Where can you find a Texas Maple outside of Pike Place Market? Ring a ding ding and step in line! The tastebuds did about fifty backflips at the sight of that sugary concoction! Expect a line out the door, and to be honest, when you see a line out any door, you know you’ve found local gold. Apple Fritters… ginormous and filled with goodness in every bite Maple with candied bacon… that’s a breakfast of champions right there Cream filled… powdered sugar, chocolate and crumble oh my! Come in hungry and leave fulfilled. Be fully prepared to leave with a bag, a half a dozen, dozen, three dozen… whatever…after standing in line fully taking on a new perfume called eau de doughnut and eyeing all of the freshly made doughy goods. Besides, there’s no calories when something tastes this devilishly good, right? Right!

Tried both donut and ice cream not bad at all way better than what I expected. If you are at Fairhaven give it a try.

Nice spot with Jetsons-like rocket outside but not necessarily better tasting donuts than the standard fare.

Okay! On the road to hop the Alaska State Ferry to Skagway, we made a much anticipated stop(due to all the over the top reviews) at Rocket Donuts — sure am glad we did! First, although we didn’t indulge — there are GIANT donuts!) These would be fun for a party… or if you’re feeling particularly hungry for sweets? But, plenty of other smaller(normal) donuts are available too — and they are delicious. Peruse the ample display case, order a cup of the not-bad coffee, and sit down to enjoy both while you amuse yourself looking at the interesting décor. Old space movies are showing, and other space-related memorabilia lurks in all corners. This is a great, local spot to support if you’re visiting Bellingham… or even, if you are lucky enough to live here!

Pretty great, this place has gluten-free donuts and they’re good :) The other fav, with gluten was the blueberry fritter, they loved that one!

Maple bacon bar is one of the best donuts i have ever had. The staff is also super friendly and also recommended a few other things for my next visit. Easy to say I’ll be back!

My friend and I wanted a place to study and a sweet treat so we headed to Rocket Donuts. There is free parking but it’s only for 20 minutes and we wanted to work on school work for much longer than that, so we unfortunately had to pay to park. As long as those parking in the lot are paying customers, I don’t think there should be a time limit. I really loved the unique décor of the place! It has a vintage space theme which made the environment playful and fun. I read some reviews before visiting and I knew I wanted to get the huge donut for $ 4. When we arrived, there was only one left and it was plain glazed. I wanted something a little more exciting and the girl working was very quick to offer to spruce it up for me. She offered me a selection of toppings and frostings and I chose chocolate with Oreo crumble. We had no problem finding seating and took full advantage of the free wifi. I cut in to the donut(it’s that big!) and was immediately in love. It was warm, gooey and had plenty of rich chocolate frosting. Perfection! I struggled to eat the whole thing because it was so indulgent! I can’t wait to come back and try some of the more creative flavors like Apple Pie, Smores and PB&J. The only thing I disliked was the surrounding area. While I know they can’t control this, it was difficult to enjoy the experience because we had some homeless people sitting next to us, singing loudly and shouting. It put me on edge a little bit. I would be curious to try the Fairhaven location and see if it has a different vibe.

Best deal in town after 4pm. 12 for $ 5. Really just run of the mill donuts but presentation in the store was top notch and counter girls very friendly. Would have wanted to try their coffee. Maybe next time

Two weeks in a row without vegan doughnuts. I’m starting to feel sorry for the poor young lady who has to report that once again her company cannot fulfill its menu. I would have complained directly to management but there is no contact information on their website, just the phone numbers of the individual donut shops. There would be no point in my calling the phone number to talk to the same person I had just spoken to. I question a company that lists a product on its menu but never has it in stock. If you don’t have a market for a product do not sell the product. But also do not tell your clientele that you do carry it.

Rocket Donuts doesn’t have anything that really sets itself apart from any other donut joint, but they’re still tasty. I prefer the traditional cake donut, blueberry donut or apple fritter. My partner loves the apple pie donut with apple pie filling in the center and brown sugar crumble on top. The buttermilk donut is decent. Rocket Donuts’ «cronut» didn’t really have croissant dough so I wouldn’t recommend it. I realized that the Boston Cream donut is just filled with generic vanilla pudding… wah wah. Sometimes if you’re lucky they’ll have vegan donuts.

