I shop at Bellevue store for years now. I live an active lifestyle and I am one of those young generation returning customer. Given the fact they headquarter in Bellevue this store should be on top of customer service. They have hired some new reps at this location and some new hires (female) are not interested in customer service at all. They ignore clients not willing to answer questions. The only thing I saw her doing is flirting with male clients

Friendly and helpful staff members. Greeted upon arrival. Good variety of outdoor gear. The store layout is pretty straight forward, neat and organized. Sales section is descent. The line towards the registers can be busy at times. More lines towards the registers can improve customer wait times to make purchases. Members get coupons that they can use. A good outdoor sports wear store!

I want to commend Justin for his exceptional service. I had some items that I purchased recently and I did not try them on. When I went to wear one of the items it did not fit me correctly even though it was the correct size. I had waited a long time to wear this and felt that this would be a problem if I tried to return the items. I walked into the store and was welcomed and directed to the back of the store. Justin was at the checkout area and when I approached I could tell he was super nice. As I start telling him the story he says «no worries at all we will take care of this easy». I did not have one receipt and he had to look up each of the transactions individually. It was a pain I am sure. Justin was super friendly, patient, and beyond helpful. I am most grateful for his great attitude. Auri, provided great assistance as well. Outstanding experience! Thank you!

Hi wanted to write this as with this time of year, and for the people who will be doing online ordering. I shop their for my son. I’ve even bought a few things for myself. I like their merchandise. What I have a complaint about and this would get minus stars! I decided to pay for gift wrapping. I figured this would be my first wrapped present under my Christmas tree! Ha ha. Their gift wrapping is putting it in their Eddie Bauer ugly green box, with a red ribbon that did not even go all around the box. I paid $ 5.00 for that! How appaling. And ripping off customers! Now I have to buy wrapping paper, buy decent looking ribbon, that does not look like its twenty years old, and wrap my sons present. I’m disabled and paralyzed on my left side. That’s why I paid for gift wrapping. Sorry Eddie Bauer, this is not gift wrapping! You should be ashamed? I would not advise anyone to pay and waste their money on their so called gift wrapping! Thank you. Dissatisfied customer.

Their staff has always been motivated and super helpful, it’s such a nice positive, up beat experience I forget for a moment I’m really at the Bellvue Square Mall, lost in the land of pretentious wealth. Oh yeah, if your active or former military they’ll take another 10% off the bill with your military or VA id. Add to that the coupons they love to send out for members card holders and you can just about shop for free.

the most gorgeous Eddie store hands down. you will feel like it is a Whistler or another ski resort. High ceilings with beams of wood inverted at center of store, running all the way to back.

The Bellevue Eddie Bauer is the largest Eddie Bauer that I have visited. The sale selection here is always great. Eddie Bauer has student discounts if you have your student ID card!

I used to like this store until they wouldn’t let me exchange a $ 180 brand new down coat. This coat was a gift from my father and still had the tags in it. Inexplicably it was torn. I realize it isn’t defective but it is an expensive new coat from a high end retail store. My friend tore his used North Face coat and the store furnished him with a replacement. From now on I guess I will make my expensive purchases from a company who backs up high prices with a more generous exchange policy.

Eddie Bauer at Bellevue Square has a nice lodge feel to it. The store has a welcoming feel to it and always appears to be well kept for. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. This location far exceeds Alderwood Mall. The prices are pretty high for the product, but this is more of a corporate problem then a local one. I would recommend this store if you need cool small gift gadgets (Stocking stuffers, ect) or warm clothing for outdoor adventures.

Employees here were really helpful. Everything was neat and organized so my size was easy to find. The dressing rooms were unlocked so you didn’t have to track down someone to unlock it for you. They even offered to find different size for me when they over-​heard me talking with my shopping buddy that a size was too big!
Why not a five star? They were really pushy on getting there discount card, and also asked who helped me today… I don’t really know I was looking around by myself.

After discovering my love for the Eddie Bauer Outlet in Woodinville I just can’t stand regular Eddie Bauer… it’s so EXPENSIVE! This location in Bellevue Square is not exception… I haven’t bought a single thing here… even their clearance items lean toward the pricier end. I don’t mind paying more for quality but I’ve had several EB items fall apart on me.

Dear Mr. Bauer,
May I call you Eddie? Why do you lure me in with your gritty old Washington aesthetics, and entice me with your once lustrous reputation only to sell me clothing items that unravel, check, pucker and splay?
Once you were a stalwart of quality, today you are a sucker punch to my groin, my faded, pleated corduroy groin.
You can’t say something is green, its «loden», and orange becomes «lava», blue becomes «summer sky». Your poetry is wearing as thin as your «no wrinkle» shirt.

My time here was like a Poop Sandwich – the beginning and end were OK, but the middle, well, stank.
I’d received a birthday gift in the mail from my mom – an Eddie Bauer raincoat. Super cute, but the wrong size. So I traipsed in here to exchange it for another one. First impression: Tidy, eye-​pleasing displays, nice lighting, and a friendly employee who asked if I needed help. He quickly answered my question that they didn’t carry Tall sizes in-​store, but that I could easily place a new order there and they’d send a new coat to my house. Sweet! Still, I tried on the regular small size to make sure it fit. As I’d expected, my Stretch Armstrong Arms were a smidge too long, and I decided I’d just reorder a Small Tall and have it sent to me.
Up to the counter went I, and a new employee asked me if I was ready. I explained the situation, and that’s when the chaos started. He took one look at the shipping invoice, mumbled something about how he needed payment info, and before I knew it I was on the phone with their catalog center. The poor woman on the line! She was very very nice and helpful, but I honestly had no idea what I was supposed to be saying to her, and Mr. Helpful had taken the invoice with him and was doing something at the register with it. I ran back to him to get some product number she’d requested, and he replied, «She needs it NOW? Fine, I’ll write it down for you,» all snotty-​like. Even I, who very very rarely sasses at people, had to point out that I had no idea what I was even doing on the phone to begin with. He didn’t respond, just handed me the post-​it.
So I returned to the phone, where it turned out that was not the correct number. Nice Call Center Lady said we’d just wait until he came back. We pretty much got to be best friends, talking about how cute the coat I was getting was and what color was my favorite? The green?! OMG me too!!! Have you seen the matching umbrella that’s only $ 10 with any purchase? (yadda yadda)
Mr. Helpful finally comes over after a few minutes and I stand by awkwardly while they have a terse conversation (I gathered that either he was a) getting a little lesson in customer service or b) they were disagreeing about whether the apple green or the cherry red was a cuter color. Probably the former).
After they hung up, he informed me that the size Small Tall doesn’t exist. OK, I’ll take the regular small, I said, trying to ignore the fact that if he’d told me this initially, the whole fiasco could have been avoided altogether.
Anyway, things started to go back uphill from there. He went and got the right size for me, and after ringing everything in it ended up that I still had money to spend, since the coat was now on sale. Nice Call Center Lady and he must not have been such bitter enemies after all, because he recommended the very same umbrella that she had mentioned. And as it worked out, it was just the right price so that I broke even. Sold!
So now I have an *adorable* green rain coat (nice taste, mom!), a wind-​resistant blue umbrella, and a belly full of Poop Sandwich. Yay!

What a disappointment this store has become. They no longer carry women’s pants in a size larger than 16 (and even those are really hard to find). Their sales racks are no longer filled with what I would call a bargain. The southcenter store is closed, so I guess I’ll have to get my EB fix from the outlet stores or online. I love EB clothes but not this store anymore.
