North Belt West Liquor Store

This little liquor store has nothing little to it when it comes to a great selection of beer. The owner is always willing to help me find whatever it is that I am looking for. I went in one day searching for a particular New Belgium beer and he searched in a couple of areas where he keeps his New Belgium brand and then went into his back room cooler to search as well. The beer wasn’t in his inventory at that time so I purchased something else and headed on my way. A week later I went back and asked him about it again. He remembered me and pulled out a clipboard of paperwork behind his counter and showed me where he made notes about the beer I was searching for. Well, it turned out to be a seasonal beer that he wasn’t able to obtain at that moment but to see him go to such efforts really impressed me. I go there roughly once a week mostly because his beer inventory is so vast. He does have a good bit of wine as well, but since I’m not much of a wine drinker I have never bothered to look at his selection. There is not much room to maneuver but that is because of the square footage of the building as well as his large inventory across the store. Don’t pass this place up judging its size… I’m sure you will be quite amazed at his huge inventory — especially if you are looking for some good brew! There is about as much, if not more, beer selections than Randall’s in Fairview Heights.
