World Famous Grill

This is one of my all time favorite places. I recommend frying the mini burgers in chicken they are excellent. It’s a great place for family and friends. It’s also very spacious.

By far the best Mediterranean, you would be hard pressed to find a place that matches up with their chicken kabobs! The service made all the difference, friendly, courteous, and very clean!
Definitely coming back!

Very slow service… If the place is busy, you should hire more people — not simply tell your customers that youre busy.
I felt like the waiter hated me for ordering.
My friend was a refused a refill, only to watch the waiter refill another customers drink right after he told my friend to hold on.
The food was decent, but the restaurant experience requires both quality food and service.
It’s unbelievable to see how much potential this place has. Only a few tweaks in customer service would make a worlds difference here.

The burgers are delicious! The food quality is top notch. By far the best burger place within the city limits. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be returning to try the other food items from the menu.

Just spent a wonderful Mother’s Day lunch here with my kids. I had the shrimp taco plate! Yummy!

One of my favorite for halal burgers and steaks.
Seating and atmosphere is casual. We tried Steak, chicken burger, cheese burger and fried chicken burger. onion rings on the side. Everything was scrumptious!
They have variety of Baklawa.
Restroom are average clean.

The place is clean, the food is GREAT, and the staff is friendly :)
Do NOT miss out on the garlic potatoes!

Chicken quesadilla very unique taste, also all of their burgers are tasteful «my favorite will be the western burger on sourdough; bread, most of their staff are friendly but the one that always takes care of us is ’ Moe ‘
Food is always fresh
If the order is not right they will take it back to the kitchen and make it Right with no hesitation ’

Returning to this place, they make Amazing Middle Eastern food! Not just burgers, which they grind their own meat, oh my God!
This place is a undiscovered gem in the middle of a very busy city. Why it’s not packed during lunch time, I don’t know. Definitely on my five star menu restaurants from now on.
They even make your own different flavored desserts baklava!!!

They have a burger so big that it actually has 1 pound of meat. My boyfriend took it down with a side of chili fries. The burgers were so good that I am going back for more. The only thing that I did not like was the chili. It tasted like it came out of the can But everything else was great.

The Gentlemen That Took Our Order Was Very Polite & Friendly. I Had The Greek Salad, It Was Very Fresh & Delicious. I Also Had The Atomic Burger & It Was Very Tasty. My Husband Had Shawarma & OMG That Was Excellent Definitely Will Be Going Back!

By far the best restaurant I’ve tried in Cali! Specifically the burgers, they taste like heaven. If I live in this area, I wouldn’t even think of trying another restaurant. The service is very nice. The only thing I’d like to change is using basmati rice, even though the one this restaurant uses isn’t that bad.

I love the burgers are so tasty! Not to mention they greet you in a polite decent manner to seat you. First time i went young arabic guy was so attentive with my son gave him ice cream. Second time i went same greet polite everything just right. Next time i go will def try the chicken or beef kabob.

This is for the store that is attached to the restaurant. I call them on a regular basis to get dandelions for my pet guinea pigs. They are so nice and helpful. Yesterday I stopped by and was able to buy romaine lettuce and parsley. You cannot buy fresher vegetables than they have here. Normally dandelions go back very quickly but anything I have bought here last a week or more. They also have awesome European candy and pita bread. There is a butcher counter in the back. I would recommend anyone to give this place your business and try the food at the restaurant– you will be back!

If you’re thinking of getting the Chili Cheese Fries, get it. If you’re thinking about what size, get the Medium. It’s pretty huge and enough to share with at least 3 people, especially if you’re getting other things.
The Kabab Plate was also huge. Enough to share with another person. The rice is amazing! The beef a little tough and chicken a little dry. A little disappointed in the meat, but the tabbouleh was good and fresh. Loved the flavor.

Came here for dinner with friends this past Friday night. Wife was pretty excited to try halal food. Ordered a ton of food including: chicken wings (wife thought they were okay), chilli cheese fries (pretty solid), chicken fajitas (outstanding), chicken quesadillas (okay), cheesesteak (wife loved it). Also got the chicken egg rolls as a starter and they were okay. Ended with some falooda kulfi which was very good. Prices were very fair (everything was less than $ 10 each). Service was very friendly as well. We had a table of five and they brought everything out quickly. One of our favorite halal spots we’ve found here. Will definitely be back.

Great burger. I had the double cheese with bacon and some wings and fries. The burger was so filings that I could only eat a few of the fries. Looking forward to there 1lb burger challenge. Better get started on practicing. Also I got my paties well done. I think I would have liked it more if it was medium or medium rare.

I love coming to this spot. Been coming here for years and it’s one of my favorite Halal restaurants in LA. I come here from Van Nuys because I love their burgers, especially the bacon burger deluxe with an egg added on top, plus a side of hot wings and Chilli cheese fries (ask for melted nacho cheese). They are always very courteous and friendly to me and my family and I’ve never had a problem with the food (although I hear mixed reviews from others). They also have great wraps, shwarmas, Mexican and Mediterranean options. If you’re picky with your food, let them know how you want it cooked. They are usually very good about that.
And, they stay open til 3am daily for Ramadan. Perfect for a late night munch between Taraweeh and Sahoor (gets pretty busy on the weekends though so be ready). Good looking out y’all. I’m always a happy camper when I leave here :)

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant when we were Unilocaling burger places in the area. The reviews seemed decent and they offered a variety of food including American, Mexican and Mediterranean… so hey why not in case out taste palette changed then we could order different cultural foods!
We pulled up to a private parking lot and noticed very few people there. The waitress warmly greeted us and got us seated. The service was definitely friendly and quick. The menu was a little overwhelming since they offer three different types of cultural goods. I ended up ordering the beef shawarma and my bf ordered the chicken wrap with fries. Both dishes were actually pretty good. The second time we came back, we tried their chicken strips, chicken roll appetizer and steak wrap with fries. The chicken strips were mediocre, but the chicken rolls were SO delicious! We received the wrong wrap (chicken instead of steak), but the waitress was nice enough to comp us for the steak wrap! How sweet!
Tonight was our third time coming back and we received the same quality service and good food. Considering the restaurant is only 2 miles from my bf’s house and is reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning for the outstanding service and good food.

World Famous Grill offers a variety of dishes from breakfast food to Mediterranean cuisine. They even have Mexican food and burgers.
I ordered the kabob plate. It came with beef and chicken kabobs, rice, humus, tabouli salad, and pita bread for $ 12.99. I asked for a sprite and the server said they don’t have any drinks right now because they don’t have ice. Then he said he can offer me a coke and promised it would be cold in the bottle.
The food took over 25 minutes to come out. Similar to expecting a wait at Kabab Crush (Cerritos), I don’t mind waiting as long as it means the food is good and freshly prepared. However, I kind of got the impression that they forgot my order, because it wasn’t that busy. I asked after fifteen minutes, and the guy said it takes about twenty minutes. Over ten minutes later my food came out.
The food:
The beef was really good. It was tender, well seasoned, and juicy. The chicken was okay. It wasn’t that flavorful. The humus was just okay. I’ve had better humus at Arya (Long Beach) recently, and other places as well.
This is open late (2am I believe). I might return to try either breakfast or the Mexican food. Three stars was based on wait time (possible mistake on not putting in my order) and price. Also, the chicken was nothing special. Kabab Crush is still the best Persian/​Mediterranean bang for your buck in this price range IMO.

Accueil très sympa, repas délicieux, le tout dans un ambiance détendue… Vraiment une adresse à retenir et surtout tenter de vous retrouver en photo sur le wall of fame en arrivant à bout du big burger !!! Pour moi c’est fait !
