History
Established in 2003.
Peter James began his career in the world of Fine Art Portraiture for galleries and private clientele. However, he frequently got requests from business owners to create ads for them. He soon began to realize that many more people were seeing his work and recognizing his name because of the ad work he was doing than his galley exhibitions. This lead to his realization that ads have become the most ever-present and the most influential cultural icons of our day.
As he explored the world of advertising more, he became fascinated with the concept of functional art, art with a purpose. To him it became about problem solving. About creating images that could cut through the thousands of other marketing message consumers are bombarded with, and reach them on a level that made them feel something again, which is the purpose of all art.
Consumers are inundated with marketing that they are trying to block out, but they can still be reached thought the power and pleasure of artistic creativity.
