History

Established in 1985.

Basket Case started by providing unique gifts in baskets. As demand grew we expanded into women’s fashions. Having moved into 3 locations to accommodate the growth, we are now conveniently located in the Lake Lorraine Shopping Center. In 2008 we also added a second location in Lebanon, IL. The original owner, Judy Carriel retired from Basket Case in October 2012 and now it’s in the capable hands of Judy Mack and Sue Hoelscher.

Coming from years of experience of interacting with businesses as a CPA, Judy purchased the Basket Case in October 2012.
