Mostly a Chinese cafeteria style. Food was good. Staff was friendly. Definitely will return

I think the name should not be Hawaiian BBQ it’s mostly Chinese food. No lulus, manapua, Loco moco, musibi, or any other Hawaiian food(besides some Katsu or BBQ plater). I had the Katsu. Not a fan. Katsu sauce was watery, fried rice was over cooked and sweet and the mac salad had way yo much mayo anf missing flavor other then mayo. The chicken itself was not bad, but I won’t be back as it’s mostly Chinese food which I’ve heard it was good, but i went for the Hawaiian not Chinese. People are very friendly.

Quality, cost effective Panda style Americanized Chinese. I ordered the $ 2.99 breakfast combo and was super full after! They have a nice painted mural and service was friendly and quick. :)

This place is very convenient for me. The price is good and its not so busy. Food is good but some dishes could be better. I get the teriyaki combo and its always been great.

Really good for a «fast» chinese food place. Way better then panda or anywhere like that. Service was good and I’ll be back to try the bbq

While the name says Hawaiian the food speaks chinese. Forget the panda express, Haggen’s and Safeway’s chinese, if your thinking of that for a family dinner stop what your doing and go to this place. We got the family meal large 3 item and wow was it a lot of food. You get a whole container of rice and one of noodles. They said you could split the item ½ and ½ so got sesame chicken, sweet & sour chicken, mandarin chicken, mushroom chicken, and Mongolian beef. Also added some crab ragoons and egg rolls. I have 2 teenage boys that eat us out of house and home. After everyone was done we still have 2 full containers of meat and one with rice and noodles. There really is that much food. Dinner tomorrow is taken care of. Yes quantity doesn’t matter without quality and I would say there wasnt one item that we were disappointed with. I’m not a noodle person and I usually go for the rice, but these were the first noodles I really liked. They are bigger than normal ones and have a good flavor. The fried rice is loaded with items, you can actually see the egg and vegetables in it. The sweet & sour chicken and Mongolian beef were my two favorites, but they usually are. The crab ragoons are the best I have had anywhere. They are made int triangle shape which allows for a lot of filling in them. The egg rolls were really good, but they are more like a spring roll than what I would call an egg roll. After going here we wont have supermarket chinese again.

If you’re coming here for cheap Chinese food, you’ve come to the right place. If you want high class fresh Chinese food, move along. All the food is pretty delicious, but also pretty greasy. The portion sizes are more than fair for the price. The place is a little run down, but it’s kept super clean, and everyone working seems relatively friendly. So if you’re on the hunt for cheap Chinese food, this is the place to go!

Came here because my boyfriend was craving Hawaiian food a week ago and convinced me that we should try it. I had already read the reviews on Unilocal and was not looking forward to this place but I thought I’d give it a chance. This was the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Bellingham so far. The lady working was not friendly at all and the food had no flavor. My boyfriend ordered the egg foo young and I ordered an entrée of half fried rice/half chow mien, with pineapple chicken. The fried rice had absolutely no flavor, the chow mien had some flavor, and the pineapple chicken was soggy, making the chicken very chewy and soft, so soft that you knew it was sitting in the sauce way too long. Also, when I was getting a coke from the soda machine, a fly flew out of the soda nozzle. I’ve worked at multiple restaurants before and I know how those things can get sticky and attracting flies, but COMEONPEOPLE, at least wipe them down once a week. The actual setting of the restaurant was also disappointing. There was no music playing so it was VERY quiet and the place just kinda looks like no one cares about it. There’s baskets on each table that are overflowing with different sauce packets and the floor was sticky. By the time we were about to leave, some of the chefs even came out with huge trays of food just picking at, what I would assume, are leftovers from the back. Not professional at all. Would not recommend to anyone in the Bellingham area and will not be coming back. Would rather eat at Panda Express down the street.

