Boba T

I hang around Factoria quite often and in the summer, it’s quite refreshing knowing that there’s a bubble tea place super close by. The little shop in located in Factoria Mall, parking in the Target area would probably be the most convenient to walk to get to Boba T although Factoria Mall isn’t that big nor is it ever busy so parking anywhere really wouldn’t be too much work to get to this place.
I’m surprised at a lot of the low reviews, I actually like drinks here and the popcorn chicken is a quick, delicious snack. I’m more of the fruity boba drinker than milk teas so I find this place has quite a few variety that I enjoy. One of my favorite is the avocado smoothie, you put anything avocado, I’m a fan automatically. There are a few other fresh fruit smoothies options, if not, I would go for the peach slush. Not a bad choice for a hot summer day, the Eastside is limited on bubble tea culture so this is one of my go to places if I’m around this area. Usually it’s high school students working behind the counter, but nothing is wrong with that, I always get nice service.

Just like the review says, this bubble tea place is A-​OK. Bubble tea is one of my obsessions so I’ve tried a great number of places around Bellevue/​Seattle. When I get bubble tea, I usually get black tea with tapioca. The black tea at Boba T is okay — slightly sweet for my tastes but it’s not one of the worst I’ve had. This bubble tea place is convenient and one of the closer ones to where we live (compared to bubble tea places around Bellevue Square). It’s good enough to satisfy my craving! Their service is actually pretty fast too which is always appreciative. They constantly have 2 – 3 people working at a time so even when there’s a line, the wait time is pretty short. Overall, Boba T is good. :)

I just buy a large honey black tea here. It’s delicious. However, the girl overthere had a really bad attitude. I went with my boyfriend but we bought only one, she didn’t say hi to us and she was really cranky, after making my tea she THREW the tea cup in my face and went back with out saying anything. Horrible customer service.

This place in unsanitary. The workers assisted 2 customers ahead of me, handling cash, then making bubble tea drinks and snacks and not once did he wash his hands ever. I already paid so I just waited in line. I cringe thinking about it again.

Nice location inside Factoria Mall so you can get some boba while you shop.
Pros: $ 3.88 for a regular size iced matcha milk tea w/​boba (with tax). They used real matcha powder like expected.
Cons: when I was waiting for my drink I could already tell they do not put enough ice. I like my drinks cold and when she handed me my drink it felt room temperature. There was plenty of room to add more ice so I’m not sure why she didn’t. When I asked if I could have more ice she ended up pouring my drink in a new cup with more ice. I got less tapioca but at least my «iced» drink was cold.
Also, they have a minimum card purchase of $ 4. I told them to just charge me $ 4 since I didn’t have cash.

This is the powdery, fake fruity, premixed stuff… and I think I prefer it to the fresh. I work and live literally next door to here, which is an issue. Service here is spotty, and sometimes a bit unprofessional, but the magic is in the product. I love their almond milk tea, watermelon smoothie (fresh!), melon icy, red bean icy, and taro icy. Love that they offer small sizes as well. Tip to the non Asian customers… in the wintertime, order a hot milk tea or lemon tea. It’s a hidden Chinese secret and it’s DELICIOUS.

Boba T is located inside of the Factoria Mall Shopping Center. They have a good selection on flavors and a variety of jellys. I haven’t tried any food, so I can’t speak on that, but the couple times I’ve tried their smoothies I’ve been satisfied!
I have had the green tea smoothie and taro smoothie. I have also had red bean and large tapioca. All of which were good! The only thing I don’t like is there is a $ 4 minimum on cards. Now a days people pay with cards more than they do with cash! So just make sure you have cash or are wanting to get the large drink.

Bad attitude and too much sweetner used that makes it undrinkable. When you’re in a low traffic mall and someone orders 10 drinks from you. You shouldn’t give them an attitude. Smile and say thank you!
Gave an attitude because one of the kids punctured a big whole in the cup seal and we asked for the cup to be resealed.

