The Colorlab Academy of Hair

I found out about The Colorlab from Groupon. I needed a trim so I figured I’d try it out. My stylist, Jessica, was great! She gave me a nice scalp massage while giving me a wash, trimmed the ends, and blow dried my hair. I felt confident in her ability that I even asked if she would perform an underarm wax as well. Overall, I thought it was a great experience and would definitely go back again!

I have experienced cosmetology school, spa and dermatology clinic type of facials. With my wonderful experience frequenting a cosmetology school back in Los Angeles for a dermalogica facial, I figured I’d try this place. I went in for a $ 45 facial. The room disorganized. The blanket/​cover used for the bed was undone like someone was just laying on it, the room was disorganized. I believe that she used 4 different products to clean my face. Each product was wiped off with a sponge that she rinsed in a bowl. My issue was the water dripping off my cheeks, neck and thank goodness for the towel on top of the pillow. My hair wasn’t tucked in the headband so she had to remove my hair off my face a few times. One of the products used was a masque, white in color, I knew it because after the entire process was supposedly done, I walked away with white stuff on my left eyelid, dry masque on my eyebrow, upper lip and right around my nostril. Thank goodness the place had mirrors as I walked back to the main salon. Needless to say, I had to go to the restroom and wash/​wipe off the residue off my face. It was just very sloppy.
I was supposed to get my nails done but changed my mind. I can’t imagine how my nails with turn out. I canceled and took my $ 30 somewhere else.