I was craving Hawaiian food and was ready to road trip to Everett to Bobby’s but saw that they were closed on Sunday’s and had to make a hard decision: Wait, or find another. We decided to hit up Hawaii BBQ& Noodle House. The portions were huge, I’ll give them that. If you want lots of cheap food, then this place is for you. If you’re looking for cafeteria or mall style chinese food, then you’ll probably love this joint. If you’re looking for good Hawaiian food then I suggest you not stop here because you’ll be highly disappointed. We had the mixed meat plate and a rib plate… neither of us could finish. The ribs were very tender and the sauce tasted quite nice but it was oily as all get-up. Ultimately we left full, tired, and overall disappointed. Now, in saying that and as I mentioned before, if you’re looking for Shanghai Noodle and Fried Chicken type dishes, then this looks like the place to go. If I’m ever in the mood for this type of food I’ll go again and re-evaluate.

Today is Christmas, holy fuck it took an hour to find this place as it was the only take out food pace open. But disappointment soon followed. Ordered two different dishes, that when we got looked exactly the same. The third looked like a mystery meat but was very delicious. All three were accompanied by mediocre noodles and rice. The only good part of the meal was the egg rolls, those I’d definitely get again.

BUMMER… I used to come here all the time over 5 yrs ago. UGH! The won ton noodle soup is disappointing! What happened to this place? The noodles were starchy the won tons were starchy and sticky. They don’t serve beef dishes – Broccoli chicken instead. The chicken they do serve is fatty and gristly. I had to spit chicken gristle and fat out into my napkin… now that’s bad! It’s ok if you’re in a hurry and starving but they need a new cook. No offense but I’m paying for the food, I at least want it to be edible. I tried going back 2 other times and really still disappointed. Step up the quality of your food and who knows if I will be back Oh…their t.v. doesn’t work anymore

My wife and I stopped for a late lunch and had the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken meal. We skipped dinner because we were feeling ill. By bedtime we were both suffering.

Love the food, fast and easy to get a good meal, get it wrapped up and ready to go to the next destination or a car ride meal. Eating inside is just something that is ever capable of doing since we are very busy. I’d recommend this place to anyone, it’s so convenient

Was craving Chinese so my boyfriend had a place he wanted to take me I’d never been I was super skeptical and some what disappointed when we pulled up but now after having it I LOVE this place, the portions are HUGE! The staff is ALWAYS friendly! The price is EXCELLENT! And better yet the food is to die for! The pineapple chicken is heaven on earth!!! Love that it’s always ready for you and that it’s always hot! For drinks they have a huge variety of canned or bottled Drinks to choose from or fountain, they have a large sitting area that’s always clean. This place is our go to place for dinner when we’ve had a crazy busy day and need a quick dinner!

I, along with everyone in my party, was really disappointed. The food tasted old, no flavor, and was overpriced. In no way is it Hawaiian food. We couldn’t even eat more than a few bites before tossing it and going to Panda Express.

Walking in, it looks like a dive. The front windows are filthy and that was almost enough to turn me around. If you’re in a hurry and ear this kind of food, it’s probably not bad. If you don’t eat Panda or greasy fast food, this will not taste too great.

We stumbled into this place about a year ago while in Bellingham. Now whenever we are in town we always make a stop for lunch. Descent food and good portions. That being said I have to knock one star off for their cleanliness. People, if your patrons are able to slide across your floors like they are Ice skating. Then it might be time to break out the mop bucket and start scrubbing.

Cheap eats that are pretty good. Not sure about the name since there wasn’t any traditional Hawaiian food on the menu. This is more or less fast food teriyaki with some Chinese and Korean dishes thrown in for good measure. A good size dining area to bring your friends and family.

If you want a really good deal get the 2 person family meal you get 4 full boxes of food for a little over $ 20 after tax! You can mix and match as many entrees in your two boxes as you want. Then you get two boxes of fried rice and chow mein. I had the long beans and chicken last night very tasty!
