Just had Wilmer paint my basement. He did a great job, was on time every day, and excellent communication regarding additional materials needed to complete the job. I will be using him again. Not sure about those who work for him, but I was very happy with the work Wilmer did. No complaints whatsoever.

Wilmer just finished two and a half weeks of work on our house. We had a great experience working with him and would definitely hire him again for future work. He was very considerate of our budget and timeline, knowledgeable, and a diligent and fair worker. With his help, we were able to remodel our early 1900’s home with relative ease. We used him for framing, flooring, light electrical, and plumbing work. Very pleased with the results and price!

Contacted these guys for a job on a specific timeline. They told me $ 30/​hr, came out and did a walk-​through, and gave me a bid. They refused to work hourly as originally discussed, and would only do a job rate that seemed excessive when I did the math on the hours. They then quoted as astronomical amount for materials too. But, my timeline was tight, so I hired them anyway. This should have been a red-​flag #1.
Their 2-​person team showed up late on the first day, and wanted 50% of the job up front. I paid in check which they said was fine. The work they actually did was acceptable, not great, not awful. Day two — they say «their LLC partner» can’t take a check (despite their website and contract saying all payment forms honored), and can only do cash. So, I trade out the check for cash. Red flag #2, but we’re already in the middle of the job, so I let it go.
Come Friday — they are mostly done, but we outlined a number of small items to finish which were part of the original bid, as well as a couple small things that were added on since they time they quoted was far greater than the days it actually took. We agreed on a detailed plan with a walk-​through, and they said they only needed their one junior guy to finish for a few hours Saturday morning. and since their senior guy was moving on to another job, we paid the balance to him Friday, trusting they would finish the job as promised Saturday.
Big surprise, they never showed up on Saturday to finish the work. Lots of phone calls and messages later, they agreed to come that afternoon to finish. Again, no show, no call. I called them on Monday, and they now outright refuse to do any work, despite a contract, text messages, and witnesses all reflecting that they agreed to finish the job.
Total scammers. I’ve hired lots of contractors, and you get what you pay for. These guys work cheap, but don’t count on the work being done right, or done at all. And most importantly — don’t give them a cent until they do the work — as soon as cash was in their pocket they were gone.
Beware, and take your money elsewhere.

These guys were awesome! They replaced all my doors and trim, painted and replaced my windowsills. Wilmer was extremely responsive, respectful and skilled. I don’t know what the previous two reviews are about as I would definitely use them in the future. I’m so happy I went with them!
