Take Aim

Our class came here to get our CCW certification this evening, and the first thing I noticed was the relative cleanliness of this range. Sure there are casings around, but the air condition is so much better here than in other unspoken ranges. I live closer to another range in Millard, but go here just because of this. No sweet lips here.

This is a very nice facility. You have to purchase their targets, which seem to be made with thicker material and it makes total sense to me since I have seen fires ignite from target pieces at other ranges. I like the idea that they offer discounts on annual membership to LEO and military (active duty, retired and veterans). Staff have been friendly on each of my visits. Its really nice to be able to fire off a few rounds and not have to worry about having to pick up the brass!

I was excited when an indoor gun range opened in Bellevue. It is a great place to shoot. The owners and employees are very friendly and helpful whether you are an experienced shooter or a novice just learning about weapons. I took my concealed carry class there and the instructor was very knowledgeable and did a fine good of conveying the material in the classroom as well as being patient and helpful in the shooting range. If you are looking for a nice, friendly, clean, and inexpensive place to shoot indoors, Take Aim is the gun range for you. Check it out.

My husband wanted to say the following about Take Aim «I’ve been to many gun ranges and this one is by far the best. It’s modern, clean and the staff are very polite, knowledgable and fun to spend time with. Take Aim is perfect for new and seasoned shooter alike. They have free coffee (!) as well as a great selection of snacks and sodas. They regularly run training classes and sometimes have promotions if you check Facebook (like them now).
Prices are very good and they have a small collection of quality reloaded ammo for sale. They don’t rent guns but this place is literally perfect for gun owners to meet up and shoot. Thankfully, safety is paramount and I’m confident they deal with any issues politely and professionally.
To me, their differentiators are professionalism, service and modern facilities. Have you ever been to a gun range with good intentions and felt anxious, unwelcome and out of place? I have and I know this place is different.

Great place to shoot! I am a beginner and they were extremely welcoming. I even got some great tips on sighting my new rifle. Will be back very soon!

Have been here 3 times since we moved to the area a few months ago. I had never been to an indoor range before (always had nice weather and went to outdoor ranges), and was afraid it would be loud, dirty, or crowded.
I was pleasantly surprised. We did have to wait a bit for our lane, but the staff was very friendly, the facility is super clean (even the ladies room), they have plenty of tables and chairs to wait, and their prices aren’t too unreasonable.
Overall a pretty great experience. I will always prefer shooting outdoors, but this place is pretty great if that’s not an option.

Came with three other coworkers today. Had to wait a few minutes due to it being busy, but once we got in, it was good to go. Great for pistol work but I’d rather have me than 25 meters to practice with a rifle. The staff is constantly picking up brass which is nice and they are super nice. I’ll be coming back. Best part? It was cheap fun!

I’ve been there a couple of times now and thoroughly enjoyed all visits. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. It would be nice to have seats and a shelf in the back of the lanes for loading but like another I wouldn’t like a bench. This is a great place to shoot and the price is reasonable.

I had the opportunity to take my 3 sons-​in-​law for some target practice on the day after Thanksgiving, which we decided would be more productive than doing the Black Friday shopping drill. This was my first visit to this new indoor range in Bellevue. The owner was very helpful, even providing a free replacement target when my old eyes had trouble seeing the dark colored one I initially picked out.
I do agree with Joe M.‘s suggestion of some benches in the staging area. The «next up» shooter had to sit on the floor to reload mags, which for those of us with bad knees was an inconvenience.
There is classroom space, and some ammo is available for sale. We had our own ammo so didn’t check prices, but prices for lane rental & targets seemed reasonable. Will plan on a return visit next time I’m in Bellevue.

Take Aim I found to be a very good time. Bob the owner gave us a first rate tour. He was informative and stressed safety. I also found the prices to be very reasonable. We can not wait to go back.

I’m not sure if they intended to Take Aim directly at the Bullet Hole in La Vista when building this range, but they’re on the right track. At only 10 min further from my residence they provide some serious competition.
Take Aim has two divided bays (like the BH) with five lanes in each bay (BH has 12 total). The target holders are stout and the target adjustment system is digital and top of the line care of Action Target. A digital readout lets you know the exact yardage your target is set at.
If that wasn’t enough, the other shining features include lighting, ventilation and sound proofing. Shooting at the BH you feel like you’re in a cave (terrible lighting) and I sweat every time. At Take Aim it is nice and bright and I stayed cool during my visit. I also noticed the sound proofing was better. I wasn’t nearly as disturbed by other shooters as I am at the BH.
One «negative» that is bound to come up is cost. You’ll pay $ ¹¹⁄₃₀ min at Take Aim. I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than one hour at an indoor range so $ 22 is a small price to pay for keeping my skills and manipulations up to par.
You won’t find knives or guns for sale at Take Aim and it looked like the ammo selection was limited, but I didn’t inquire about it. Like the BH, you must purchase targets from the range at a cost of 50 cents to $ 1.00/per target. Fairly standard and no big deal.
Instead of a gun shop you get a large lobby with seating, a TV and a refrigerator. There are some plastic tables to set your gear on while you sign in, pay and get ready to shoot. Once you head through the door to the range hallway there are no benches. This kind of threw me off as I think putting on eyes and ears in the lobby might be a bit awkward. Nothing I can’t get used to.
Last but not least you can fire FMJ ammo from your rifle. This is one major gripe I have against the BH. Then again on my last visit to the BH I saw steel casings from rifle rounds on the ground. They don’t pay much attention.
