Kepco Appliance Installation

I have had a horrible experience w Kepco Installation. I ordered my dishwasher online about two weeks ago. Kepco left me a message that it would be delivered on Friday but they can’t give you a time frame until the day before. Then they called and left a message on Thursday that the delivery time would be between 9 — 1 on Friday but I have to call them to confirm this time frame. It took several calls to Kepco to get through to confirm the time frame. The first two calls I stayed on hold for 10 — 15 minutes to no avail. So I hung up and tried again later — each time waiting 10 mins or more just in my attempt to confirm the time frame and let them know it worked. Then on Friday at 12:45 the delivery guy calls and said he can’t deliver because my unit was damaged at the warehouse. After I had waited half the day and taken time off of work, he told me I needed to call Kepco again to reschedule. So the process of not being able to get through the Kepco line started all over again. And this has to happen twice — once to get your delivery day and then again you have to call them to confirm the time they give you via phone message. You will get very familiar with the music on their wait line. Today, after I waited for 15 minutes to confirm my new time frame, the gal came on the first thing she said was «can you hold». Good luck if you get stuck with this delivery company.

Tried to get a hold of them to confirm a time for a dishwasher installation. They called me but the call went right into my voicemail (conviniently for them) and the automated message was indeciferable and unclear as to whether they were actually coming or not. So I called them back to try to confirm the time/​date. I just waited on hold for 30 minutes. A lady came on at 25 minutes to tell me they would be right with me. Put me on hold again. I waited another 5 minutes and then they just hung up on me. Just awful service and logistics

Had to call Lowe’s 3 times just to get Kepco to give me the call to schedule an appointment (took them over a week to call me the first time).
Had to call them 4 times more to schedule a second appointment once the first one didn’t work out.
Terrible administrative organization. Get your act together!

We bought a dishwasher from Lowes and was installed through Kepco. Our installer was Mark and he was great! Prompt and on schedule and even gave us a call 30 minutes before to let us know he was coming, which was great because i was not at the house.
Mark was quick, thorough, and professional. He went above and beyond for me and I would definitely use his service again.

I changed my review from a 1 to a 3 since Ken, the owner reached out to me. They also usually do very good work, but the lack of being accessible is still very frustrating.

I will not be able to bring any future business back to Kepco. Consider the facts:
–Took roughly five business days before getting a call to schedule install, once called I had to wait another 4 – 5 days for availability.
–Service window was 3 – 7:00pm and installer finally showed up right at 7pm
–His first complaint was a heavy sigh when he saw my 17 stairs to be climbed to get to the kitchen. Perhaps this is why the dishwasher itself never did make it up the stairs — more to come on that.
–Before beginning to address my install, he spent the first 7 – 10 minutes telling me what a rough afternoon he had, driving all over north Orange County due to bad scheduling by his dispatcher.
–Next comes the second heavy sigh — «There’s no way your dishwasher will fit. You need a shorter height.» He spent the next ten minutes telling me about his long career of trying to fit a standard dishwasher into a space such as mine — which is standard height, by the way.
–Dishwasher never left his delivery truck, never came up the stairs, never came out of the box.
It’s now been 30 days since our first dishwasher crapped out and the same dishwasher will be installed today (after being brought up the stairs and taken out of the cardboard) by a different install company that ~hopefully~ is a bit more focused on the customer’s satisfaction, rather than their own.

I called in today to say that Kyle was an great installer who obviously enjoyed what he did for a living! WOW! Thank you Kyle for the great work and I will continue to buy my appliances from sears in order to get kepco appliance installation.

Kyle installed a dishwasher for me today, he is the most professional young man I’ve ever dealt with. He goes above and beyond to get the job done! He deserves to be a manager ;)

Unbelievably horrible service. I called them four times during the week during the ‘work” hours. Each time I got a recording saying «sorry, we’re on lunch break, now.»
No response to my messages.
After calling Sears 5 times, I finally got a response scheduling my garbage disposal installation 12 days after I bought it. I doubt the’ll show up. A friend of my used them, and they broke the granite counter, but would not acknowlege responsibility for it.

Kepco Appliance Installation and their installer Mark are by far the worst installation company I have ever had to work with. We had a dishwasher bought from Lowes. Mark, the installer called 2 hrs early for the scheduled appt. and said we either had to get it installed then or make another appt. I had no choice but to accept or wait another 2 – 4 weeks. He came and didn’t even run a test to see if it was working. He just shoved a paper in my face to sign and he left. It didn’t work and never drained. We had to wait 3weeks again for them to come and fix it Then this installer Mark came to our house, very unprepared, made a huge mess of our kitchen and made My wife clean it up. She literally had to babysit this guy, Mark. I’m very angry with every thing this guy did and didn’t do both
times he came. He came with nothing to sweep or clean up after himself both times. I had to clean up after him the first time. This second time he brought a shop-​vac into our kitchen and proceeded to empty it out and clean out the dirty dusty filter right in our kitchen and blow dust everywhere my wife had to insist he take it outside! So he dumped all the dirt on our doorstep. This guy is an idiot and an asshole and you shouldn’t let him in your house much less install anything.
I could have installed the dishwasher myself and have done a way better job. At least I would have read the instructions first. It was obvious from the start it was as if he has never installed anything before and this was his first time.
The initial installation was bad. Brand
new dishwashers if installed correctly should work. Finally It seems Kepco treats their customers like an annoyance and all they want is your money so they overcharge and do less than acceptable work. This should be –4stars not +1star

