Yummy yummy in my tummy. I love Thai and Vietnamese food. This place has some kickass bamboo royal with chicken. Try the spice level 5 to get your taste buds rolling!

I wish that the owner can see this review. I and my friend went this place for lunch today. There are not many people there, but we were waiting for almost 10 min to order and even the guy who taking orders, just ignored us. I kind of complained about this. But he just pretended he doesn’t understand me and asked me «YOUDON’T WANTTOORDER ?» very loud. I don’t know his name but he is very rude. I noticed that we don’t have chopstick, so I asked him if we can get chopsticks, he said«DON’T ASKMEAGAIN.» WOW, I can’t believe what he said. and then I heard that this guy told another server that«„DONOTSERVETHEIRMEALQUICKLY“» so, our food got delayed I can describe the guy who are taking order today. His hair color was black with no dying, slim and without glasses. We ‘ll never come back this place.

The parking lot is horrible, but they make up for it in how delicious the food is. Especially good for their large selection of dishes.

I’d give this place zero or negative stars if I could. Shittiest customer service ever. We walked in around 8:58 wanting to get phở, and before we even sat down the host was like«the kitchen is closing in a minute or so and depends on what we are ordering they might not make it» Your hours say 9:30– if your kitchen closes at 9 then update your hours online to say 9 or at least mention it so we don’t drive all the way here for you to kick us out. She didn’t look happy to see us and as soon as we walked she looked at her clock, she grabbed the menus and was looking at her clock. We will be happy to spend our money somewhere else and never come back or recommend your restaurant.

Stood out side for 10 minutes after 11 am then they opened & they just said sorry we forgot. Ordered phở & bun bo hue. Broth tasted like old muddy/murky leftovers & the spicy broth tasted like old spoiled seafood paste respectively. Won’t return for sure!

This place shows that Vietnamese food is so much more fun phở. They have so many rice, noodle, and vermicelli dishes and they are all done pretty well! I got the mango chicken entrée with brown rice. First, it’s super cool that they have brown rice — for no extra charge too! The mangos were very fresh and sweet and went really well with the chicken and peppers. I opted to not go too spicy on the sauce, but I probably should have as it the sweet and spicy combo would have worked well. Their summer rolls are also really fresh! They’re also different from others in that they put a little crunchy thing in their rolls, sort of like the skin of an egg roll, and it adds such a different texture to it that makes the experience so much better! Overall, this is a really good neighborhood spot that offers up pretty reasonably priced healthy and vegetarian friendly dishes! It has a really clean and welcoming environment and the service was fast and attentive. Definitely worth trying!

Wonderful appetizers and entrees. Friendly hospitality and our favorite beers. Reasonable prices, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Love the green tea ice cream for dessert, can’t quite say the same for the seemingly out of place banana cake. Square Lotus has become one of our most favorite local dining options. Parking on the side as well in the main parking for QFC and other stores.

Very tasty vegetarian pseudo-meats and nearly their entire menu has a vegetarian option. This is also the only Vietnamese restaurant which I’ve seen offer a vegetarian phở. I highly recommend their Lotus salad to meat eaters and vegetarians alike as it offers a uniquely refreshing and incredibly flavorful experience.

Viet for suburbia. It’s def a place for people to do work lunch, not for people who are looking for the authentic experience. Okay for the intended purpose, but don’t come here otherwise.

This place gets my full votes! Square Lotus conveniently located inside the Factoria Village(behind are the T-Mobile HQ towers), is cute and reasonably spaced out, greatly exceeded my expectations for imitation meat variations! It was a Friday evening(Apr 15, 2016), the dining-house was obviously tightly packed. The hubby and me couldn’t stop noticing at the busy attenders as well. The minute we entered waitress promptly showed up and gave us a comfortable seating. Liked their ambience, the cozy set up was impressive & welcoming! The restaurant offers an extensive menu with lots of Veg & Non-Veg options to choose from. We directly jumped into their main menu, couldn’t wait to try their Veg imitation meat dishes, being a huge fan of this variation style already. We ordered, Main Course # Beef Egg Noodle(V) [$ 11.95] — Opted for crispy noodles(tried for the first time and without a doubt, a HIT!) and asked for highest level of spiciness. You can’t go wrong with this, it added great yumminess and tasted awesomely flavorful. The veggies carrots, broccoli with fried tofu and the sauce blended well with the crunchy noodles, summing up with just-the-right portion size. # Lotus Curry Chicken(V) with extra Rice [$ 10.95 + $ 1.50] — Coconut milk added great flavor to the spicy curry sauce(being a spice addict, we increased it’s level), cooked well with fresh bell peppers, eggplants, carrots. Loved this with the side of rice. All in all, a delicious combo! Desserts # Mango Sticky Rice [$ 5.75] — My husband’s all time favorite, thankfully did not disappoint him. I too got a share of this scrumptious dessert. Happy face! # Mango flavored Ice Cream Scoops [$ 3.95] — Well, I don’t wanna miss the chance of grabbing an Asian flavor and when spotted Mango in their menu, couldn’t wait to try it. YUM! YUM! YUM! Appreciate the generous serving of scoops. Server, Trang, did a fantastic job by serving us attentively. Overall, we both walked out of the restaurant with tummy full and big smile. Surely, this is a perfect place for dinner! P.S Big Thanks to Unilocal for showing us the right place!

Vegetarian lives around Bellevue and struck with the below average Indian restaurants. then you have find a paradise in Square Lotus. They have a complete Vegetarian menu and the food tastes awesome. Great food, good ambience and placed in good location(factoria mall). Wanted to rate 5 star but gave only 4 star on this review as they do not have a «Kids Menu».