They have so many choices, and for summer days they offer «fresh fruit smoothies». I had a mango smoothie with tapioca, so yummy! (And if you are counting your calories they have a light version without milk)

Best Taro milk tea boba I’ve ever tasted in Seattle so far… Their jasmine milk tea r to die for too! Been coming back and forth to get their milk teas and I still loving it…

Some of the best bubble tea I’ve had here. They have a wide assortment of jellies and Boba including my favorite, popping lychee. So delicious!
I got the avocado smoothie with popping lychee and fruit jelly and wasn’t disappointed. So excellent!

I’ve been here so many times and never get bored of the taste!
I usually get the avocado smoothie or milk tea here. This place is soooo affordable and after you finish your drink, you’ll always want to buy more! I ordered an avocado smoothie and noticed that it did not taste good at all. The avocado tasted expired. However the workers noticed my expression and offered me to make another drink! Everyone here is friendly so if they look tired or down, just know that they’re busy!
The snacks here are really good too! The popcorn chicken is soooo good! It’s crispy and flavorful so the spicier the better! The squid balls here are great too, just make sure to order a large drink when you order your snacks pricy!

What are you missing out on?

Surprisingly, a solid bubble tea place within the mall. Their drinks are actually good and not too expensive (three dollars per cup is a good benchmark). Probably the most important thing about any bubble tea place is not messing those two up. But then these people also make the drinks super fast (like within a minute of your order) and actually know how to do their job.
Tapioca for 55 cents is a bit expensive, but the bubbles are chewy and very soft. They have a TV and are located in the mall between Target and the Old Country Buffet. Pretty great, and other places could learn a thing or two from here. It’s unfortunate that bubble tea in general is not exactly for the health-​conscious; otherwise, I would be stopping by here much more often.

I literally thought this place was a joke. I sat in front of the counter waiting for assistance while the two working gals sat on a chair playing with their phones and let the male worker take all the customers as a line was starting to form. They finally got up to help about 2 minutes later after noticing it started getting busy, not to mention they weren’t very friendly. The only reason I’d ever go back is because their fried tofu is delicious. Service is terrible though, it’s incredibly rude to be on your phone in plain site while you’re working.

Ordered a green tea smoothie, and am disappointed to note that it had the consistency of ground up chalk with a hint of artificial tea flavoring. Couldn’t even finish more than an ¹⁄₈ of the entire drink. Will not go back unless I need to desperately quench my thirst and, even then, I’d rather drink water from a tap in the restroom.

Failed to see the spacing in the name, so pronounced it «Bobat» the first time I was here… hahaha anyway…
My usual order is the (iced) passionfruit jasmine green tea with boba, which has always been pretty consistent… most of the time the bobas have been perfectly chewy and the tea not overly sweet with syrup.
The coffee milk tea is good as well, although the taste of the tea is way more apparent than the coffee flavor. I usually don’t order milk teas so this surprised me since in my order mentioned above, the flavor of tea is completely masked by the passionfruit.
A plus to this place is the punch card they offer — 10 teas and then one free. Takes a bit of time to reach that point, but definitely an incentive over some other places that offer bubble tea (such as the neighboring Dim Sum Factory).

They don’t know how to make a smoothie. Or how to cook calamari.
The people working here are 12 years old and should not be handling food for anyone. Especially not seafood.
They left the smoothie blending for about 5 entire minutes, it was not icy it was just sugar water. Asked them to remake it, because it was disgusting, and they did the same thing again. Blended forever, and it just tasted like syrup water, again.
Calamari was greasy and undercooked. Seasoned very poorly.
Waste of $ 10.00
Would never go back.

We had to wait a bit today, it was busy. There was one person taking orders and another making the food and drinks. My jasmine green tea with boba was just right, however my daughter’s strawberry smoothie tasted powdery. This location is convenient but I wish they had fresh fruit smoothies.

The other day I went by to get my usual drink which is black tea with egg pudding. It’s a simple drink. Egg pudding is suppose to be silky, soft and light. Almost like pudding jello. This was my worst egg pudding EVER. It was spongy and the texture was so unappealing I could not finish my drink. The pudding tasted like a sponge, no joke. How can you serve that to people. I’ve tried many egg pudding at various location and Oasis in Chinatown has the best egg pudding. Not always the best drink but their pudding is on point.
I’ll come back for their milk tea but pass on the egg pudding.
