Food is ok, but the service is awful!!! We got sat immediately, but then sat for 10 minutes before the overly pretty waiter came and poured water for us. Then instead of telling us the specials for the night just said«you know what you want?» Finished our food then sat for 20 minutes before being acknowledged and asked if we wanted to go boxes, of course not I don’t want the reminder of this awful experience in my fridge. We live very near this place but would rather drive 20 minutes for Italian! Go to Vivo 53 if you want good Italian and good service

We came here for my boyfriends birthday because he loves Italian food. I made reservations for 7:15 and the place was completely empty. The server was very friendly and service was overall very good. We got our food relatively fast and it was a nice meal. However, it is extremely over priced for what you get. 2 pasta dishes, 1 glass of wine and a beer was $ 65! I would understand if this was the best pasta I have ever tasted but I felt like I might as well be at Olive Garden.

I had a business meeting here and the food was unique and delicious! The plate was full! The service was a bit slow but the food was worth the wait.

Noodles were soggy and greasy. The bread that came with it was toasted too long and tastes burnt. Very expensive for the quality.

This is my first time eating here, even though I drive by this restaurant on a regular basis. We had a large group, but were prepared with a reservation. Received excellent service and the food was fabulous! I would absolutely eat here again and recommend to friends.

This place is our go to restaurant. The food is always good. The servers are friendly. Tuesday night they have half priced wine. And parking is easy and close.

I had two experiences here. first one I took a date. Food was decent, came out promptly, slightly over priced(they are well aware they’re in DT bellevue. about $ 58 for two entrees) but the staff made up for it being very attentive and waving at us through the window as we left(awesome!) second experience was an order to go. smh. first order wouldve garned 4 stars, the second 1, so I had to average out. First off, door somehow wont open unless you charge it and push with all your might(and im not a weakling), can only imagine how hard it is for the retired folks that come here constantly. The kitchen staff watched and laughed as I had trouble with it. funny stuff guys. I ordered one entrée priced on their website at $ 15.50. Guy brings out my order 8 – 10 min later than time given on phone, and says $ 28.50. I recheck to make sure my receipt reflects the correct order, and sure enough it does(Chicken Scallipini sp?), but its $ 26 and some change. Ok, i dont even mention it, I just pay. I think welp better be good. was it good? If i had paid $ 15 for it, I still wouldve been slightly disappointed. Chicken was not juicy, not very proportionate(flat and tough), juices leaked mostly all into the bag and out of my to-go box, and the noodles and veggies tasted like veggies and noodles I pay $ 8 for at a teriyaki spot. Again, first experience was decent and those servers were rockstars, but this last experience ruined it for me. Mama Melina blows this place out of the water in terms of italian. and beware of the door folks lol.

This little gem, walking distance from my apt in Bellevue, is one of my favorite restaurants in Bellevue. I don’t what it is about genuine Italian restaurants but the real Italian restaurants are so romantic. Very different from Macchianos or Palominos. don’t get me wrong, those places are delicious but not genuine Italian. I mean what real Italian place doesn’t have tortellini? Those places don’t, Andiamo’s does. I ordered the Tortellini and my fiancé ordered the lasagna. His was good, but nothing compared to the tortellini! It was soooooo delicious and the sauce was soooo good I could’t stop dipping my bread in it! Not many places have panna cotta either. They do, and its soooo good. They also have crème brûlée, and just an overall really well put together menu with many many options. The real candle light setting was soooo nice and the server with the accent was a nice touch. BEST romantic date night place in Bellevue.

I have been there 3 times and each time the sign says«OPEN» and when I go in, they say it is closed. I am beginning to think they are discriminating; Never want to go back ever again

Very good service and food. Traditional Italian fare. Yes, the portions are small but anyone who’s been to Italy knows that’s common — quality over quantity. :)

The good: The food was very good and the service was good as well. I had the mushroom ravioli and my girlfriend had the spaghetti. The not so good: I’m only rating this two stars because the portions were ridiculously small. I have never been out to a restaurant where my girlfriend was able to finish her meal, and that is a bonus for me because I get leftovers. We had to go to a neighboring restaurant so I could get another entrée and not be ‘hangry’ the rest of the night. I know what you’re thinking, but no, I’m not obese and my girlfriend is not a dump truck. If this establishment increased their portion sizes I would go back for sure.

