PANDA CLASS is a language and art studio located at the heart of Bellevue, featuring in language Mandarin Chinese lessons for both non-​native and semi-​native learners ages (K-​8^th). We also host small group art lessons for children (K-​8^th), emphasizing the freedom of artistic expressions while underlining essential art principals.

Both of our art and Chinese curriculum are taught by experienced teachers in a free and interactive environment. We allow children the full capacity to express who they are, what they believe, and what they want to say by providing visual, auditory, and interactive examples and expressions. The PANDA CLASS goal is for all of our students to acquire art and language skills in order to fully narrate their thoughts and expand their imagination.

History

Established in 2010.

Panda Class was founded to meet the needs for people of all ages to learn how to freely express their thoughts, emotions and individuality.

Our Mandarin Chinese classes allows non-​native or semi-​native families an opportunity to interactively learn practical everyday oral and written language.

Our art classes, allow children to access their creativity through core art principals and methodologies.

Business Owner

As an educator, I have been working with children (K-​8^th) for over 10 years in various programs and schools such as the Sponge school, Bush school, STS, OPW, YMCA, Gymboree, BSA and ELL. I am a children’s art instructor as well as a native Chinese language instructor. I have been teaching art to children for over a decade with a background in architecture. Mandarin Chinese is my native language, I have learned to read and write at the age of 3, and strongly believes in early learning. I became introduced to Mandarin teaching, through working for Sponge as their lead Mandarin teacher 3 different center sites and schools.

In 2010, my husband and I co-​founded PANDA CLASS and its been wonderful. Out goal is for our studio to become a place where children can develop creative/​individual thinking and learning abilities. In order to best express their uniqueness, diversity and individuality through oral and visual outlets.
