Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Dr. Ritzel is a native of Belleville. He attained his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2000. He completed his residency in medical and surgical management of eye diseases at Eye Health Partners of Middle Tennessee. Dr. Ritzel was in private practice in Tennessee for 3 years before returning to Belleville. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, the Southwestern IL Optometric Society, and the Illinois Society for the Prevention of Blindness. Dr. Ritzel accepts patients of all ages. Always on the forefront of new developments in eye care, Dr. Ritzel tries to think «outside the box» to provide unique, customized, and innovative solutions to his patients’ vision problems. Outside the office, he enjoys serving the Lord through the Fairview Heights Church of Christ, running, and coaching youth soccer. Dr. Ritzel and his wife, Jana, were married in 1997. They have 2 children.
