Ginny and her staff at Running Elements are wonderful, they really took the time to make sure that I was in the right pair shoes for me. Even when this meant finding a different pair! I cannot say enough about their service and knowledge, great buying experience :-)

This is the best store to get shoes! I have tons of feet problems. I went into Running Elements to see if maybe they could fit me with some shoes. I met with Kevin. He was great. He spent over an hour with me. We tried on at least 10 pairs of shoes and insoles. He set me up with the best pair of shoes I have ever had. I have been wearing them for over a month now with no issues with my feet. If you have needs for new shoes I would go to Running Elements!

I went to Running Elements yesterday because I had almost (not quite) given up on finding the right pair of walking shoes for my long, thin, high arch feet. I do a lot of walking and have suffered from buying the wrong shoes. I had done some research on my own, but wanted someone with expertise to guide me to the shoes that would best fit my needs. Ginny spent a lot of time sharing her knowledge and expertise and examined my walk before trying on any shoes. I knew I was in capable hands! I left the store in my new Asics and my feet are still thanking me.
If you appreciate superior service and want the best shoes for your feet, this is the place.
I happily recommend Running Elements on Main Street in Bellevue.

We bought a pair of shoes for a flat footed person. Ginny is very knowledgeable, and is very efficient. She has a nice selection of great shoes. She also wasn’t pushy, and we happily purchased the shoes. Would defly go here to analyze the gait and find a good she. But before buying please check the market price of your shoe. We came home and realized that the shoes that we paid $ 115+ tax for, cost only $ 70 on amazon.

I’ve always hated running. Growing up as a heavy dude, it naturally was torture to go through. The pain. The time. The sun and fresh air. Ugh, horrible, right?
This year I decided to seriously lose weight and dropped 50 pounds. Activity wise, it had a lot to do with cardio. Running became a lot easier and I surprisingly started to prefer it over lifting weights.
Having never taken this stuff seriously, I decided to try and go into a shop and get some professional opinions on a shoe rather than choosing off the rack at some store.
The staff here is great. The service, passion, and knowledge alone would bring me back here. The two ladies working were able to analyze the way I walk and determine a good fit for me. I could tell they were very passionate not just in running, but also in helping me. They were kind enough to answer any of my dumb questions and even let me jog and watch me try on several sizes of different pairs until they could determine my stride was solid.
I took my new shoes on the track the same day and I have no complaints. 10/​10, would recommend and gladly revisit.

Went in after I found out my normal store had closed down. The staff there was very knowledgeable and spent time examining my old shoes, walking, running, and showing me just about every option of running shoe available. Great place and l know where to go for my running gear now.

As good as it gets when it comes to a store selling running shoes!
I came in here looking for new shoes as my personal trainer noticed a case of overpronation when I lifted weights or went running… he wanted me to get equipped with new shoes prior to running an upcoming 15k race. The staff at Running Elements really took the time to analyze my stride in various running shoes prior to making a recommendation for the Brooks Ariel model of shoes that would stabilize my feet and make my runs a lot smoother.
Cut to two weeks later and I started getting shooting pains in my left ankle and the only variable that had really changed was the inclusion of the new running shoes — I decided to go back to the store to see if I needed a change of shoes or perhaps more arch support — I was starting to get nervous because my race is coming up in 6 weeks. Both the owner and the staff member (who had helped me out on my first visit) remembered me from my previous visit and were extremely helpful in offering a resolution to my case — they were generous not only with their time and knowledge but extremely patient with me through the process. Basically, as a forefoot striker, I was extremely comfortable with my old running shoes and those worked best with my form where as the new Brooks Ariel will continue to help stabilizing my foot during cross training or even at work.
I feel so much better now that I am outfitted with the right shoes for my day-​to-​day activities and I have come out of the store being a lot more informed about running stances, strides and what to look out for!

I have very picky feet and take forever to pick out shoes – especially running shoes. They were very patient and I think I tried on every shoe in the store. Unfortunately they didn’t have my size in the shoe that seemed best so they offered to call me when they get a new shipment. Would definitely go back.

MECCA of running equipment, that’s what this place is about. If that is not enough for someone to go here, how about the best assistance for all your fitness need sound like. I was amazed how passionate people can be. Ginny and her son-​in-​law, both are runners and understand individual needs. Its always a pleasure to see real person who are not trying to sell you stuff, but people who help you find what you need.

