I took my 5 year old and the doctor tells me he doesn’t take kids that are cry babies. Then he tells me look at her. So I proceed to look at my daughter, and I tell him yes she’s crying, its her second time visiting a dentist. I ask what age range do you see he says 4 and up. I ask all the kids you’ve seen not one has cried? He says no! Then he tells me if you don’t like what I say go see another doctor. I tell him thank you have a great day.

Take it from a self-​proclaimed dentist pansy: this Dr. Pravin Desai is an amazing dentist.
I have been going to him for all my teeth related needs since I was in Kindergarten and I have never had an unpleasant experience. The office is located on the corner of Otis and Gage next to a donut shop, so you kinda have to look for it, but its worth the search.
Dr. Desai takes the health of your mouth seriously, and will answer any and all questions you may have regarding your dental health in a clear and concise manner. After being hit in the mouth with a baseball (and losing a tooth forever) I was completely averse to anything that would take me near a dentist for five years. Turns out I needed a deep cleaning and due to my traumatic experience, I was completely scared to go. But he is very gentle and has steady hands, so there is nothing to fear! As long as you are willing to take your dental health seriously, Dr. Desai is there to help, and I could not recommend going to anyone else!