Wonderful find! We stumbled across this place unexpectedly and were pleasantly surprised. The staff what cheerful, friendly, and helpful. There was a good selection of donuts available(late morning Saturday). All of the donuts that we tried were fantastic! We’ll definitely be going back here the next time we’re in Bellingham! :)

Do you like the taste when your pancake syrup spills over onto your bacon during breakfast? Does the idea of throwing yourself into a diabetic coma excite you? Or are you just looking for a kitschy little place that is «quintessential Bellingham» for an out-of-town visitor you’re trying to impress? Either way, you’ve come to the right place. Tucked into a tiny spot on Holly Street near the antique district, Rocket Donuts does pretty much one thing(um, donuts) and they do it well. From simple, crusty old-fashioneds to a sprinkle-covered donut that’s the size of most newborns to their signature maple-bacon bar, Rocket is making delicious sugary treats to get your heart rate(and possibly your cholesterol level) racing. Yes, they serve ice cream too, and coffee, and probably a couple of other things I haven’t noticed. But really, come for the donuts(and the cool retro sci-fi atmosphere). The giant life-sized rocket in the parking lot(yes, they have parking) is an added bonus. By the way, they only take cash so plan accordingly. Still it’s a cheap date: recently a friend and I got out of here for less than $ 4.

Very delicious for only 0.99 cents a donut. Highly recommend it. Good variety. If you want to try the maple bacon donut you have to come early. As well they have the largest donut for only $ 14. Décor is nice except it has a weird smell when stepped in

Rocket Donuts is like the Voodoo Doughnuts of Bellingham. They offer all the gold standards with a couple gimmicky combinations that people love(maple bacon bars!), without being as refined or gourmet as a place like Blue Star Donuts(the donut capital of the Pacific Northwest). If you’re in the downtown Bellingham area, Rocket Donuts is the best place to stop for a donut. They have free parking(look for the giant rocket sculpture) and free wi-fi, gluten-free options, vegan options and organic, locally roasted fair-trade coffee. There’s no CC minimum, so you don’t have to feel like an asshole just getting a donut and cup of joe. Also, there’s a TON of seating in here. It’s insane, I’m curious if they ever fill it. So, if you’re toting around your entire family, this is definitely a good place to stop into.

Great donut shop! Reasonable prices not too expensive. Space gets kinda small when theres alot of people, especially waiting in line. PAYMENTS: They accept cash visa mastercard amex and discover. NOCHECKS. DONUT: I got a blueberry fritter in my first visit. It was pretty good! Sweet, but not overwhelming. And this is coming from a guy who cant take too much sweetness. Unless its from a girl ;) SPEED: Came during morning time so it was kinda packed, but even then they got through to everybody for those rushing before work. CLEANLINESS: awesome. Not a crumb on the floor. Saying alot considering rush hour. Decorations are curious to see. SERVICE: fast and friendly! Cute register girl

Really huge doughnuts and free wifi. The baked goods were tasty and check out the mega size doughnut, a bit over the top but then why not, right??? The prices are 50% off after 4pm so this mega doughnut was $ 2 after 4pm… crazy!

I love this place! From the moment I walked up and saw the silver rocket outside, to the groovy Sci-Fi décor inside, to the fun selection of delicious donuts, I truly enjoyed the experience of being there. Despite the interesting varieties of donuts like the Maple Bacon Bar, I went with my classic favorite, Bavarian cream. It was everything I had hoped for… a fluffy pastry, coated with a creamy chocolate frosting, and minimally, but entirely stuffed with a light yellow cream. There was plenty of seating in the side room, but you could also grab one of the two picture-window tables in the main store room. I would have stayed longer to enjoy the free WiFi, but the metered, street parking out front only allowed for 30 minutes. I think this is probably the best and most unique donut shop I have ever visited.