I ordered a dishwasher and had the absolute best service and installation from Dave B. He worked quick, clean and fixed all of the issues that the competitors at Temco could not. Absolute great service dealing with Kepco and Dave B!

I ordered a dishwasher from
on Nov. 9, 2015. The produce was delivered to warehouse on Nov. 18, 2015. Until today, Dec. 2, 2015, we didn’t get any call from installation company about installation schedule. I got installation company info from sears. It is Kepco Appliance installation. I spent hours trying to call them. Always automatic voice machine. Fortunately, I finally got Ken from Kepco to help me. He is really nice. Quick response and good communications. Finally, the dishwasher is installed on Dec. 3. The work was done pretty well. The installer is really helpful to fix leaking problem and install the dishwasher quick and well. Thanks.

Jesse did a fantastic job installing my new dishwasher. He arrived early in the scheduled time window and finished quickly. I would use Kepco for my future appliance installation needs.

Mark installed a dishwasher at my apartment extremely efficiently. He showed up at the beginning of the time slot and was finished within 30 minutes! This was on a Sunday which was supposed to be his day off. He did a great job and was very nice.

Mark came to install my cooktop and did an excellent job. He even helped clean up afterward (I didn’t ask him to, he offered) — my previous cooktop was glass and had shattered and was very messy, to say the least. The install was very fast, everything looks good so far, Mark was nice and I’m happy. I would call back Mark to install other appliances.
I certainly didn’t have problems like with the other reviewers. I bought the cooktop through Home Depot and ordered the install through them. They did take a while to call but I don’t know if that’s because of Home Depot or Kepco. I was just fine though, I didn’t even want them to come for a couple weeks cause I had a holiday (Veteran’s) off so I wanted them to come on that day. Four stars though because first they called to tell me 1 to 5, then changed to 12 to 4, not a problem, then showed up around 10:30. Earlier was great for me, it meant more time for the rest of the day, but it bothered me because if I didn’t have the whole day off, I wouldn’t have been home when they got there. Also all this scheduling happened the day before install but it seems like all Home Depot deliveries & installations happen this way, like you just pick the date and are given the time the day before (it was that way for my refrigerator, washer, and dryer).

I bought two toilets at Lowe’s and paid for installation. Lowe’s assigned Kepco to install them. I was concerned with the reviews I found on Unilocal,but decided to let them go ahead with the job anyway, and am glad I did. Kepco sent an employee by the name of Dave, and he was great, very patient, took his time, and did a good, clean job. I definitely recommend them.

I bought a new dishwasher from Lowe’s a couple of weeks ago and was told the installers would contact me the next day to schedule installation. Not hearing from them the next day, I called Lowe’s to inquire and was told I would hear from them by the end of the day. I didn’t hear from them again and again called Lowe’s to find out what was going on. The earliest appointment available was an entire week later (today), which was unfortunate but fine.
I received a voicemail yesterday telling me the installer would be here between 11 and 3. A few hours later I received another voicemail telling me the installer would be here between 10 and 2. The installer showed up at 9am today.
All that being said, the installer, Mark, was great. He was nice, efficient, and I am overall pleased with the installation.

I received a new stove from Sears. When the Kepco installation people arrived they were rude and attempted to charge me more. When I told them I would need to call the company they said they did not have time to wait and left. Worst service ever. I can’t understand why Sears would work with this company.

Home Depot uses this company. I will never buy appliances from Home Depot again specifically for this reason. First issue– They installed our washing machine with the water hoses reversed so if you wash on cold, its hot and vice versa. We had a never ending battle with Home Depot to send someone out to correct it. Finally after about a month, they sent out this company. They corrected the hoses but then they left the dryer disconnected. When we called for them to fix it, they scheduled our appointment a week away. So first no washer for a month and then no dryer for an additional week. In my opinion, if you screw something up, you should jump on it at the first opportunity and not leave the customer hanging. They are not accommodating whatsoever. If you buy appliances, ask who does the install. If its Kepco, go somewhere else.

I received a new dishwasher from Sears and been waiting for the installers to call me.
After 4 days, I called the company to schedule an installation. The earliest date was for a week and a half later (?!) .
I really want to install it myself but I’ll lose the warranty. So I’ll just keep staring at the huge box in the middle of my kitchen for another week and a half
