Best coffee in Fairhaven and the baristas are really great. The seating is really comfortable, and I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Super nice employees, nice atmosphere, and really really good coffee! My only complain is that I have bad cell service in the shop but the free wifi makes up for it

Oh, that was a tasty chai latte. Thank you. And the little sticker they place atop the drink hole to keep it warm, nice touch. Lastly, scone we shared, raspberry, super good. Mmm, raspberry. Conscientous service, too.

It’s cute. They try hard. Probably a little bit too hard. Interior décor is great. The rustic mocha was a bit too sweet for me. I think they add some kind of syrup, maybe vanilla, to it. The sweetness and intensity of the chocolate overwhelmed the espresso, so I couldn’t get a sense of how good the coffee really was.

This place is a Fairhaven gem. The best coffee and atmosphere combined in Fairhaven. Quieter and more polished that Tony’s– quiet is a a rarity in the Bellingham coffee scene. I really thought their coffee tasted great– I did soy pumpkin chai one day, a peppermint mocha the next and an americano the next. All were great. Sweetness is fully adjustable. Beautiful interior– plush leather options, bar seating and comfortable tables. Beautiful arch windows looking out into Fairhaven, and thoughtfully tucked into Mackenzie Alley(I believe). Baristas are warm, friendly and happy to encourage a beverage if you’re torn between a few. The speed of service seemed just fine to me, and I have definitely spent a good hour there working on business accounts. Did I mention they have a partial WINEBAR? Coachhouse Cellars is quality wine, too.

Cute place. Super classy with brown hues. Adorable leaf textured gold sign displaying the company logo. «Fireplace» near the bar seating. Had great specials and loved my taste of fall latte, which had salted caramel and pumpkin sauce in it. Great spot for reading a book on a cool fall day. Right in the heart of the Fairhaven district in a rustic looking alley. Tastefully decorated with pumpkin décor.

What a cool little place! Good coffee and super nice barista. Really liked the seating area and the fireplace — made me feel like I was hanging out at a friend’s house who has far nicer furniture than I do :) Decent selection of wine — I didn’t have any this visit but did peruse the bottles. Will definitely be back!

Always consistent at being slow. The space is crowded and now that they added wine it feel even less like a place I’m gonna go for coffee. I only ever stop if I have enough time to kill in the area and today took the cake. I was asked twice hot or cold and after responding hot both times walked out with ice in my drink. I didn’t realize they were asking me about the weather…

Great location in old Fairhaven, laid back but warm and friendly staff, well prepared drinkables(even have almond milk!), tables and chairs of all shapes and sizes, a fireplace, good selection of tasty food and free WiFi… what more do you want from a coffee oasis? Worth trying if you’re in Fairhaven and jonesing for java.

I would give it 5⁄5 but the barista was dumb. I asked for a 12oz white mocha in a mug because I would be drinking it there and she put it in a 16oz to go cup. She couldn’t figure out the change for the life of her when I handed her a $ 20 bill. She forgot my bagel and then was reminding everyone at 5:20 that they closed at 6. I find that a little rude in my opinion

Although Café Adagio has my downtown heart, Rustic is my go to place for Fairhaven coffee if I’m not studying at Woods in Boulevard Park.

This place is a gem. It is a nice clean and modern bistro with excellent customer service. In adition it has a variety of comfortable seating options, tasty food and drinks with free Wi-Fi. It’s far superior to Starbucks.

Came here for a quick stop one quiet Saturday morning, while there were barely any people. This cute café/bar is homey, comfortable, clean and incredibly warm. Why 4 stars? (1) The coffee is pretty decent good. Now, I’m not a connoisseur, but when I taste something good, it’s just good. No need to dissect the taste too much. We also tried their Rustic Mocha — which is a mocha with caramel and coconut — which was a nice surprise, and something different from the norm. (2) The portions/size are pretty good compared to other chain coffee stores. (3) Coffee AND wine? Awesome! Unfortunately it was too early to have wine, but I wish that one day I could try it out… All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and visit Rustic one day in the future if I’m ever in Fairhaven!

