Claire received her master of science in mental health counseling from the WWU CACREP accredited mental health counseling program. She has been highly involved in the mental health and queer communities of Bellingham for many years. Claire got her start in mental health working for Interfaith Community Health Clinic. She has also worked for Sean Humphrey House, a local non-​profit organization serving people with HIV/​AIDS, and Northwest Youth Services, a local non-​profit serving youth and their families. Claire has been the program coordinator for Queer Youth Project for many years and loves the challenge and rewards of working with the queer youth population. Claire currently provides private counseling on nights and weekends, and works as a career and admissions counselor for Job Corps. She works, plays, and lives in Bellingham Washington.