Good spot for a quick bowl of phở! I enjoyed the meatball and rare beef phở. Simple and filling. Service is fast and efficient. I like that they have a parking lot, but I was a bit turned off by a fly who was buzzing around.

It was not my first time ordering take out Phở from this place, but would be the last one. First thing, when ordered over the phone I was asked about size and answered«large». When I came to pick it up, it was medium(«because we have only medium and Superbowl», which would be nice to be mentioned at time of order). Then they redid the order, added second small bowl of broth and hopefully some meat. When I came home I found second bowl was filled just 1⁄3

I’ve had a lot of different dishes from Square Lotus on my visits to Seattle. My favorite is the mango salad. On this last trip I had Vietnamese Sour Soup(good), Lemongrass Tofu(good), Lemongrass Noodle Bowl(OK), and mango salad(always good). It’s a good place for lunch even when crowded but not great. Servers tend to be somewhat aloof, disinterested and not around when you need one. I feel that his could a much better place if management wanted it to be, because most of the food is pretty good.

Haven’t been back here for a long time. Since I now work close by, I decided to give it another chance. It’s a very popular place during lunch time, good thing I came in right before the lunch rush. Ordered their duck noodle soup and it was not bad. Broth was light, bamboo shoots was tender. Decent portion for the duck salad, and the ginger sauce was pretty good. Overall I’m pretty satisfied with my food. Service was ok, food came out quick and I got my check even before I’m ready to pay.

Nice seating areas. Menu looks daunting but it’s split for vegetarians. Service is pretty quick – we were seated immediately on a Saturday during lunch hour. Tropical rolls: nice balance between vermicelli noodles and fillings – most places overload in the noodles! The mangos give the rolls a nice tang but it can be an acquired taste for those who are used to the regular rice paper rolls. Ginger Salmon: sauce is a bit on the sweet side and there is only a hint of ginger. Tasty and very filling. The veggies were cook just right — still had a nice crunch to them. Soft egg noodle: tasted great and veggies were fresh. Italian soda: not as fizzy as some other places but still hella sweet.

Great service, great food — tried 4 items, 3 of the 4 were a hit with me. I think compared to Seattle, this joint would fall more on the 3⁄5 stars group. The prices here are a bit higher, the food isn’t mind-blowing. But even in the scope of those things, I enjoyed the food. I was shut out by a nearby sushi restaurant because they only take cash/check. Oy! I only had $ 3 in cash with me which wouldn’t have gotten me very far! But it was sort of for the best because it drove me to check out Square Lotus! I ordered the Hermit Shrimp, Chicken Skewer, Beef Skewer, and Summer Rolls. The Beef Skewer was not very good — it was heeellla dry. No thank you. I think the flavors were alright but the meat was more like beef jerky. The chicken, however, was delicious! Super moist, flavorful, very good with the peanut sauce and a little bit of jasmine rice. Mmmm! The Summer Rolls were fantastic. I ordered the shrimp version and I couldn’t be more happy with this dish. Really generous portion too — 4 rolls with a healthy serving of peanut sauce. Great for sharing or a small lunch! I love that they put fresh mint(?) in there — keeps the flavors interesting and fresh! My favorite dish was the Hermit Shrimp. Lovely little triangular cone thingies, lightly fried, delicious veggies and shrimp, served with a flavorful plum sauce. I’d definitely order this again. Unfortunately, I didn’t try an actual entrée or main dish but can’t wait to come back and try some!

Pretty good! My mom loves this place, so I’ve been here a few times before. Admittedly, I’m not really a phở fan(yeah. I said it.), but my mom is, and apparently this is the only place she can eat phở now… so I am guessing it’s prettay good. Sometimes we have to wave down a server in order to actually order food or ask for our check, etc etc, but everyone there is very nice and accommodating. We usually ask for hot water, and rather than just bringing a cup for each of us, they always bring it in a whole teapot so that’s a plus! On to actual foods and recommendations: On our most recent visit, we had the egg rolls(pretty standard phở egg rolls…), batter-fried shrimp, phở chin(phở my mom), and Square Lotus curry(phở meee!). Aaaaand I will stop making parenthetical phở puns now. The batter-fried shrimp and egg rolls are both solid appetizers. For specifics, you get nine pretty large batter-fried shrimp that come with a sweet sauce, popped rice-crisp bowl things(eloquent, I know), and cilantro that I hope wasn’t supposed to be decorative. It’s pretty nice and different from a standard egg/spring roll appetizer, so try it out! My Square Lotus curry was super creamy. The eggplant in it was SOGOOD, and I believe they use Asian eggplants, which are smaller, sweeter, and very tender compared to the typical American ones. In general, though, I would recommend their red curry because otherwise the Square lotus curry doesn’t tend to have that much vegetable variation, and the red curry base seems more flavorful. The chicken is pretty unbelievably tender regardless of the curry, though. For our 4 plates, it came to around $ 37. Portions were generous and we had leftovers for 3 of our dishes to take home, so I would say the prices are unexpectedly low and therefore awesome!!!

Unsure why I have never been here before as I work right behind it. I ordered a late lunch to go, Spicy and Sweet Chicken and Brown Rice with some Tropical Rolls. EVERYTHING was delicious and light ! I ordered the chicken four stars and it was perfectly spicy, all fresh nothing overcooked. The vegetables were extremely crunchy, and I don’t even like Broccoli that much but ate every last piece as it was so perfectly cooked. The Tropical Rolls were delicious and light as well. Filled with Mango, Chicken and Rice Noodles wrapped in lettuce. The Peanut sauce was yummy as well and I liked how the rolls were wrapped two together as they stored nicely in the fridge for later. Lately I haven’t had any real five star ratings that I enjoyed the food that much to give five stars but Square Lotus deserves this five star rating, I will be back to try more items off their large menu.
