History

Established in 2004.

Begun as an online-​only store in 2004 or so, Merch-​Bot eventually outgrew itself, and moved into beautiful Downtown Bellingham in August 2006, and has been peddling stupid stuff in the form of gifts, toys, and stocking stuffers to the downtown denizens since.

An awesome store for the inner nerd/​geek. Loads of fun gag gifts, stickers, and misc. geek apparel. They also have a pretty good selection of board games — including some used ones at a fantastic price. The staff is very friendly. Very cool store to check out on a walk through downtown. It was a challenge to leave without spending a ton of money!

This was a very fun, kid friendly store. With the exception of one off color wallet (Pulp Fiction reference), everything in the store was kid accessible, which always makes me a bit nervous in novelty stores like this. The kids walked around with tentacle fingers on and got a prize out of the «rubber chicken vending machine» for $.25 If you are a «letterboxer», there is one hidden in the store! Very fun find on a walk around Bellingham today.

A purveyor of awesome geekery! I love shops like this! Places where the strange and geeky is the norm and there’s a big metal junk man outside the door.
I’ve popped in a few times and found some pretty unique goods. One product I pretty much fanboy’d all over were these custom car emblems inspired by geeky things. For example, I popped one on my car that says «TARDIS» and gave one to my tattoo artist that said «Falcon: Millennium Edition». It’s dope!
The staff is friendly and if they are out of something they offer to call you when it’s in stock.
It’s a «must visit» when I check out the ‘Ham. Ya’ll should too!

Merch Bot is alot of fun to look around in! These guys have tons of fun novelties and t-​shirts. If you like zombies then you will get your fix because they have tons of zombie merchandise. Also you can find great bumper stickers and posters. Geeks will love this store

Bacon shaped bandages? check. Punching jesus action figure? check. Wheel of drinks? check. Everything you need to make that frat party unforgettable is in this store. Its a fun little kitch shop which specializes in the zany and strange.
They have some fun gag gifts and stuff like that as well as clothing with rather unusual sayings and pics on the front. So you can always find something fun here.
Two down sides which are costing them two stars… the people their are grumpy (why would you be grumpy working in a place like this?!) and their clothing is made for freaking midgets as far as i can tell… my petite friends don’t even fit into their larges!

Imagine Spencer’s Gifts and Archie McPhee got together and had an illegitimate love child… and it was raised by an ad from the back page of a 1960s comic book on a diet of bacon, cheese and zombie flesh… That’s Merch Bot. Bizarre novelties, gag gifts, and all of the Bacon merchandise you could ever want to buy! Where else in could you buy rubber chickens, pirate hoodies, Miracle Jesus Action Figures with glow-​in-​the-​dark hands, zombie brain gelatin molds, and wind-​up nuns? Seriously!