Love this place! It’s now our go-to for special occasions. Intimate, reasonably priced, easy to walk to in Bellevue and Italian staff. My only peev is they never seem to have enough wait staff so you don’t get all of the attention you should(refills on drinks, etc. — the small stuff), but overall the food makes up for all of that.

This three star review is honestly a three and a half. The deciding factor between rounding up and rounding down was, simply, my tiebreaker. My tiebreaker is and always has been customer service. I have dined here on a few occasions, but my experiences have lacked consistency. Food: the food is both outstanding and subpar. Their mushroom ravioli is to die for. It has rich, delectable flavors that will leave you feeling quite satisfied. However, the other pasta dishes are no better than something I could make, and I’m no chef. I’ve even frequently experienced undercooked pasta and vegetables. Service: so here’s what pushed my could-a-been-a four star review to a three star review. The service is terrible. Every time I’ve eaten here I’ve had a different server and their attentiveness to customers is about the only consistent thing about this establishment. Each one I’ve had has essentially parked me in a corner and vanished, only to return after long intervals to take your order or bring you your food. Good luck getting a refill on water. In conclusion, if you want some good Italian food, feel free to eat her. Just make sure to order the mushroom ravioli and don’t have high expectations for service.

Andiamo is my favorite Italian place in Bellevue. Two things that never disappoint; the linguine with clams(white wine sauce) and the mushroom ravioli. They are both spectacular and not to be missed. I recommend coming in on Tuesdays, every bottle of wine is half price, and they’ve got some killer selections that pair famously with their cuisine. Trust me, it’s worth stopping by!

My husband and I travel to Bellevue regularly and we have often remarked that we want to try Andiamo. The atmosphere was nice with subdued lighting and a quaint setting. I ordered the salmon special and my husband ordered the lasagna. Unfortunately the lasagna arrived cold in the middle and salty, and my salmon was luke warm. When we asked about when the lasagna was made we were told it had been made the day before, so it was not fresh. Both dishes had to be sent back. They returned with the salmon being hot enough but the lasagna was barely warm. In exchange for food that was sub-par, we were only offered a free glass of house chianti. The food quality did not match the $ 90 bill. We were looking forward to this restaurant experience and unfortunately we will not be returning, as it did not live up to our expectations.

Andiamo was a great experience for us. The restaurant is intimate and comfortable, easily found in downtown Bellevue. Our waiter, Donato, was attentive without being intrusive and was very personable. I went with the Veal Saltimbocca. Good choice, if I do say so myself. Excellent flavor and the portion was perfect. The same holds true for the crème brûlée I had for dessert All in all, a great dinner. If you’re looking for a romantic place in Bellevue, Andiamo is it.