After reading reviews (including the filtered ones), I decided to give this store a shot and bought some running shoes. Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful. He watched me walk barefoot, then selected 3 pairs of shoes he thought would support my stride and they do! He then watched me run in each pair before suggesting the best one.
He also gave me tips on how to find more running shoes in the future. I was glad to support the business and the shoes I bought were also locally based.

OUTSTANDING service for seasoned runners and new runners. The managers showed a tremendous love for running, and genuinely wanted to help. They had a deep understanding of running bio-​mechanics and enhanced my own knowledge of my walking/​running gait. They also have a great selection of running shoe brands (according to co-​owner, Brooks Running Shoes was a backer of the store opening). Will recommend to friends and family.

I first came to Running Elements with Team in Training for a clinic. Our coach Kevin (who is a manager at the store) gave excellent advice, as well as service. I picked up some super feet for my shoes and it really helped my running! I went back for a second time to buy some new shoes as my marathon has been getting closer. Ginny spent a ton of time with me making sure that the fit was right, I have had some issues with my old insert in the new shoes and will be going back for what I know will be amazing service!
Their passion for running and personal experience is what really makes a difference. I actually found the shoes to be a good price too!

Although Running Elements is a new store, I have been buying shoes and gear from Ginny since 2004 when I did my first marathon. I commute from Seattle to support this business and welcome their friendly service and quality products. They stock top quality and focused gear. They really know their products and genuinely care about how the shoes or merchandise work for their customers.
When I first started, I didn’t know a thing about the right shoe. Ginny didn’t talk over my head but rather took the time to help me understand what elements were important. To say that she’s an avid runner is an understatement. She and her team talk to you from a place of complete understanding vs. regurgitating information.
Supporting small and local businesses are important to me and I hope that you’ll go in to see them for your athletic needs and excellent customer service!

Ginny (the owner) came highly recommended from my physical therapist, and I’d have to agree.
She spent an inordinate amount of time with me, helping me to try on a ridiculous number of shoes and find the ones that worked. We ended up finding 2 different pairs that fit and felt good within the guidelines from my PT, so she suggested I take them both and return one later.
Not only that, but when she found out that I still ran in cotton socks, she was so convinced that I’d like the microfiber socks better that she GAVE me a pair! (and yes, now I’m totally sold).
Fantastic customer service, top notch all around.

I came in here because I love supporting local small businesses. Shoes were a little overpriced, the displays were a little all over the place & Ginny was more interested in bad mouthing her neighboring businesses than anything, I was like «WHO CARES?» I was a little dismayed, but I did buy something because I was already in there.

Ginny Morris who is the best in knowing everything about running, walking and jogging is the owner — she was my TNT coach a couple of years ago and has been fitting me in running gear ever since. The store is very welcoming and everyone is extremely knowledgeable. I decided to purchase Kangoo Jumps for my husband and I. Great workout gets me back outside running again. Bottom line: Great Store, Great People, Great Products! A real value add to downtown Bellevue!

Awesome store! I used to buy my shoes from Ginny when she was at Foot Zone and Running Elements is a huge improvement! They have a great selection of shoes and apparel and Ginny is the best in the business!
I can’t wait to join her Tuesday night running club– 6pm, at the store! In the meantime I’m going to try out the new pair of Mizunos she just put me in :)

Update! It turned out I did come back. After two weeks of running in my new shoes, although I didn’t feel much, I found blood clog under one of my left toe nail. I came back to Running Elements, and Ginny said I needed one size larger. She replaced mine with a new pair. I am really impressed by their service quality!

Nerd alert! Get started on a bio-​mechanics conversation with the owner, your eyes will glaze over and your brain exploe! But these are nice folks, just opened, and know their stuff! I was here today, as part of the team in training marathon for Leukemia/​Lymphoma. These guys were super supportive getting us started as new runners. I had already had a nice pair of Brooks that my podiatrist recommended. However, they showed me a pair of Saucony that gave me much better heal support, yet still had the great wide toe area that I like.
They were all super friendly, did a gait analysis for us to make sure we got the right shoe, and sounded like they meant it when they said they would be there for service after the sale as well with any questions.
The only reason I do not give it a 5 yet, is because I have not had to go back in to see how post-​sales support is, and I don’t rate anything a 5 unless they are able to take care of me successfully when I have a problem, unless I have a very long term relationship.
Clean store, they carry Saucony, Aasics and Brooks. Great shoes, and know what they are doing, very supportive of the community.
Definitely plan to even bring my kids back, however, to get fitted for shoes for track, etc.
