We employed BHC to turn our storage area under our home into a daylight basement. This project included a wide variety of items — adding stairs, windows, bedrooms, foundation, bathroom/plumbing, painting, etc. Considering the breadth of our project, I feel like we really experienced most of the contractors BHC employs and we only have positive things to say about everything. The project turned out wonderfully and we couldn’t be happier. Any issue/correction we had was promptly and politely taken care of and the owner is just a pleasant man to work with. If we ever had a large project again, we would hire them in a heartbeat and I always sing their praises to anyone we know who needs contractor work. You should definitely hire these guys.

There are three things that make for a fantastic contractor:(1) quality of work,(2) reliability and(3) cost. BHC created a new spine for my 1908 house by removing and replacing an old center-beam, install new LSL joist and contracting tile work for the floors above. The work was delicate and complicated, costing ~$ 25K. The second time around I had BHC return to finish the same basement and replace all the windows with new ones, costing ~$ 10K. In both cases the communication was timely and accurate, the interaction with workers pleasant and professional, and the quality of work stellar. The few follow-ups needed after the work was done were addressed immediately and completely; BHC didn’t forget about me when the job was paid for. Finally, I found that BHC’s estimates were competitive for larger projects, though if you need a small(less than $ 10K) job done you might find their bids too high, which considering the level of professionalism and quality of work guaranteed might just be worth it. For your large and complex projects I couldn’t recommend BHC enough.

I have been completely blown away by the team at BH Contracting Services. We just finished up a kitchen remodel — which included moving a laundry room, knocking down walls, moving electrical/plumbing — essentially everything in our kitchen has changed/moved. Not only is the team fantastic to work with — truly some of the nicest and organized people — but they finished our project two weeks ahead of schedule! Two weeks! Much of that I attribute to the very close attention to detail and schedules that the team follows — daily updates were the norm, along with constant communication from the owner and office manager. We always knew where the project stood, if there were potential roadblocks ahead, etc. The quality of their work has absolutely blown me away — every little detail imaginable is perfection. It’s apparent that the team at BH treats each job as if they’re working in their own home. Hands down, we will hire them again for future projects.