Such a classic, beautiful little café! The Rustic is one of my favorite stops in Fairhaven. It has a great atmosphere and awesome service, along with excellent food and drinks. Their mochas are to die for, and I haven’t even gotten to the grilled cheese. If you go to the Rustic, get the grilled cheese. It’s made with incredible cheese on focaccia bread… The Rustic also has excellent bakery items, cookies, pastries, you name it, and delish soup. Highly recommend this.

I’m pleased to have found Rustic Coffee & Wine Bar, with all it’s comforts. Who ever invented the sandwich board –thank you! Because the entrance is from the lane and not the street, we missed this café before but now we’ll be heading to Rustic for our afternoon pick me ups when in B-ham/Fairhaven. Wireless, comfy chairs, attractive interior. **Not particularly gluten-intolerant friendly, especially when you throw in a dairy allergy but there are other options nearby.

Located in an alley way in Fairhaven. This coffee shop was very friendly and accommodating. Every coffee shop has their coffee and treats. What’s special about this coffee shop is that they also have wine. Also, it seems that the owner is very peculiar to the integrity of the shop since she had personally changed a light bulb that went out in the reading area where my kids were enjoying their time with the books the store had provided.

This local coffee bar has a great atmosphere — cozy fire going today on a drizzly Saturday morning. The food choices are amazing, everything from quiche to scones to breakfast sandwiches, with veggie options, too. The coffee is awesome, just not as hot as i would like but the flavor is great. The scones were better when I took them home & heated them up, so ask them to heat yours. I’ve yet to stop by in the afternoon & sample the wine & cheese plates, but they look really good. Lots of soup & sandwich options, so it’s definitely more than just a coffee spot. Perfect little bistro in my favorite neighborhood, Fairhaven.

Love, love, love! I’m always hesitant when it comes to trying new cafes because I’ll admit I’m a girl who loves her Starbucks. Since my roommate and I needed a change of scenery from our typical study locations we found this place. It’s located in Fairhaven across from CreativiTea. I ordered their rustic mocha and it was SOGOOD. Enough said. Try it for yourself. I also tried their breakfast wrap and it was okay. Nothing unique or different about it. Pros: — Small and cozy. Has an area with couches, tables and a mini fireplace. Perfect environment to catch-up with an old friend or to study as its never overly packed. — Good customer service. Baristas were welcoming and friendly. — Free wifi.(+ it’s fast) — Quite a wide selection of drinks and food to choose from. — Good looking bathroom. Felt like I was at someone’s house as opposed to a café. Cons: — Closes early(at 7/7:30pm) but they do open early. — Wish the lighting wasn’t so dim.

So pleased to have found this gem in Fairhaven! — Unfortunately right before I’m about to leave town :[. It’s sandwiched between an alley way & a vietnamese sandwich shop. Outside are advertisements for drink specials and happy hour. Upon entering, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of coffee, a book shelf to your left, and comfortable seating/tables to your right. The place is small but quite cozy. They even have a fireplace that rests above their elevated seating. It’s perfect for studying at if you’re looking for a place with free wifi. I’ve ordered the rustic mocha(coconut infused mocha — my new favorite) & green tea smoothie… thing. My mind’s drawing a blank but I wouldn’t order whatever the green-tea based smoothie is again. Basically ice + flavored powder. The wraps were okay(tortilla + whipped chunks of egg, cheese, etc. inside) — enough to fill me up as I studied for finals. Both baristas I’ve encountered have been nice and informative. They even hand deliver your order to wherever you’re sitting! — A nice touch :).

Located in old fairhaven, the atmosphere of the adorable coffee shop is really cozy! It’s a little bit small so when I went with a friend to play cards we felt like we were being a little too loud for the people around us. But the hot chocolate is to die for! They also have wine and hard ciders that I would love to try sometime. It seems like an awesome place to just sit around and talk. The baristas were very friendly and patient when we were trying to make up our minds and she is the one who suggested the hot chocolate. The cookies are equally yummy and were the size of my face! Definitely am going to stop by there more often!
