Been here twice so far. I do have to give credit to the place since I saw it when it first opened to recently and they are evolving as much as they can to provide better variety and services. I have to admit, I was angry when I first visited since I am very familiar with the Coco Curry house chain and expected this to be that place. I found out quickly that this is just some Korean place that wanted to offer something different. Since then, I have managed to embrace the change and view this place as a new offering as a new restaurant.(you can’t blame the name right?) The variety of foods and the very reasonable pricing(especially for Bellevue downtown) makes this place a fun and delightful place to go. Not only that, one could have different flavours and experiences with each visit. As a Korean myself, I enjoy being able to get my own water and goods. Helping myself was how I was raised and often do at many of my favourite restaurants. yeah, I got used to spelling things with the U. Anyway, my last visit was far better than the first one and must give them 4 stars for showing growth and providing this kind of establishment to the neighbourhood. Thanks! BTW, when they say hot curry… it can be super hot! So order responsibly. lol

For a family, this is the perfect form factor. Order at the counter, plenty of seating, serve yourself(which meant we could get more napkins, forks, water etc whenever we wanted), cheaper prices and larger menu than most ramen places(more variety as well). More vegetarian and seafood options. MHuge portions. And very quick. Sure the ramen isn’t as «gourmet» as many ramen only places, But it was delicious. More of a Korean style ramen so it included Champon!(spicy seafood ramen). I’ve only had this once before. It was so good. Like the other time I had it, this is basically a Korean seafood soup with ramen noodles added. My husband ordered the veggie ramen, which was quite good. I could taste miso and sesame paste in the broth. It isn’t as thick as the veggie broth Santouka uses(which we thought was a bit too much). Both ramens had plenty of veggies mixed in. The veggie ramen had chunks of silken tofu. We also ordered katsu donburi for the kids. Came Korean style in a stone hot pot, which made the rice crunchy. Also came with an egg. The egg was overcooked by the time my son ate it(in my opinion) but just perfect for him. If we had pulled it out just as the dish came to the table, it would have been cooked perfectly. Kids loved the dish. Definitely want to come back and try some of their curry dishes.

Their servers were really mean to Asian customers, even though they are Asians theirselves. Their drinks were perfectly good, and food was great.

Looks like a self-service restaurant because when you coming, you would have to order food and pay at register first. Then take your number and have a seat anywhere you want. Love how they have the donburi in the hot stone. The omelette curry with chicken katsu is good though. But the spicy pork donburi is kind of spicy and tastes bad compared to spicy pork at other Korean restaurants. Large portion with a good price so I rate 5 starts.

I still think this is a good place to come for katsu and curry but they’ve recently updated a few menu items. They now serve korean food during dinner time, which was pretty decent to my husband. I tried takoyaki and california roll for lunch, and it was good. It’s quick and easy, so why not come if you’re looking for cheaper priced foods in the area.

I was really happy with everything we got at this place! We got the spicy wings, which were’t too spicy, but crunchy on the outside cooked well and big! The Yakisoba wrapped in egg was also excellent. Enjoyed the contrast in flavors. We also had rice rolls, mixed in an orange sauce not sure the name, but we all liked that as well. They’re open late and service was surprisingly really good for a late night spot. Would definitely come back… Maybe tonight!

Been here a few times with coworkers for lunch and every time I come here I’m just not impressed. The food come pretty quickly and the ramen is decent. My one thing about the place is that I feel like the atmosphere isn’t there. The restaurant is located in an almost fast food like building that it shares with a teriyaki joint. Inside, the booths seems greasy and dirty which made me focus more on what I was sitting in rather than what I was eating. I’ve heard the atmosphere seems better at night but I haven’t been there for dinner. Probably would come here just out of convenience. But given a choice, I’d pick another ramen shop.

I had omelette curry with chicken katsu :) The portion was big and it was too much for me, but curry was very delicious!

The food was delicious. We had katsu with curry. The katsu was plentiful but the curry was lacking in quantity to balance the massive amount of katsu. The karage was delicious as well. Price overall was decent and worth it. Servers were a bit slow and we waited a while even though we knew what we wanted to order. Overall average rating. Nothing exceedingly grand and nothing terribly bad. Verdict: Does anyone have the drenchies?

This place is GEWD. I’ve never been in the day time(some of my friends said it looks dingy?) but I’ve been for late dinner several times and LOVE the atmosphere. I live in Bellevue/Redmond so having this hip Korean place just down the road makes life super easy and it’s a great spot for a small group of friends. Our favorite things to order are: Corn Cheese(omg…SOGOOD) Budai Jigae one of their fried chicken dishes. It’s covered in sauce and super good. The flavored soju drinks could be a lot stronger. I didn’t feel a thing despite arriving on an empty stomach. Asian bar culture has yet to make a big wave in Seattle but I’m hoping this is the start of something permanent!

I mean it is good for lunch if you are in a super rush when all other good ramen places are full. This place is real fast, has a lot of seating. But the broth is so watery I was very disappointed, it feels like instant noodle with real ramen toppings. Ramen comes with a side of sushi, which for 8.99, I think it is a good deal especially for college students!

