History

Established in 1964.

The Firm was founded in 1964 when Richard D. Metcalf and Harvey H. Tebrich merged their individual CPA practices into a partnership, calling the Firm Metcalf & Tebrich. In 1979 the Firm’s name was changed to Metcalf, Hodges & Co. to recognize Ben Hodges’ contribution to the Firm’s standing in the community. In November 1998, the Firm reorganized and the name was changed to Metcalf Hodges P. S. From its inception, the Firm has continually endeavored to provide the highest quality of service in accounting, consulting and tax matters to all types and forms of businesses, not-​for-​profit organizations and individuals. Dick Metcalf set the highest standard for ethical business practices and service to others and instilled that in all who worked with him.
