Overlake Medical Clinics Downtown Bellevue

I had been to this clinic many times over the last couple of years, and on a Saturday, I had a an urgent medical need where I needed a prescription called in. I called their answering service, and they told me they put a message in for the on call Dr, who was Dr Alex this day, and to call them back in 30 minutes if I did not receive a call back from the Dr. I did this every half hour, for 4 hours, before I gave up and went to urgent care, where, while it took several hours of waiting and vomiting in the waiting room, the exact prescription I was calling for, was written for me. I never did end up receiving a call back from the Dr, even though the answering service kept telling me that he got the message. It angers me to have never received a call back, and I will be going elsewhere for my primary care from now on. If they can’t help you when you need it, what is the point in going to them for your non-​urgent visits.

I am a nurse so I am very harsh with customer service. This clinic definitely met and exceeded my expectations as a nurse and a customer. Every employee that I encountered was attentive & courteous, introducing themselves. Never once did I feel I was being «herded» through. My wait time was even less than what was quoted! That never happens. These are the kind of people that make me once again proud to be in the medical field helping people :)

I had to find a place open later than 8 PM and thankfully they are open until 10 PM Monday through Friday.
Got there about 9:30 PM and the receptionist at the desk was very friendly and welcoming.
I was quickly in an exam room & met immediately with a medical assistant and waited about 15 minutes to see the physicians assistant.
What made this an amazing visit was it was after their closing time when I was seen by the physician’s assistant and he was clearly not in a hurry and asked very detailed and thorough questions about what I was experiencing.
He then gave me detailed explanations of the three issues he believe could be going on how they were treated and then prescribed me the medications he thought would be helpful.
I was extremely impressed with their level of professionalism and attention to detail and I will definitely be back if I need in urgent care with later hours.
Follow up review: I had a weird reaction to one of my medications from last nights visit and called them today.
They answered the phone very quickly and after explaining my situation I was speaking with the nurse in about 1 – 2 minutes. The nurse, Terri, was so kind, caring and genuinely governed. I came back in tonight, 1 day later and drove from Edmonds because of the excellent care.
The physicians assistant was thorough and clearly cared. She looked up some referrals and gave me the printouts.
The receptionist was very friendly and chatted with my wife while I was being being seen.
I cannot more highly recommend this urgent care clinic. Top quality care, easy access from 405 and parking right out front.

Very nice facility and pretty convenient. The ONLY problem is that parking is a major issue. They do have some offsite parking away from the facility, but I’m not sure where that is or how far it is. There is a lot of parking slots for Washington Federal, but beware that their is a parking attendant that will ticket your car if you park there and are not going to the bank.

This review is for Bellevue Urgent care clinic which has opened recently.
One of my family members had problems with urination after a minor surgery. We took him to Urgent care and they refused to see him and told us they aren’t able to put in catheters. We had to take him to Overlake ER where we got great service and got the catheter placed. The ER doc asked him to follow in the Primary clinic in a few days to get the catheter removed.
I called the office on his behalf to arrange for this and the receptionist told me to come to the Urgent care clinic. We go there and they tell us that doctor would see him but cannot guarantee that his catheter would be removed.
We had to take him to Overlake ER again to have this catheter removed which was completely uncomplicated procedure.
All of this was very frustrating. I don’t think the providers are even qualified to run this Urgent care!
I would never go back there again!

Great people. Great doctors and nurses. They’re awesome at their jobs and very educated. Checked in super fast and got called before I was even done with the paperwork. I left happy and with pamphlets!!! Thanks guys

Until about 1 week ago, this was a primary care facility for adults only. Same day appointments are allegedly available but in 2 years of being a patient here, I haven’t once been able to get a same day appointment, even calling when they first open in the morning. The facility has a few dedicated parking spots right in front, which in downtown Bellevue is gold. The staff consists of 2 or 3 doctors and a couple medical assistants. The facility is very neat and clean.
Now, there’s also Urgent Care! Same building, same offices, just urgent care added on. Monday through Saturday noon to 11pm I think.

My first time at this clinic today and I walked away with confidence and feeling much better. I didn’t get to see Dr. DeMoraes but I did see the Nurse Practicioner, Liz Schuringa (sp) and she was amazing. Very personable, understanding, and just wanted me to feel better. The ladies upfront were also very friendly and welcoming. No complaints here!!! I would recommend them to others.

Been going to this Overlake Medical Clinic for over a year. I don’t have a primary doctor, so I just go to medical clinics if I am not feeling well.
This clinic is conveniently located in downtown Bellevue. it is close to the Bellevue Transit Center on the corner of 108^th & NE 4^th in what previously was a bank building. I go here because it was close by to my workplace when I was working down there. It is convenient enough that you can go to your appointment and walk back to work if you are employed nearby.
There is parking in front of the building and I believe there is a lot you can use too. Though you should ask when booking the appointment what to do if the lot in front is full.
Intake process is pretty organized. They process your co-​pay and you fill out a form if you are new here. The wait to see the doctor though can vary. I have waited perhaps half hour in the exam room before the doctor enters, but I still am able to get out of here in an hour or so. If you don’t want to wait too long, it is best to schedule an appointment earlier in the day.
I have only come here with common problems like the flu, but I always felt like they were treating me with the upmost care. Even if it was mostly providing me with reassurance rather than fixing the problem with medicine.
If you are looking for a medical clinic convenient to downtown Bellevue, I would suggest this one. Particularly for those who work and live in this area.
