Purchased item through ebay store. Committed to buying, but emailed requesting to cancel, if possible. Didn’t receive a response until 2 days after order was made and was told it was too late since the item had shipped. I complained that although the shipping label was created, the item had not shipped and I would note that in seller feedback that it wasn’t addressed in a reasonable amount of time. Here is my original email to Short Stop Power Sports, Inc: «Dear shortstoppowersports, I know I committed to buying but wanted to see if I could catch you in time and if you would be willing to work with me. However, I will say that the order was processed immediately and shipping label created, but the product was not actually shipped until much later after the fact. I think there was plenty of time between when the product was actually shipped for you to get back to me either with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’. I don’t think using ‘it was already shipped’ is an excuse to not contact me back in a reasonable amount of time. I’ll take the hit, but won’t make any more purchases from you in the future. This is a good way to lose repeat buyers. I’ll be sure to note that in feedback. Thanks, Johnathan Received the following rude comments back from SSP President, Craig Gill: «I have to say I was quite surprised to see why I received this email for review and resolution, a customer is actually complaining and threatening our feedback because we shipped their order too fast??? Ordinarily I would say I’m sorry, in this case I will not. If you are going to get this twisted over a purchase under $ 5 and threaten us with leaving bad feedback and never doing business with us again; I have to say I really don’t want customers like you at all! Your claim and disregard for the eBay policies is unacceptable to say the least. It is customers like you that make a bad name for businesses like mine that work hard to do all the right things and get called down for it by people like you. Realize this, even if we would have caught your email prior to the package leaving our facility I personally would not have approved your request due to the fact that I have to pay someone I am passionate about my business and my customers, although I draw the line with customers like you with your ridiculous complaints and wasting not only my employees time, you have wasted my time as well to respond to such an absurd email and complaint! Do as you will, just make sure that you clearly understand eBay policy and our policies that are clearly written for individuals like yourself that have nothing better to do than complain about too good of service. In closing I hope you read what I have taken the time to communicate, although I have a feeling you won’t. I’m not sure if you had a bad day or what, at the end of the day you made a $ 5 purchase that you let get the best of you through your own free will of purchasing and having buyers remorse. Fact is, SSP President Gill is obviously out of line and complained I wasted his time but was able to type a very long message calling me names and being very, very immature. Stay away from this jerk and go to one of his competitors. It’s obvious he needs business badly to treat people this way, so take consideration before giving it to him. Regards, Johnathan
