I see that Jessica at Pipeline’s office has finally made a kind of response. Unfortunately, too little, too late.
Jessica: the time to respond to my concerns was when I first spoke with you on the phone. Or after I sent you the email you requested. Or after I sent _​another_​email asking you to at least confirm that you’d received the first one (you didn’t reply to that one either).
It’s pretty clear your reply is more about damage control than about fixing the problem, since you could have easily just contacted me directly rather than replying here. There is ample detail in my review for you to know which customer of yours I am. Honestly, how many other customers could you possibly have named «Peter», who had a shower valve replaced this year, and who had already spoken with you about their dissatisfaction with the job?
If you’re really not able to match my complaint to your records, our experience must be just the tip of the iceberg.
Fact is, at this point we’ve accepted the shoddy work and moved on. Even if we were prepared to have our bathroom and the other side of the wall torn up again (and we’re not), I doubt your company is actually prepared to do everything it would take to make things right (which includes replacing the shower surround, since I doubt the damage to it can simply be patched, due to the type of brittle material it’s made of).