They ruined our Valentine’s Day dinner. I want to say that we were so excited about going to this place for Valentine’s Day. We had been once before and really enjoyed ourselves, so I made reservations a week out. When we got there for our 7 pm reservation, we were forced to stand in a crowd inside the door for over half an hour before we were finally seated. There was no organization, people were just randomly being seated, almost in a «whoever makes the most fuss» sort of way, despite everyone having given their names. One couple was told they were next(and had been waiting for over an hour!) and I saw 4 other couples seated before them. Anyway, we finally made it to a table and it was dirty!(pic posted) They did not clean the table for at least 15 minutes. Looking around, we saw that others were suffering the same fate. There was one staff person running around confused, clearing tables for those that made a fuss. When the previous diners dishes were finally removed, we decided to roll up our dirty table cloth so that he would notice us. We did this, because the couple at the next table were actually served water on their dirty table and had to point it out. We were taking no chances. Finally, the waiter replace our rolled up, dirty table cloth for a fresh one and tossed some silverware and one napkin on our table. It was sort of assembly line style. Walk out with clean cloths, put them on 4 tables. Return with a handful of silver, toss them on each table. Walk out with napkins, some get them, some don’t. So… We arranged our own silverware and my husband let me have the napkin. How romantic! During this, several couples were just walking out, fed up. We decided to laugh and make the best of it, since there was no way we would get in anywhere else on this short of notice. After about 20 minutes of sitting there, we each were grateful to receive a small wine glass of water and one menu. We never were offered any wine list or any thing else to drink. We watched one couple actually open their own wine bottle and pour it themselves. We were shocked to find out that they had only a special Valentine’s day menu available.(THISWASNOTONTHEWEBSITEORPOSTED!) Another couple left at this point for this reason. When we finally flagged down the waiter(the guy clearing tables), we confirmed that the 3 entrees listed were all that was available. The kicker? They were charging $ 49 per person. No options. Still we stayed. I ordered the soup and the pear gorgonzola ravioli, my only option. My husband ordered the salad and the salmon. A few minutes later they waiter came out carrying about 5 plates of the appetizer(caprese) and dropped one in the middle of each table. No appetizer plates, my husband still did not have a napkin, and our water was empty. We ate off the same plate and were thankful to at least be chewing at this point as it was after 8. Another 15 – 20 minutes later and the waiter showed up with 2 salads. I corrected him and asked for my soup. It came out cold, after my husband had completed his salad. It was inedible. Finally our dinner arrived. At this point I was about to cry. The laughter was gone. My anticipated Valentines dinner was cold ravioli,(about 7 pieces) thrown on a plate with a piece of pear. It was so sugary I could not eat it. The ravioli was so chewy! I took one bite and just pushed my plate away. To be fair, my husband said his salmon was good. Though the potatoes and veggies on his plate were cold and rubbery. I told the waiter about it and he just cleared my plate and walked away. No offer of anything else. At this point, we joined the pack headed for the door. I was so disappointed. I tried to talk to someone about our ticket or to complain, but no one would give us time of day. We ended up just leaving without paying. I cannot tell you how awful it was, but I have tried. I will never go back. I will be broadcasting to all who will listen to not go there for Valentine’s Day. This is a special evening that should be enjoyed. We chose to enjoy it at a nice restaurant in a romantic setting. Andiamos turned our romantic dinner into a circus show. I am so disappointed. We ended up eating at Denny’s. Shame on them.

The ambiance is romantic and the food is decent; but for the price, there are better options nearby. My friend and I came here before a lecture at the Bellevue Library. Danube was closed for renovation so we had no other alternative. One thing to note is that the front door is REALLY heavy so you get to use muscle before you can enter. The open kitchen was interesting as you can see the chef doing the cooking. The server was friendly as he greeted my friend and I when we entered and seated us promptly. There was an extensive wine list but we opted not to drink. The menu had multiple selections of specialty items so my friend and I changed our minds several time. Eventually, she settled on the pear and gorgonzola ravioli with walnut-gorgonzola sauce($ 22) and I went for rosemary chicken ravioli which was the special of the day. The portion size was definitely not huge here. I got maybe five raviolis. The pesto sauce that came with the ravioli was nicely made. I tried a bit of my friend’s pear and gorgonzola ravioli. It seemed like the pear was only an ornament and there were no pear in the actual ravioli. The walnut sauce was nice and the dish was flavorful but it was hard to get excited about it. For dessert, I got the tiramisu and my friend got the panna cotta. The tiramisu was decent but it seemed like they only make one fruit purée for the day. The tiramisu and the panna cotta came with the same purée. There was nothing wrong with the purée but it was not exciting either. The whole meal including tips cost me close to $ 40. The server was really kind in splitting the bill by what we each ordered. He also pushed the really heavy door for us so that we can exit. So I think the service is alright but the food is definitely just mediocre for the price.
