We specialize in location-​based tools so customers can find your business. It’s critical that your data and location are optimized online and on smartphones, so customers can find you easily, quickly, and accurately.

We offer marketing and advertising services including DataMap Analysis, to analyze how your business appears on websites and search engines, as well as DataMap Information Development, to review and develop information that describes your business. We then correct your business location on all the map services by geo-​locating latitude and longitude coordinates for your business.

History

Established in 2008.

The LeClair’s owned and operated the Maine Coast Welcome Center on Rte 1 in Belfast for 5 years, listening to what 25,000 travelers annually needed to find Places to Stay, Places to Eat and Things to Do.

Jim remembers their first guest who said, «We couldn’t find that business. They’re not on our GPS! «At that moment the idea of Smart DataMap Services was born.

While most location services attempt to correct business locations from their metropolitan offices, Patti & Jim LeClair are «on the road» at clients sites ensuring their business location and descriptions are «On the Map.»

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

With over 20 years of field sales experience in Maine, the LeClairs expanded their reach to the eastern seaboard, producing campground guides for KOA campgrounds. They lived in a Motorhome, using the very first GPS devices to discover businesses.

During play time they combined Patti’s love for lighthouses with Jim’s interest in GPS to Geocache along the way. The LeClairs have Geocached since 2004.