I love new and unique Korean restaurants and Coco is one of them. It’s the kind of place where college kids hang out in Korea drinking and soaking up the suds with hearty Korean food. You can get some great«bar» food here with an elegant twist to each dish which makes even the dukboki and odeng soup seem gourmet. We had quite the feast of street food and fried chicken, which was the highlight. I love this place.

Aside from it being located on the corner of one of the busiest streets in Bellevue, Coco Ramen & Curry Izakaya is definitely worth a try if you haven’t already. The prices are decent and the food quite scrumptious! Parking is also a breeze with a private lot; But be warned, it can be a pain in the ass due to the tight spaces. Our waiter was nice enough to seat my party of 3 quickly despite it being quite busy during post-lunch time. I ordered the Omelette Curry Beef along with the 20 pieces Special House Chicken Wings(before judging in awe at my stomach capacity, we initiated a family-style share with our ordered items). The Omelette Curry was quite good! It was more on the sweet side(similar to Japanese Curry) but, it soothed my Curry cravings. However, the Special House Chicken Wings were OHSO delicious. I’m sure they weren’t as healthy as they were magnificent but who’s counting calories here anyway? Not this girl! Overall, a nice place to retreat to from the night-life or just a casual hangout over some noodles and wings!

If you’re not a picky eater, want to pay for a quick and simple meal, then come here. It’s not terrible, nor is it amazing. They are opened late, which is good for evening workers or those hungry for a late night snack. They occasionally do get busy, but for the most part, you won’t have to wait for too long. I’ve had the ramen and it was just okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It was too oily and salty for me. As for the curry, I have yet to try it, but have heard a few good things about it. There are better places, but again, for what is offered if you don’t want to wait in a one-hr line, it’s not bad.

This place is pretty good. It’s open late on weekends. The food is pretty good and cheap as well. This isn’t as the top restaurants that specialize in a type of dish and cuisine but overall, this place is strong. For example, the ramen places(santouka, kukai, etc.) have better ramen. Dontaksu places are better. Curry places are better, etc. But those places have a much more limited menu so for a place that serves all of this stuff, this is good. In addition, if it’s midnight and you’re hungry, you can’t go to those places. The staff is pretty nice and efficient. There is water as well as extra bowls and silverware off to the side near the fountain drinks.

Amazing food, great hours, really good staff. All around the service was unbelievable. Highly recommend the ramen. They are open until 2am also, which is unlike anywhere else in Bellevue. They also give you great service, regardless if you are white or not, unlike many Asian restaurants on the Bellevue(such as top gun seafood in Factoria). It’s also worth mentioning I left my wallet here, went back the next day and they had it(they actually had called and left me a voicemail letting me know they had it). All the cash was still there. Awesome employees here.

Bumping this place up too 4 as I just love it — Korean comfort food and atmosphere at its finest. Some of my initial concerns seemed to have been addressed too, so I have to give it a 4. I love this place for the ultimate in Korean comfort food in King County!

I’m not sure if there are more Japanese curry restaurants in Seattle but Coco’s is probably is one of its kind on the other side of the bridge. I’ve tried some of their curry dishes(usually 9.99) and their Korean dishes. The curry is good. Its not too salty and their cutlets are a great complement. I ordered their omelette curry once and the meat(though a nice surprise to have) was fairly tough. They also offer shareable dishes that are kind of pricy for what they are. I think I got to share Korean chicken and this spicy rice cake dish that were around $ 23 each. They’re pretty tasty all the least. I work around the area and, if looking for fast service, Coco’s is the way to go. I think the only problem that we’ve had was when one friend’s order was forgotten. I would say the staff were on top of it considering that the restaurant seemed busy. One of the staff members had to ask what exactly was my friend’s order.

Yummy food, large portions, and low prices. A bit heavy on the calories for my tastes, though. As its name suggests, this restaurant specializes in ramen and curry, but I’ve only tried the curry since I think ramen is a scam. They deliver fast, too. I placed my order, paid, and went to the bathroom. By the time I got back, they already had it waiting on the table for me. They give a pretty good ratio of curry to rice. Meat could have been a bit more plentiful, and the salad was just thinly shredded lettuce with sauce, but neither are bad. A quick bite in an informal setting is what you’ll get here, nothing more.

Very much like curry joints in Japan. Plenty of delicious options for curry, ramen, rice bowls, and a couple of Korean-ish dishes. The curry is good and served in large portions. You get a heap of rice, a bunch of cole-slaw like salad, and curry poured everywhere else on the big plate. In the curry you can get a variety of delicious animals, mostly deep-fried. The gyudon(beef bowl) and spicy pork rice bowls are really good, and my favorite things to eat there. I’ve had the karaage(fried chicken) curry and beef curry and they’re both super as well. Within the restaurant they play Japanese pop music which adds to the feeling that you’re in Japan. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and deferential. It was unexpected and nice for a place with such a casual menu. The parking is free so it’s easy to drive to. This is a regular stop of mine in Bellevue.
