Effleurage Skincare & Day Spa is an upscale, full service Salon and Day spa owned by one of Houstons top estheticians. We offer a number of professional health and beauty services such as: Facials and Skin Care, Hair Removal, Hair Styling, Nails, Body Treatments including Vichy Shower, Massage, and Lash Extensions. Our staff is highly trained, and each associate is hand selected to ensure you receive the best quality services possible. We encourage our guests to stay and spend time with us, whether it’s for a service, some time reading a book or just to enjoy a glass of champagne. Come in and renew yourself!

History

Established in 2004.

Effleurage Skincare & Day Spa, originally Effleurage Skincare, was established in 2004 by Mahssa. In 2007, Mahssa won the prestigious Best Of Award from the Houston Press in the category of best facialist in Houston. All facials are designed by Mahssa herself and the estheticians are personally trained under her methods and techniques.

Welcome to Effleurage Skincare & Day Spa. With a background in Engineering, a passion for Medicine and a drive to spread her unique approach to beauty, Mahssa is back. It started out with makeup in the 80’s, and that’s over thank goodness. The oil industry brought her to Houston in 1997. Building on the technical aspect of her work, her passion for beauty didn’t give up, and in 2002 she began her new journey with a flight to Los Angeles to attend makeup school. A couple of years later the technicalities of the skin and its care drove Mahssa to obtain her Esthetician’s License and in 2004, Effleurage Skincare was established. In 2007, Mahssa was voted Houston’s Best Facialist and had proven to her clients the effectiveness of her techniques. Her husband’s work pulled the family to Dubai in 2009, where she continued to provide skincare internationally. Summer of 2012 was the return to Houston and Mahssa wasted no time to create the beautiful Effleurage Skincare & Day Spa.

I love this place! I’ve interacted with Alyssa, Heather and Ross and they’re all great. I’m currently receiving laser hair removal treatment from Ross and I was a little nervous at first but Ross makes sure you are comfortable and I am very pleased with the results so far. They also have unbeatable prices! But get in here quick because I’m sure once the word gets out for how awesome they are their prices will start to rise, but I will still be a committed customer even when that happens :)

I just had my second microneedling with Alyssa. She makes you feel special, and really works to do what is best for you. She is sweet and caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Alyssa at Effleurage!

In a nutshell: Beautiful place, friendly people, high quality products, and state of the art equipment! Ross is not only an expert at laser hair removal (for all skin types), she is absolutely passionate about it, makes you feel totally at ease, and is great fun to talk to! I’ve had laser hair removal done elsewhere in the past with ineffective machines and inexperienced or disinterested technicians. Don’t waste your time and money going somewhere else. If you want thorough and effective laser hair removal, book your appointment with Ross.

AMAZING! I’ve had two laser hair removal treatments here so far (bought a great groupon for two areas), and I am beyond impressed! I’ve had treatments before at other places (in another city), and this is by far my best experience. This is the first time I’ve had my legs lasered; I still have four sessions to go but haven’t had to shave in a month! Ros (spelling?) is FANTASTIC and always makes me completely comfortable. I will definitely be using other services here and referring friends! They have all these five star ratings for a reason! :)

I LOVE THIS PLACE!
I just had photofacial here and I definitely see the result for the first time!
Alyssa was a very sweet lady, she took care of me A to Z, she even txt me and actually care how is my skin doing!
I rate 5 stars for the customer service also. The lady at the front desk was very polite and respectful!
The spa was very clean, I notice its a new spa.
I definitely come back here! And if anyone ask me, Yes! Give it a try and you wont regret it!:)

My mom and I got a massages from Celeste and a mani/​pedis from Annie this afternoon, and wow! They are both awesome! In fact the whole staff here were great!!! I loved the lime, strawberry water and my mom loved her glass of white wine. I love this place!!! :) * update: Celeste no longer works here, but Nina is awesome too!

I went here to see Kyrstin, the hair removal queen!
So, I don’t really enjoy the actual act of a Brazilian waxing session, but the results are so worth it and that is because Kyrstin makes it a pleasant experience. Kyrstin is gentle, has me count to 3 and exhale, then she quickly and efficiently makes me a goddess, rather than a hairy beast of a woman.
If you have never had a full wax «down there» don’t be self conscious. Kyrstin makes it easy to feel comfortable and like you are just chatting with a girlfriend about your lady bits, rather than an embarrassing experience. AND she gets ALL THE HAIR. The hair you are embarrassed to tell people you have, the kind you don’t want your doctor to see, the hairs you pretend don’t exist, front to back & side to side… they will all be gone!
Try it out, the whole spa is beautiful. They have a cute room and soft lights just for waxing, so you feel all pampered while taking care of business.
And do it just for you, but trust me, your boyfriend or girlfriend will definitely appreciate the results!

I just went here on the recommendation of a trusted friend in the business. She simply said, go to Effleurage Day Spa. So, I did.
All I can say is, wow. Jonee took great care of me. I simply sat down and just put my hair in her care. Who knows what I was going to walk out of there looking like. Somehow, she knew exactly what I needed and I now have one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Ever! The owner of Effleurage Day Spa even came over to me to introduce herself and thank me for coming by. The entire staff is super friendly and service is great.
Because Effleurage Day Spa is such a nice salon, you might think a mens hair cut would cost a fortune. It was no more expensive than most of the other salons in town. Go see Jonee at Effleurage Day Spa, now. Had a great experience and I highly recommend this salon.
