Attorney Stan R. Weller has over 15 years of legal experience, and served in the Illinois Attorney Generals office before opening The Weller Law Firm. In addition to being a bar-​admitted attorney, Mr. Weller is also a state certified mediator and a St. Clair County arbitrator. He is deeply passionate about his legal practice and will dedicate that passion to your case. Stan R. Weller, Esquire:

Attorney Stan R. Weller is a sole practitioner in the Southern Illinois/​Metro East St. Louis area. He established The Weller Law Firm in 2006 after many years in private firms as well as a period with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office working in the Sexually Violent Person Unit. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate from the Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1998. He is a certified mediator, arbitrator, and former guardian ad litem, but concentrates his practice in the areas of family law and bankruptcy.

Mr. Weller has been a speaker at both bankruptcy and family law conferences and has authored two books for West Publications on family law:
