a pizza. I guess they failed again! I WILLNEVERGOAGAIN!

Tony’s Pizza is a Beecher institution. This place has a personal relationship with about 75% of its customers. This means I know that if the broaster has been shut down I’m not ordering chicken and thats not a big deal to me. It may seem odd to some people but thats just how it is for a small town joint like this. With that out of the way, Tony’s sandwiches are very good, they don’t really have the best anything but nothing here is bad. I personally love their chicken wraps with Tony’s amazing house dressing. Make sure you get an order of «spicy”(seasoned) fries to go with any sandwich. Now for the pizza, I love Tony’s pizza. The sauce isn’t as sweet as a lot of chicago pizza and they never scrimp on toppings. I don’t care for sausage in general but Tony’s in known for their sausage pizza and even I can tell its really good. You simply can’t beat the price. A small cheese pizza is 9» and comes in at under $ 7. This makes buying a frozen pizza in beecher a ridiculous notion. A quick note about their catering. Having lived in Beecher most of my life I’ve been to dozens upon dozens of events catered by Tony’s and its always a solid choice. Chicken(don’t be scared off by the other reviewer.) Italian sausage, Italian beef, Mostaccioli etc. Really its almost pointless to write a review of Tony’s because almost everyone in Beecher and the neighboring towns knows this place, but I just couldn’t stand to see such a low rating because of one guy who came in too late.

First of all if you’re going to Beecher, Il. to find a good pizza from a dive restaurant that’s part of a mini-mart that has a gas station and a laundry facility, then you need to have your tounge scraped. To be fair I didn’t order the pizza, I ordered the broasted chicken which is in partnership with the WORST broasted chicken franchise EVER called(how’s this for creativity?) Broaster! is their website. I guess they partner with these hole-in-the-wall food joints in exchange for some kind of compensation. Anyway I order the chicken then I have to wait 20 – 25 minutes because the broiler had been shut down?! So I wait patiently while watching the Blackhawks game WITHOUTSOUNDORCLOSEDCAPTIONING, ANDIT’S GAME6INTHESTANLEYCUPPLAYOFFS!!! But I digress. I get my dinner… finally. I take it home and low and behold, the box that the meal is in is sooooooooooooo saturated with(old) grease that the bottom of the box litterally comes undone! Bad sign of what’s to come. Why is broasted chicken greasy in the first place?! For the benefit of the doubt let’s blame the(old) grease on the enclosed fries. These fries I swear to God were like chewing on rubber bullets! The grease was OLD! I guess the thinking is ‘it’s the end of the day and one of the LAST customers doesn’t deserve the same FRESHGREASETREATMENT that one of the FIRST customers of the day is treated to… even though my money is just as GREEN as theirs! So I pass on the inedible fries and go for the chicken. While the INSIDE of the chicken was barely tolerable, the coating of the chicken was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I don’t know what goes on inthis so-called Broasting process, but to me it tasted burnt or again(if there’s grease involved?) OLD! TERRIBLE! Hopefully Tony’s PIZZA is better than the rest of his menu, but if you’re going to put it ON your menu than you should make damn sure it’s every bit as good as your pizza, otherwise just don’t add it at all! Because now you have a disgruntled customer who would’ve given you future busines but instead is writing a scathing review of his experience to warn others of what they can expect from such an establishment.

I’m not from Chicagoland, so I have to admit that I am slightly bias when it comes to pizza… Can’t complain about this place though — service is great, prices are reasonable, and pizza is pretty darn good [even if it’s not from NY :) ]
