Kelsun has been my go-​to place for 14 years, ever since we built a custom home with some far-​out lighting! They have every bulb known to man and make great recommendations if you’re not happy with the light quality of an existing bulb. They also recycle your old bulbs for free. One stop shopping for all your lighting bulb needs.

I donno about the bulbs yet. I came here 20 minutes ago and still waiting outside to have someone to help me. The office people are not at all helpful. I showed up twice just to remind them that I am waiting for someone to help me. They seemed like they just don’t care about customers. If you don’t like people to come around then why did you guys keep it open for customers. The only reason I came her because I wanted a bulb that my Home Depot didn’t have in stock and they referred me this place.

I’ve purchased from Kelsun countless times over the years. I’ve had really mixed experiences here. In my opinion, they are the eastside’s go-​to spot for bulbs, but recently they are often out of what I’ve needed. Super frustrating — especially since I’m specifically going to lightbulb mecca. I mean this is the only product you sell, right?
A younger guy has helped me a few times recently and sent me home with the wrong bulbs? Bummer. I’m totally the girl who bags up my burnt out bulbs to bring with me when I go to Kelsun to avoid any mishap. I simply show them what I need replaced and they go behind some mystery wall and bring back bulbs. Really frustrating to go through the trouble of showing them my old stuff only to have them send me home with the wrong bulbs.
Consistently the office people are pretty gruff. Being pleasant goes a long way. Especially since I go out of my way to support your store.

It’s like the Soup Nazi for light bulbs! If you are as retentive as I am about matching up your light bulbs, this is a place where you can take your burnouts, put them on the counter, and say, «I’ll take a dozen of these, please.» And then three minutes later they put them on the counter and ring you up. Just keep in mind this is not a retail store, not really, so don’t go in there and expect them to meet your every emotional need or listen with rapture about your home improvement project. But man, speaking as someone who used to waste 30 minutes at Home Depot trying to match up floodlights, spotlights, under-​cabinet lights, etc., I am so glad I found this place.

I immediately threw down the gauntlet when I walked in the door. «I need a 25 watt, R14, medium base.» Having given up my search for the illusive light bulb a number of months ago, I was surprised when the counterman was back in a flash with the bulb I had so long ago given up hope on finding. I bought two. Therefore, I may not be back there for a long time, but if I ever need to find an obscure light bulb, I know where to go. Oh and by the way, they may sell a bunch of other stuff here, but I was so excited with my find, I forgot to check.
