Phaze 2 Nails & Salon

I have been a regular customer at Phase 2 for years. The past 3 times I’ve gone in I have been very disappointed with my nails. Today I had shellac done. The women got nail polish all over my cuticles and finger tips, she had to re-​due 2 of my nails because they were very bumpy. It looks like I painted them myself. Last time I had 1 finger nail painted a different color than the rest, that nail polish got on the other nail next to it, she didn’t fix it. Over all the quality of the service has really fallen off. It’s just sloppy and unprofessional. I will no longer be going to phase 2.

I made an appointment and show up and they didn’t save a station for me. I’ve been sitting here for 45 minutes passed my appointment time.

Whenever I go to get a pedicure and gel polish manicure, I set aside 2 hours of my day. If it takes less than that, awesome. I’m not going to fly into some salon on a whim and then get pissed off when they are busy or take their time doing my services.
Phaze2 is not known for cranking out mani after pedi. They take their time, they don’t rush and in my mind, it is SO worth it.
Brandy is amazing. She is super sweet and pays all the attention to details. My nails are always perfect and last for a solid 3.5 weeks after a gel polish manicure. The most I have ever paid was $ 60 and that was for a gel mani and pedi with extra detail added to my fingernails.
I have zero complaints.

One of my favorite places to get a mani and pedi! I work really hard with my hands and this is the only place where the polish will seriously last two weeks without doing shlack polish. I feel like anywhere else I go my nails are screwed up after a couple days. Plus it’s always so clean in here when I go.

Unfortunately I checked Unilocal AFTER making an appointment. Big mistake. Read the reviews first before deciding to book an appointment here! I was specifically looking for a salon that speaks fluent English and was assured they communicate effectively. This was not the case. I asked her NOT to clip my cuticles but she did it anyway. I asked her NOT to cut my nails short but she did it anyway. In addition, the salon tech was on her cell phone texting and/​or speaking on her phone the entire time and her phone was sounding off. The tech forgot to give me a hand message and when I asked about this while paying the girl went to get the nail tech but she had already gone home. I do not recommend this salon and won’t be going back.

More like «Phaze you out!» This place has been hit or miss in the past but this was and will be my last visit. I made an appointment for 4, for me and my bridal party the day before my wedding. They were not prepared for us in the least bit. I’m not sure if they took on too many walk-​ins or overbooked themselves? One of my bridesmaids was about 10 minutes behind and they wouldn’t do her nails, they turned her away! My other two bridesmaids sat in the pedicure chairs for about an hour waiting for their pedicures. My nails were mediocre at best, the stones that were glued on fell off before the ceremony (less than 24 hours). One of my bridesmaids hated her manicure and had it re-​done else where. It took forever for the 3 of us to have our mani-​pedis and it really was not how I expected to be treated in preparation for my big day. I made the reservations about a month in advance expecting 4 techs to complete our pedicures during the same time period and move onto our manicures in a relatively timely manner so we could sit next to each other and gossip in English. I wish I would have gone somewhere else. I returned a couple weeks later as a walk-​in and they wouldn’t take me, they told me to come back in a couple hours… I mentioned how upsetting that was since they turned one of my bridesmaids away when she had a SCHEDULED appointment. The gal told me I should have discussed that when I was in for my bridal appointment. I told her I would never be back. I have found a way better place that doesn’t make me worry if the techs are victims of human trafficking.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. The services, nails and pedi are great. Customer service, not so much. Recently I’ve had to wait over 40 minutes even with an appt. This salon is so poorly ran. I thought they were different but they are not. They take everone that walks in the door so beware if you think an appt. will help.

Arrived in the late afternoon as a walk-​in after having left a nearby salon and asked if they had time for a full set of nails. Hair stylist friendly and accommadating (already an imrprovement over previous experience elsewhere), excused herself to her client, and asked nail tech. I was invited to the station. Nail Tech asked me a few pertinent questions and provided excellent pain free service. Price is good, service is nice. I do have an issue with nail techs lounging in pedi chairs but I’ve seen worse things. Based on my first experience I will most definitely return, in fact I scheduled my fill for two weeks from yesterday.

Customer service is not a priority!!! So I came in yesterday and they were super busy. So I decided to make an appointment today.11:00. And no it was not busy at all!!!
I arrived on time and was sat in a chair at 11:00… Great!!! I have been sitting in the chair now for 30 minutes and no one has come up to me… My feet are prunes… so I finally got my nails done… my toes look good super happy… Went to get my manicure. And she cuts my skin/​cuticles twice… Ouch really. That is awful… I will never return to this salon… I can’t believe it !!! Do not get your nails done here!!!

I love the nail art work and love getting my pedicure at phaze 2. my polished stay on long time!!!

I’ve had 3 pedi’s here…
This is your run of the mill Asian nail salon. The girls are all speaking Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, etc., sitting in the pedi chairs on their phones ignoring you or talking shit about you, to your face in a language you don’t understand. It’s clean enough, but you really have no idea how well anything was steralized and run the risk of contracting the bubonic plague. Sound familiar? Once you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all.
What I can tell you is that the quality of service is spotty. Lisa is great. She’s quick and her pedis last. She also gives a great leg massage while she yaps away in whatever language she is speaking to the 3 other nail techs taking a «break» in the pedi chairs next to you. Sometimes I feel like their conversation has taken an angry turn and she’s taking it out on me. Whatever floats her boat I guess. I always request Lisa or call ahead and book in with her. I’ve not done this in the past and have ended up with a nail tech, I swear, couldn’t see — somewhat counterproductive?
To conclude, I’ll be back.

So unfortunately I’ve had a really bad experience here. First of all the salon is chaos. Sometimes there is no receptionist at the front desk and the stylists go back and forth between the client and answering phone calls. It is very unprofessionally run. The manicures and pedicures are just as everywhere else in Bellingham is, nothing special here. They also use that gross razor-​like thing to shave off the dead skin off your heels and DO NOT change it in between clients! That is so unsanitary and gross. That’s the last time I go there.
I’ve had my hair done here and it is just OK. Nothing to brag about.

Always leave happy. This has been my regular nail place for 5 years now and they are the only place in Bham that you get the best service/​quality for the price. They are always busy but always fit me in when I walk-​in. It has a clean and comfortable modern vibe. The girls there are very sweet and always remember you when you come back!

I’ve gone to Phase 2 for my hair for years. Its a super trendy salon for nails, hair and waxing. I have Jessica do my hair and she does an amazing job and always gaurantee’s her work. They do great waxing and have a fun and comfortable salon. All the girls do a great job! SO nice too!

Definatly not a Chrysolis spa but a wonderful relaxing place to go with friends. I appreciate this place because of its great staff and trendy environment. This would be a good place for bridal parties since they have 8 pedicure stations.
